It was great when I took my BMW, and deserved 4 or 5 stars. But it appears to be out of business now!

I had a 9am appointment and no one was there. I called several times and there was no answer. I waited a hour and the door was still locked. No one returned my calls. I hope I can get a refund from groupon.

I got the AmazonLocal deal and considering the discount I got, I would’ve given my experience 4.5 stars. However, I’m going to rate it based on the regular price.
I should first say that the actual detailing job (I got the premium package, which covers exterior and interior) was very good and completed on time with all my requests taken care of. However, the service is not very professional and the location is not convenient.
The day before your appointment, you get an automated reminder email, which is nice, and then another one a few hours before the appointment. The email tells you that the appointment might get canceled if you are more than 15 minutes late. This raises your expectation on punctuality, right? So I made sure I was on time, beating the morning traffic, especially since the location is in a less-​traveled part of the city. When I got there on time, I noticed that the door was locked and nobody inside. The owner came right after the 15-​minute window had passed, creating an ironic situation. What was really a bad sign, though, is that he did not apologize. He didn’t even say «Good morning» or smile after he arrived. It as like he was in a bad mood (which I can relate to) but I would expect a higher level of professionalism.
The second issue is location. Since detailing takes a while, and I didn’t have anyone to pick me up, I decided to walk to the metro station (end of Green), which apparently was a 30-​min walk away. No problem! However… as I started walking, I realized that I had to pass a highway (3 lanes on each side) without a crosswalk for pedestrians and without any sidewalk either! It is really not meant for pedestrians.
If you are mainly looking for a good detailing job and don’t care about the location and service, go for it.

Did not have a good experience at all. My appointment was for a premium detail with paint touch ups, scheduled for 9am-​12pm, and nobody even showed up to open the place until 9:15. They didn’t finish my car until after 1pm and it was still dirty inside the car and there were smudges on the exterior as well. I had to ask them to take the car back in and clean it. There was dirt and stuff still on the floor and they didn’t even make an effort to wipe down the interior of the car at all. All they did was clean the windows inside, and they washed and waxed the car. Made no extra effort to buff out any blemishes or anything. I could have done a better job myself in 30 mins or less. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go at your own risk.

These guys seem to specialize in making crappy looking cars better, and most of the positive reviews seem to be for «rescue» jobs… but if your car is ALREADY looking good and you want them to restore it to actual «showroom» condition, be careful!
I took my BMW 650i and my Ford Expedition to these guys, one after the other. First, I dropped of the BMW to have their «showroom» exterior detail service. I picked it up two days later and dropped off the Ford when I did. I thought the car looked good at first but I realized when I got home, a 10 minute drive, that they had never even touched the rims or wheel well on my beemer. I had spent $ 380 for the «showroom» service and they hadn’t even touched my wheels! So I just cleaned them myself. Of course I was pissed and wished I hadn’t dropped my truck with them, but since my truck was already there to get a «showroom» interior and exterior detail I decided to wait until I picked it up to complain about the beemer.
When I went to get the truck at the agreed upon due date, four days later, they had not done anything to the exterior at all except clean the rims somewhat. I asked why my truck wasn’t done and they told me they tried to call me four days ago to get clarity on what I wanted done. But they NEVER LEFT A VOICEMAIL! and the NEVER CALLED ME BACK! So I had no idea they tried to contact me and my truck had literally just been sitting in their lot for four days! The interior had been cleaned but far from «showroom» detail condition. The steering wheel and seat backs were still dirty, as were the visors. I pointed this out to them and told them about the half-​ass job on the beemer. They sent a guy out to spot clean the interior but by then I was through. I told them not to worry about finishing the job, take money off the bill and let me go. The rep was very apologetic, gave me a discount, and offered to fix everything, but since my truck had already been there for four days I wasn’t going to leave it there for a fifth and I didn’t want to leave my car there again either because, like most 650i owners, I’m very particular about who works on my ride and they had already done a half ass job so I wasn’t really feeling like going through the inconvenience of leaving it again. Then to top it off, when I got back home from picking up my truck, I caught my BMW in just the right sunlight while it was sitting in my driveway and realized that it had swirl marks ALL OVER it from when they buffed it, which means they didn’t properly buff it by hand (like you’re supposed to do for a black car) and they never used swirl mark remover. I was done.
Maybe I just caught them on a bad week and I’m sure they may have been willing to fix it but I had already been inconvenienced enough so I just said F’ it and redid the detail jobs myself… and they look spectacular. way better than the job they did. So I basically paid them a total of about $ 600 bucks for nothing. A waste of money and time. I’ll never go back and it makes me even leery of going to ANY other detail shop again because these guys were so highly recommended… and they still sucked.

I bought a LivingSocial deal for a full detailing, and they did a great job! My car (Acura TL) looked cleaner than it’s looked in years. They even touched up some knicks and scratches with paint.

Super clean and quick. The guys really did an amazing job touching up the car inside and out. Please let them know where you want them to focus on mainly. They will not disappoint! The deal that was on amazon local was a great incentive to try this place out. Keep up the great work!

