My Tech Tire and Automotive

Jeff is a very honest person. I have known him for almost 20 years since he fixed my astro van. I took the van to the dealership 3 times and they couldn’t figure out why I would lose smooth acceleration sometimes getting on the freeway. Jeff spent alot of time on it and figured out it was a worn bushing on the distributor. Thanks Jeff. If there are any complaints, they are either scammers or competition. Or even just a stupid person, lots of those around too.

I love taking my car to My Tech! I brought my car in just to have it looked at because I didn’t want any surprise repairs as I have over 100k miles on it. I made an appointment and showed up a couple of minutes late. No problem! They got me in immediately. I ran next door to get some lunch and was gone about an hour. My car was ready to go when I got back. They made some suggestions on maintenance stuff but I never felt pressed to do the work or spend a lot of money. I HIGHLY recommend My Tech for all your automotive needs. They are professional, reasonable, and above all HONEST! Good job guys, I will be back.

I took my car to My Tech Tire and Automotive on Oct 10^th. After multiple calls to them i began to worry when if ever they were going to fix my car. I also brought them parts so they could do work. I have a family of 4 and we were sharing 1 car for over a week. This made things very difficult. On the 19^th i called yet again into My Tech Tire and Automotive just to have the front desk clerk tell me, «i think we have your parts in, and i think we’re going to work on in today». «Call me back this afternoon». This was one of the most rediculous places ive ever had to deal with. I then go down there in person, cause i believe if i did not; i would still be getting the run-​around. I go there and the manager tells me, «your car is like a puzzle, and some of the pieces aren’t fitting together». I dont appreciate beong talked to like that. I had to ask things like. «Do you have the ability to work on my car»? «Do you want to work on my car»? Why should i have to ask a place full of mechanics if they want to do work after over 9 days of having my car. «What is the status of my car, and what is my bill, i asked cause over the phone on the 19^th i didnt get a straight answer. This should be very simple. 1 item was corrected at this point. Over 9 days and 1 item corrected, but it didnt stop there. I had to bring parts from my house to go back on my car with multiple trips. Im told by the manager the car will be done that day. I needed them to do the work so that i didnt have to tow the vehicle some place else and then start all over again. I told him to just do the work, but do not touch my power steering leek. That work is going to be done by someone else. The estimate that i was given for all the work including the power steering leek was $ 580. I know there can be some additions, but we should be around that number. The one good thing i can say is that after being upset they actually got the car done and i was given a call to pick it up. I could not that day cause i was walking to my job that was overe 4 miles away. I go to them the next morning and now my bill is $ 728 and some change. The manager tells me he wasn’t sure if i said work on the power steering leek or not so he did that for free. I said i specifically told you not to touch that cause you’ve procrastinated with my car. He asked me what i thought my bill should be. I said around $ 500 bucks, cause thats what my estimate was and i wanted less work done to that and other work was done in its place. So we should be around the same number. He tells me things like, «all you want is a cheaper bill, you brought me some cheap part from China and power steering fluid went everywhere, you dont care and respect the work we do.» News flash here guy. When a car has a power steering leek; there might be a mess. Im the customer, so you do work and i pay you for the work. Its been a long time since ive been treated this bad at a place. He says, «charge this guy $ 500 bucks and get him out of here». At this point all i hope is that my car is running and i can drive away. I was dropped off and didnt fell like making another 5 mile hike back to my house. Im a Marine Vet so im used to taking walks, but this was getting ridiculous. I handed the clerk my debit card by mistake. $ 500 can not be charged he said, «it didnt go through.» i handed him my credit card and paid my $ 500 bill. The problem there is that My Tech Tire and Automotive charged both. So now they charged $ 872.79. And there is $ 0.00 in my bank account. The debit cransaction sent through the following day of 21 Oct, 2015. I call My Tech Tire and Automotive and they tell me if i can show proof that they charged me they will refund the card. I go down there yet again. I show the manager on my phone which I’ve pulled up my online banking information and show very clearly a debit of $ 372.79 from my account to My Tech Tire and Automotive. He tries yet again to manipulate me into believing with the use of his check out sheet from the night before that there was no charge to my debit card. I had to go to my bank and file for fraud do to the fact i paid my bill through other means. Ive given this situation more thought than i care to admit and this is the first review ive ever done. I reported this to the Better Business Bureaus and ive given the manager one last call to see if he would refund my card the $ 372.79. He did not. Now its the 28 Oct, 2015 and the belt on my car is screeming every time i start my car and i still have a power steering leak going on my driveway. Do yourself a favor and never i repeate never take any vehicle to My Tech Tire and Automotive.

The customer service here is awesome. They are fast, efficient and go above and beyond for their customers.

Jeff is a good guy and even though he was extremely busy the day that I brought my 2000 GMC Sierra in for some preventive maintenance, he was extremely professional and repaired my truck accordingly and in a short amount of time. Good company!

My tech is the best shop in Temecula valley hands down. Great prices with even better service. Skilled techs will make sure your car gets fixed right. I will for sure be using them for a long time to come.

We have been bringing our vehicles here for a few trips now and Jeff and Mark have been very attentive to all our repair and maintenance needs. Recently we thought we may have had a potentially major problem with out Toyota 4Runner stuttering upon acceleration, but upon inspection they determined it was only in need of a much overdue tuneup– and not a tranny issue. This potentially saved us a lot of $$ and is a good example of the professional honesty we have come to appreciate from the guys at My Tech Auto.
As a side note, after our repair we noticed a high idle and our check engine light came on (not the kind of thing you want to see after having having work done) however, once Jeff was made aware of this he brought it right in and quickly determined a vaccine hose had come loose. He took care of it and we were back on the road again in no time.

I must also chime in here… This place is awesome. Fair prices for excellent work. They handled my 68 El Camino repair to my utmost satisfaction. Kudos to Mark, Jeff and the entire crew.

These guys are awesome. I have a Suzuki XL7 and they’ve done my brakes, belts, shocks. Prices are reasonable and they’ll get you in and out quickly. All my future vehicles will be done by Mark and his crew!

So far So Good.

The guys at MyTech are awesome! My family and I have been taking our cars here for years now. They do not jip us and their prices are great! I know it can get expensive when it comes to car repairs, but here (especially if you’re a woman), you can expect that the price you are paying is what you should be paying!
