Carlos is a master at what he does. The work is beautiful, professional, clean, fast, responsive, helpful, perfect, down to the last details. What they charge is unbelievably reasonable for the amount of work they do and the end product. I wish they did other kinds of work too because I would hire them to do anything/​everything I needed done.
Think of Carlos as more of a partner in your project than just a guy doing your ceilings. He saved my bacon in some really critical and important ways, by pointing out some things that I did not see involving other aspects of the house, and making some recommendations that saved me big time $$$.
Oh — and a shout out to Danelle, their office manager. She’s a gem too! These guys just made my whole experience easy peasy from start to finish.

After replacing my kitchen counters I decided I just HAD to update the ceiling lights. I contacted several companies and they said they would remove my previous old fluorescent tube lights and install recessed lights, but they wouldn’t repair the drywall. Then I found Final Touch Ceilings. Carlos is such a nice guy and he and Mike were punctual and very professional. This is a list of the things they did:
1. Removed and disposed of the old lights
2. Installed 5 recessed lights in my kitchen
3. Repaired the drywall where the old light was
4. Scraped the popcorn ceiling in the kitchen/​dining room
5. Painted the ceiling
6. Installed 2 recessed lights in my two bathrooms
7. Installed 2 ceiling lights in the bedrooms
8. Installed 2 ceiling lights with fans in my other 2 bedrooms
He was also kind enough to complete a couple of jobs we threw at him that weren’t in the original invoice.
He came before 8 a.m. and was done by 4 p.m. His prices were very reasonable and definitely cheaper than anyone else I talked to. He listened to all my needs and was very accommodating. I will definitely call him again for future jobs and would strongly recommend him to any of my friends. If you’re reading this, THANKS SO MUCH CARLOS!!!

Carlos and his crew were wonderful! We had a total of 52 lights and 7 ceiling fans installed. Very clean and efficient. Would definitely call them if I needed electrical work done again. He was on time every day — we were a 3 day job. Clean and awesome!!! His office assistant, Danelle was very easy to work with also. You won’t be sorry if you use them.

Carlos is the best. His team removed the popcorn ceiling, retextured, painted and installed recessed lighting in two rooms and installed a ceiling fan. The ceiling fan we purchased was defective and we had to exchange it. Carlos came back and reinstalled the new fan at no extra cost to us. All the work looks great and would highly recommend his company.

Carlos and Mike are great. They are very professional and excellent at what they do. It’s hard to find «clean» contractors. These guys clean up after themselves and take their shoes off when they enter your house. I’ve used them a few times and with each job they impress me more. I would highly recommend them.

We are fairly new to So. CA so it was a pleasant surprise to deal with a contractor who delivered professional, quality service at a very competitive price. Our normal experience has been to pay more and get less. This experience was the exception!

It’s in your best interest to use Final Touch Ceilings for your home. They are professional from start to end. Once you place a call for a quote, they will call you back without you having to make repeat calls. They will set an appointment and will arrive on time as discussed. They will provide an itemized quote on the spot and will rapidly provide a start date for your work to be completed! Trust me, I retrieved many quotes but only Final Touch earned my business through their professionalism, honesty and fair pricing. FYI, drywall plastering is included in your electrical quote.

I screened at least eight different electricians to install 22 recessed lights in my new house, which has vaulted ceilings. Two guys never even bothered to call me back to submit a bid after they came to my house to take notes. This company was professional from beginning to end. Carlos, I can’t say enough about him. Not only is he honest and likable, but he did a great job with my house. He even did some small things that I thought he would charge me for, but didn’t. Pricing was very competitive. Trust me, I talked to a lot of electricians. He finished my house in less than a day-​and-​a-​half (22 recessed lights, 6 ceiling fans, 2 pendants, 7 dimmers and more). They are very thorough in covering everything up before they start and cleaning after they’re done. Finding a good electrician is like finding a good mechanic, so the process of finding one wasn’t fun but it was all worth it in the end. Trust me, Carlos is the man! I’m forever his customer.

