Great, fast service. I was notified that I needed a smog cert at the local AAA. Calling, making the appointment, getting the smog check and returning to the AAA only took about 35 minutes. Great price, no bs.

They close at 5 and when I arrived at 4:51 for a smog test they said sure, no problem. I was in and out of there really fast, very impressed. The lady that works the front desk was kind too. I was expecting her to be annoyed since I arrived just before closing but it was quite the opposite. This is where I tell people to go now.

They tried cleaning my lights too but they were scratched and couldn’t be polished. They spent a while trying and didn’t charge me a dime for it!

We have been going here for years. They have always taken care of our needs and been friendly doing it. Most of the time the bill is less than quoted and they are great about not doing things that don’t need done. They will let me know something should be watched but doesn’t need done right away. I know when I come here that honesty and great work prevails. I’ve already recommended them to my friends! My daughter lived in another state and had a problem that kept draining her battery. They fixed the problem and recommended a new battery. I told them I was going to get it at Walmart so it would be warrantied when she went back, and when I picked up the car, they had a printout of the battery I needed from Walmart so I got the right one when I got there. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I paid $ 48 for a smog test. Friendly receptionist and they provided quick service (about 25 mins). I went on a Monday during 4pm and there was absolutely no wait. I would recommend this place!

We have actually had nothing but good experiences here. I saw the remark, and thought it was really unfair. One of my examples to rebut this is we had our Ford Focus break down in San Diego. This place we used to go to in San Diego told us that when the rods go out, things happen and we needed to probably replace the engine which would be 3k plus!!! We took our car to Golden State, because they have been fair and honest with us to date, and they were only going to charge us about $ 300 to fix it!!! We did more work as preventive care, but OUR CHOICE, and spent less than $ 600!