This place is legit. They took care of my baby (Mustang). I got the car detailed, and it was sparkling inside and outside. (The place is super clean too). I talked to them about other services, and they were very up front about how some services are better than others.
The annoying thing about this place is the location though — wish it were in DC. But they said they’d be happy to pick up/​drop off at the metro (green line) if you don’t want to stay there while your car is getting worked on.

Was looking around for a good tint shop for my BMW M5 and considered LA Tint, however, a friend recommended Automoto Solutions. Called Vincent up to set up an appointment and let me tell yah they did a great job and half the price compared to LA Tint. The tint looks perfect on the M and many thanks to Automoto Solutions!

Took my car here to get some cosmetic surgery. Pricing was fair. My car was ready a day earlier than estimated. I think I have found my go to body shop.

I just recently had a bronze Enkei will repaired due to some nasty curb rash. Not only is there customer service great but he got my rim done the same day. I can’t even tell that I had an issue with this rim. I will be bringing back the rest of my vehicles for some other work.

I don’t usually find myself reviewing many places, but I had to make an exception for Automoto Solutions. These guys are automotive industry revolutionizers! They’ve got an incredible business ethic that’s difficult to find in any industry, let alone the automotive industry. They’re completely upfront with you regarding any service you receive or question you have. They won’t try to sell you irrelevant products/​services. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of service they offer.
I went in yesterday to get my wheels repaired as I had a couple bent wheels. I initially just wanted an estimate so I could make a later appointment. Although they don’t usually service vehicles on Saturdays, they were able to repair my wheels (and successfully repair a couple scratches on my mom’s Touareg) the same day. They gave my wheels a look and gave me a price, but they found a couple more bends in the wheels while investigating the wheels further and stood by their initial price estimate. I drove my car on the highway later that day and didn’t feel a thing. The car glided down the highway without any wheel vibrations.
I can honestly say this place is legen… wait for it… dary! I never thought I’d be giving such a raving review about a automotive repair place in a million years, but this place deserves it.

Remember this day, because you’ll probably never see a five-​star rating on any car-​related business from me ever again. I hate these places like I hate dentists– they’re expensive and you’re there because something has gone terribly wrong. My reasons for using their services is an incompetent DD and a, now, ex-​gf who decided to run over a big ass hole in the ground. Bent effing rims. My car dealership wanted to charge $ 300+ for the repair. Exsqueeze me? So I looked around and found these guys. Vince answered my call, quoted me $ 175 for the repair. Well that’s a no-​brainer. They took my car, finished it quickly and called promptly. I’m satisfied with the repair, though they found another problem (which, unfortunately, they can’t solve). Through the process, they were courteous and professional. And I daresay, ethical. That’s rare for this industry. When it came time to see the invoice, I was given a price of $ 132. Uh. That’s better than saving 15% by switching my car insurance to Geico. Anyway, these are good peeps. Recommend.

Had a coupon for touch up work on my SUV. They did excellent work, were very friendly and timely.

Brought my car in here today to fix a chip in my shield and a scratch on the bumper. It’s good to see auto specialists excited about being specialists and working with consumers. I got a fair price and a quick turn-​around. Keep up the good work.

I used to own a black Audi with beige leather interior. I made a horrible mistake of leaving an orange candle in my car on a 100 degree summer day in VA. So when I returned to my car that following morning, I was faced with the horrific site of melted orange wax on my beautiful beige leather interior. I thought my baby was done for good.
I brought my car to AutoMoto and they did an amazing job. You would never know that the leather had experienced any prior damage. Later that year when I got rear ended, I went back to AutoMoto and they buffed out all the scratches on the rear bumper and did their due diligence repainting it.
When I brought my car to the dealer for service, my mechanic told me that my car was the only one he had seen in that model in such flawless condition. Little did he know that what he deemed flawless was a result of the stellar restoration services that AutoMoto Solutions provides.
I highly recommend AutoMoto Solutions for your car’s cosmetic repair. I’ve experienced first hand the quality repair service they provide — both interior and exterior and I also appreciate the the quick turn on their repair jobs, as well as the accuracy of their estimates.

Automoto Solutions is a professional and time efficient body shop and they do great work. I have used them 3 different times and they are pro’s at what they do. Cost effective, quality workmanship and fast turn around, thats rare. I would highly recommend Automoto Solutions!

I took my 2003 Mercedes that looked like it was old enough to be a 1993 to Ken and he made it look amazing! He got the show room shine back, removed and buffed out swirls in the paint, got a huge dent out of the back bumper, made the interior leather look brand new and completed the whole project in a short time for a very reasonable price. Go see Ken, he’ll take great care of you and your car!

AutoMoto Solutions is run by really fun, genuine, and smart guys. Ken is great at what he does, as he worked in industry for quite a while before he came to own AutoMoto.
AutoMoto – stylish, professional, and amazing quality. They can give you whatever you need, whether it is a functional fix (worn interior, collision repair, etc) or a cosmetic job (they do custom paint jobs, an exterior batmobile-​like wrap, etc). They work on cars and motorcycles. All of the AutoMoto staff ride and drive.
Word is that Big Tigger, radio personality on 95.5FM, along with a few other well-​known names go to AutoMoto. The company used to function on a referral-​only process, but has recently opened itself up to the public. This is one of DC’s secret gems!
