The personal attention and excellent customer care you receive at the Running Center is top notch. The staff is always so kind, personable, and knowledgeable. They price match and offer discounts for military and local running groups. I would much rather support a local business than buy online and they make it so easy for me to do that! Getting five stars from me isn’t an easy task. But… this store rocks. Super nice people, quality products, fair price and just plain worth it. In a day when customer service dosent seem to be on many merchants minds, the running center takes the lead. If they don’t have it, they order it for you, always friendly, and a great place to shop. My favorite place to buy running shoes! They take their time with you to figure out your needs and the service there is great! They have a very wide assortment of shoes and are willing to allow you to try them all on!

***10% MILITARY DISCOUNT (on shoes)***. This is the very first running store I went to and the staff is not only welcoming and approachable, they definitely know their stuff when it comes to running. Ruth is simply the BEST and was so happy when I told her how serious I have been with running now. I am planning on running my first marathon and she gave me fantastic tips since I have already ran some half marathons. In 2012, I bought three pairs of running shoes from them and although two are worn out, I still wear them for casual walks or runs. Recently, I got some new running shorts from them as well so I was very happy with my purchase. Runners, this is the place for you!

The staff here is really helpful and that’s great. They are so knowledgable about the products and are able to recommend what’s best for you. In addition their return policy is really awesome too they give you 30 days on new shoes. I feel like they could have more of a selection of running clothes such as compression shorts and tanks & visors! Another great thing is they have a fun run every Thursday which is awesome for local runners!

I was in need of a better running shoe and decided to checked this store out because they had such good reviews. Now I know why! As soon as I walked in they asked me if I needed help, got my shoe size then went in the back to get a neutral shoe in my size. They saw how I ran then recommended a shoe for me. It was so fast and the shoe they recommended was so comfortable! I think the person that helped was Barb but I’m not sure, she was amazing none the less. I highly recommend this place if you need help finding a good running shoe.

Recently experienced a foot injury and was looking for new shoes that wouldn’t aggravate my injury further. Was having trouble finding the right shoe at the big retail chains and was frustrated by teenage sales clerks who had no idea what the heck they were talking about. I showed up here after looking for a local shop that would meet my needs.
Not a huge selection but the customer service was incredible and I found the perfect shoe, with a little help from the sales lady, in no time at all. I’ll come back again when my new shoes need to be replaced!!!

Just went there yesterday and found exactly what I was looking for in a no-​pressure environment. The impression I get when I go in there is that they truly want to do what they can to help get you out there and running.

My husband and I purchased new shoes last October from here and had an excellent experience. Last week, my husband lost his nice expensive shoes and needed to replace. I called the store looking to see if they could help me (we could not remember the exact style) and since they had our purchases on record, they were able to order the exact pair! They are always friendly, but this type of service is priceless!

Best customer service around! I’ve been returning here for over 6 years and am never disappointed. Great selection, excellent customer service and attention to details. They have no problem spending as much time as needed to find the shoe that fits and feels wonderful on «your» feet. The Thursday fun runs are a great place to meet fellow runners of all levels. I am an avid runner and triathlete and realize the importance of running in the correct shoe. I have been a customer of the running center for years. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable and really go the extra mile to make sure you are fitted with the proper shoes within your own range of preferences. They also carry all those running specific products and popular nutrition that is often hard to find in other sporting goods stores. They often have «wear test» days where the companies will come out and actually let you run outside in the different model shoes to see what works for you and what doesn’t.
Like the previous customers mentioned, they are very supportive of the running community and not only have their own runs, but are knowledgeable about all the different groups in the area, as well as upcoming races and events. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just getting started in the sport the Temecula Running Center is a valuable resource and I highly recommend them.

I checked this place out as I needed new running shoes and saw the positive reviews about it in here. I’ve played soccer all my life and am in the military so running has been a part of me since I can remember. That said, I know nothing about actually running. When I’ve needed shoes, I’ve simply picked up a pair that was the right size and looked decent. After my current shoes had seen enough, along with some lower back pain, I decided to go to a real running store. This place did not disappoint. Nothing but running stuff, no other sport stuff. I was quickly greeted and helped by Barb. She looked like a runner and asked all sorts if questions about what kind if shoes I was looking for. I did the video analysis with her, took less than a minute to complete. Some reviewers have kinda shit down the idea of being as to analyze run movement with a quick video tape but I instantly saw my running problem once she slowed down the video. I over pronate. Barb asked how many times ac week I ran and how far. Based on my answer she selected four shoes, all in the $ 110 range. While it was more than I was used to paying for shoes, I buy them in base, I also realize you get what you pay for in athletic shoes, and there were shoes there upwards of $ 200. I tried the shoes on and Barb helped me nail it down to one pair, Mizuno Inspire 10. I didn’t even know Mizuno made running shoes. Barb said they make excellent shoes, and while she was putting the other shoes away I did a quick review search. Sure enough, Mizuno got excellent reviews from various sites. Really impressed with the selection and knowledge base. Even better is that it’s a local store. Would recommend to anyone looking fur running shoes.

After purchasing shoes from area discount stores for years, I decided to try the running center. All I can say is wow!!! The sales staff wouldn’t let me purchase a pair of shoes until they knew all about my goals and the number of days I ran per week. After explaining some of the nagging injuries I’ve encountered through the years, I tried a pair on and the sales person analyzed my running form and found that I was pronating outward. The shoes I purchased fit like a glove and I couldn’t be more pleased! I have sent two other people who have experienced the same level of service and professionalism.

Great store that carries a good selection of running shoes and apparel with excellent customer service. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They have even special ordered a few items for me.

When I first moved into the area and began seeking a store for running shoes and gear, I found the Running Center in Temecula. I like the personal customer service and the fact that they remember my shoe size and favorite brands whenever I come in. I also like their frequent discounts, sales, and promotions.
But the thing that I appreciate the most is all that they give back to the running community. Every Thursday night they sponsor a fun run from the store. Runners of all levels of experience and ability show up for a social run. Fun runners get special discounts and offers, prizes, and opportunities for contests, and other treats.
It is a very welcoming environment and I have sent many friends who have been impressed and well served whether they are just starting out or are accomplished athletes.
