Description

Specialties

The Simply Settled process begins at the initial consult where a relative (typically an adult child) or friend is trying to convince their elderly parent or aging senior that it’s time to sell the home and move into an independent living or assisted living community. Then, we help sort through the assets, dispose of the throw-away items, move the storage components to storage, and move the furniture to the next living location… as well as fix up the house for sale with repairs and then sell the house and complete the move. We get NO payment until the senior is moved and the house is sold.

History

Established in 2013.

Simply Settled was founded by Catherine and Dean Jones after almost 10 years of caring for Catherines mother, Inez. After the passing of her husband, Inez was no longer able to remain in the home they shared for 40 years and moved in with Catherine and Dean. They used their resources to fix up the home, the sale of which helped Inez augment her social security benefits, providing her with financial support for the years to come. As Inezs caregivers, finding the right resources such as, elder care, support, as well as other services was not easy. Catherine and Dean understand the challenges and relationship dynamics that arise when caring for an elderly parent and are now leveraging their own experience to help others make what is often a very difficult period, easier on families and their loved ones.
