Hired Ruff & Ready for a move from Murrieta to Laguna Niguel. Approx. 2 bedroom apartment worth of furniture and boxes. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to keep a rapid pace loading the truck. I was happy I had some Monsters and Gatorade on hand for them to enjoy as their demeanor and professionalism was appreciated. In a blink they had blankets and stretch film wrapped around everything and away they went.
They drove safely over Ortega Highway and once we arrive at the destination they utilized the elevator efficiently to offload to my place on the 6^th floor. They communicated often when they had questions and offered assistance whenever appropriate as we began unpacking. Everything was handled with care and nothing was dinged, dented or scratched on accident which can be expected in this business no matter how careful one tries to be.

We were so pleased with the move Ruff & Ready did for us. Not only were they on time, but the sweetest guys came all willing and able to do the best job we’ve ever experienced with moving and this included a piano and a refrigerator. They were careful, efficient and had all the necessary gear ready for anything. One of the moves included moving our storage units to a new facility. We were so afraid that it wouldn’t all fit in the new unit. They listened to where we needed everything to go because we had it all departmentalized. They went out of their way to put it all in correctly and then even double checked. I wouldn’t hesitate one moment in recommending them.

I cant actually review there «moving» or «packing» because i didnt end up using them but they were late to there estimate meeting and then when i got the estimate it was way over what i was quoted and super expensive. i was shocked. the guys that came were nice though.

Everyone I’ve dealt with, from owner, John, to the moving crew of Justin, Matt, and Travis have been absolute professionals. The moving crew was both efficient and careful — wrapping all the furniture and other items over and above what I would expect.
We had to pick up items from a second location prior to our end destination and R&R threw the stop in at no extra cost.
My wife and I were very pleased and will be recommending them to our friends and relatives in the future. Thanks, Ruff and Ready.

Ruff & Ready Moving did a great job at a great price, I wouldn’t hesitate using them again. One thing that stood out, they were not only professional but all the guys seemed to enjoy working together. It ran a little later than anticipated so we even bought dinner for them. Great group of guys.

Jesse and Keith saved the day! These two guys worked efficiently and quickly making sure everything was secure and protected. We could have never fit as much as they did into our POD storages! Without them we would STILL be there trying to load everything in! They truly are experts at what they do! Looking forward to have them back in a few months to unload after our new home is built. Definitely recommend!

I moved from Perris area to Canyon hill/​Lake Elsinore with a full size truck load. Overall it was an 8 hour day between carefully loading and unloading. They took their time to cover all of the furniture which takes up a bit of the time. If you are looking for cheap and careless these aren’t your guys. If you want careful, caring and affordable, Call them up you wont be disappointed!

This mover was my worst move ever. One of their employees quit in the middle of my move. The other two fought with another moving company that was at my complex moving someone else. They charged me twice as much as I thought I was paying, because it was six hours longer to move than anticipated. I didn’t finish with them until 2am. We started at 11am. At the end of the move, one of the workers started talking about staying to party… omg…it was awful. I would never use this company again.

In the past I have had some bad experiences with movers; but not so with Ruff and Ready Moving! When we moved Orange County to Fallbrook, not only was the price right, but the customer service and movers were amazing. One of the movers called in sick and the owner, John, personally called me to let me know what was happening and that there was going to be a delay as they had to find another mover. When the movers got there, they were fast and efficient! They moved my entire 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, with a garage full of stuff (we also had my daughter and son-​in-​laws studio apartment in our garage) to Fallbrook in a total of 8 hours — that’s loading, drivetime and unloading! They even made a side trip to pick up a treadmill I purchased from a friend. I would HIGHLY recommend Ruff & Ready and I only wish they could move me to Florida as that is our next move!

Ruff n Ready truly delivered professional, courteous, and exceptional service. They went above and beyond. Athough I was over an hour late they still accommodated all my needs. They were skilled and came prepared to efficiently unloaded the U-​haul. They set up all my furniture and bed so that I was able sleep on my bed after driving a 17′ U-​haul for over 3 hours with a 3 year old. Lastly, I want to thank the movers for being so kind to my son and I and not rushing us as we arrived an hour late and it was after 8pm before I was all moved in and they still insisted on helping me set up all my furniture and bed. As a single mother with a young child I can’t thank these guys enough for their compassion and outstanding service.

We were moving out of town so we hired Ruff & Ready Moving to load only our truck as we would have movers in our new city unload. John, the owner, was courteous on the phone and gave me a very fair price. I’ve had other movers in the past who were shall we say… shady looking? (Haven’t I seen you on America’s Most Wanted?) Not today! The movers, Matt & Garrett, showed up and were extremely prompt, clean cut and super POLITE. I’ve never had two movers work so hard as these guys despite the 99 degree heat. They were careful, precise, wrapped all our furniture better than I could have wished for and loaded the truck to the rim like true professionals.
I don’t write Unilocal reviews but was so impressed that I felt the need to do just that. I would highly recommend Ruff & Ready Movers and specifically Matt & Garrett. Great experience… If my unloaders on the other end are HALF as good as these guys all will be good.

My wife and I hired John and his team from Ruff & Ready Moving to move from our apartment into our house. It was rather short notice, but John was very courteous on the phone and provided us with an estimate and what to expect (2 guys, not their biggest truck, approx 8 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment with a garage full of stuff) as well as advising us to box up pretty much everything, especially the little clutter, as that would take up most of the time. Done, you’re hired!
The next day John’s guys showed up on time. Really nice guys, and they started immediately getting the stuff we had already boxed. Soon it became clear that two guys are not enough, so John sent a third guy, and all of them started hauling away, also disassembling furniture. It took them pretty much the entire day to get everything from the apartment (on the second floor) onto their truck and to our house’s garage, respectively into the right rooms and setting up the furniture there.
Call these guys — they’re worth their money!

I had a great experience with my movers! The owner is quick to answer questions and return phone calls and his workers were punctual and polite. I found the prices to be fair and would definitely use this company again and/​or recommend them to friends and family!
