I came into this establishment and definitely did not appreciate how the counter clerk spoke to me so harshley. I merely asked him how much does it cost to get tires mounted and balanced he repiled annoyingly and barked that they are swamped, and I should come back at another time. He slowly walked out and witnessed him speak to some other customer with a consideriably higher level of courtesy smh. I really cant believe the level of disrespect I experienced, I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.

I have been here 4 times. I have always received excellent service and repair. Their prices are good and would rather work with this family business than a national chain.
Everything gets fixed right first time.

I moved to Temecula just under 3 years ago and needed to find a good mechanic for repairs. Was told about Bird Family and gave them a try. Let me tell you, they are awesome. Honest, very fair prices and treat you like they have known you for years. Took one of my vehicles in and they spent about 45 minutes diagnosing the problem, and did I not charge me a dime. I would not go anywhere else for auto service other than Bird Family.

Just got back from Bird Auto again. Zero charge. They rotated the tires and added something (sorry LOL I know I am being very technical) to the power steering fluid.
No charge. I repeat NO charge. They are always very helpful and do not rip you off. I totally recommend Nick, Jimmy and the guys in the back. These are the best mechanics in the area

I can’t say enough about the genuine kindness and awesome customer service at this place. I recently moved from Temecula to Los Angeles. If I need tires, a wheel bearing or an oil change I’ll make the drive down from Los Angeles to get my car worked on at Bird Family Tire and Auto. The prices are not only fair, they are extremely competitive. I never feel like I’m getting ripped off or like somebody is trying to sell me something I don’t need; the type of place you want to give your business too. I was on my way down from San Francisco to spend a week in Southern California deserts when I noticed that my new Awesome Mid-​Life Crisis Mobile (a.k.a. Jeep Wrangler) made some suspicious noises. I stopped by at Bird’s, where one of the mechanics (Chris?) quickly figured out the problem, explained the few choices for fixing it and then fixed it.
I was out of there in less than an hour and they did not even charge anything for the quick fix (I guess paperwork was more bother than the small fee warranted). Great service, and not just because it was free! I would have happily paid full price and then some.

We purchased 4 new tires in November and had a GREAT experience from the first phone call to the actual day we took our Suburban in for service

I have brought my car to this place since we moved to Temecula. The guys here are great; they are so helpful. My husband brought my car in with a blown tire, and they were not hesitant to help us in any way they could. I always recommend this place to my friends.

Heard a horrible sound in my left rear brake. Brought it in (after reading previous Unilocal reviews and having Bird Family Tire and Auto referred to me by two women friends who were also their customers). Bird said they would look at it and get back to me. I expected the worst… and that it would probably be expensive to repair.
Well, within the hour, they called: Bird test drove my car, heard the same sound, jacked up my car and pulled the wheels off to find the problem. They found a piece of plastic had lodged in the brake housing and pulled it out; re-​test drove it – no more sound. When I went to pick it up, they charged me nothing for this!
[I also asked them to tell me how many more miles I had on my tires and brakes. They said both my brakes and tires were still in good condition… and didn’t need any work done on them.]
They were honest and fast… their integrity won me over for life.

A member from my church has been referring the single mom to this shop for a few months. I need a tune up and took my car for a quote. They try to over charge me on so many things like 50.00 for sparks plugs. when they only cost 2.99 each.

I can not say enough nice things about Bird Family Auto. I first brought my RV to them, and they couldn’t have been more fair. The work came in WAY under what I was expecting. I have since sent both of my kids to them for repairs. Always fair, honest and no price gouging! I was actually referred by my Sister who has been taking her cars there for years. When I mention them to people, I often hear that they already know about them and have heard good things, or go to Bird themselves. They have a great name in this town!

Bird Family Tire and Auto is awesome! They are courteous, affordable and reliable. As a women I have always been leery about taking my car in to other places to get work done on it. NOT at Bird Family Tire and Auto! I feel comfortable with Jim and I trust him completely. I know he is not going to tell me my car needs repairs unless it really does. I also know he will give me the best price for the work that’s being done.
I won’t take my car anywhere else!

I discovered Bird Family Tire & Auto thru Unilocal and came here on 3÷26÷12 to get a second opinion after my 2002 Camry failed to pass a smog test. I was able to save over $ 400 by having Bird Family Tire and Auto replace my catalytic converter instead of the place that did my smog test. I was so grateful I promised them I would write a review… sorry it took almost 2 years to make good on my promise… I trust them to do a great job for a fair price.

Jim and the staff were amazing they helped me when I was really down and out! I needed two used tires because I’m currently unemployed so I couldn’t afford new ones instead of turning me away because I didn’t have much money he cared more about my well being and safety and worked with me and got me into some tired that looked brand new!!! It’s comforting to someone like me to know that people like Bird Family Tire still genuinely care for not just there customers but people in general thank you Jim from the bottom of my heart what you did for me was not a small thing and I still got treated with the same dignity and respect as someone who could afford the services at Bird I recommend these guys hands down I will be back!!!

I just moved to Temecula and I am still learning about the area. I picked this shop based on the Unilocal reviews. Seemed positive so I called them up. I was ready to leave work in Moreno Valley and go home so I called them up and asked if they could get me in for an alignment this afternoon. He asked what kind of vehicle and I told him a toyota tundra. He quoted me a reasonable price and told me to come over.
When I got there he started asking me normal shop questions, but when I told him I had a 2013 Toyota Tundra he stopped me and said that they cant align the 2013’s. I didn’t understand and asked for clarification. He said that he doesn’t have the 2013 stuff for his equipment so he cant do a 2013.
There are two problems here with this shop:
First, if you can’t do MY2013 vehicles, then why didn’t you ask what year my truck was on the phone before you had me go out of my way and drive down there???
Second, it’s August 2013! The MY2013 cars have been out for almost a year. Shouldn’t your equipment be able to handle a MY2013???
Ok, I will refrain from speculating on possible scenarios here and just leave you with the facts and two of my opinions. I will be trying out a different local shop tomorrow.
I can not recommend this shop to anyone.

Bird Family Tire is the Best Mechanic Place in Town… PERIOD!!! They were busy when I walked in, but were working on my Jeep with-​in 15 minutes. They operate like a finely tuned swiss watch, could’t be more impressed.