We hired Carlos to install 10 additional recessed lights and three ceiling fans in our new home. He was quick, efficient, neat (very neat) and his work was excellent. We couldn’t be more pleased with the result. He is a gentleman as well and his wife who runs the office was very nice and easy to deal with. His prices were much more reasonable then our regular electrician. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

We found Carlos and Mike from Final Touch Ceilings through an ad for popcorn/​acoustic ceiling removal, and what a lucky discovery that was! They are a hardworking team, very professional, honest, and accommodating. They did an exceptional job on our ceilings, drywall repair, and extensive electrical work for LED recessed lighting with new dimmer switches. They also removed some old kitchen lighting and chandeliers in the dining and family rooms. Carlos and Mike are expert craftsmen who sincerely care about the quality of their work. We called Carlos for an estimate on acoustic ceiling removal (no asbestos) and drywall repair (including a water damaged ceiling). We also discussed installing recessed lighting throughout our (1800 sq ft) house with Carlos, and he offered several excellent ideas. We shopped around, compared prices, and decided to go with Final Touch Ceilings. Not only was their price very good, but we also chose them because Carlos was such a good communicator and it was obvious that he knew his business. He listened carefully to what we wanted, offered some suggestions, and truly seemed to care about quality work and his customer’s satisfaction. The end result was even better than we imagined. We asked for smooth ceilings with flat white paint and we got exactly what we wanted… they look flawless! The recessed LED lights are bright white with attractive dimmer switches throughout the house, and we included four special spotlights that focus on artwork. We love the new modern lighting and the ability to control the brightness. I don’t know how Carlos could remain cheerful after working on the wiring in our hot attic on such sweltering days, but he and Mike were always pleasant and personable.
Everyone we talked with at Final Touch Ceilings was thoughtful, courteous, and reliable. Carlos and Mike always arrived on time, they were responsible, and they finished the job even earlier than projected (how often does that happen?!). They were very neat and covered everything with plastic while they worked. They were careful to protect our furniture, and also clean up any mess so that each day the house looked neat when they were finished. They went over and above what was expected of them, and even included some extra drywall repairs. They worked long hours, and each day when we came home the house looked more and more amazing. When they were finished our house looked modern and new! We were stunned by the transformation! It was a pleasure to work with the superb team of Carlos, Mike, and Danelle (in the office), and we highly recommend Final Touch Ceilings. In a five-​star rating system, we would like to give them ten!

Just had a job completed by Final Touch Ceiling. Which consisted of repairing and texturing my entire ceiling and painting, drywall & textured a wall in master bedroom
& replacing existing fluorescent light in kitchen with 5 can lights.

Carlos is awesome!!!
We hired him to install recessed lights in our front entry, kitchen, dining room, family room, master bedroom and walk in closet. I was amazed on how much prep work was done for the installation. They literally laid plastic down over everything and when they were done it looked like they were never here.
After about a month the lights in the master bedroom had a slight flicker to them and I called Carlos. He came out the next evening and replaced all eight of the recessed lights with new ones and fixed the issue for no charge. You will not find anyone that is more professional, curious or timely then Carlos. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor to install recessed lighting.

Carlos is amazing!!! My friend referred me and had good things to say about Carlos. Consistent with other reviews Carlos is very honest, on time to provide estimate and to do the actual work. Listens to your requirements and provides good recommendations (not with an intention of making more money). Very happy the installation and love the lights in the house. There was a flickering after couple of days of installation, when reported late in the evening Carlos came early in the morning next day and fixed it. In fact the problem was with old circuit breaker and had nothing to do with his installation. He replaced the circuit breaker for no charge and made sure everything is ok. Thanks Carlos. I highly recommend Carlos.

Final Touch did an excellent job from start to finish removing the popcorn from my ceilings and installing new lighting. Carlos impressed me with his knowledge and suggestions from the first. He and his crew, Mike and Thomas, covered up well, cleaned up afterwards, and did a great job. I liked having a company that could do it all rather than having to hire separate crews for the popcorn and the lighting. Once the touch up paint along the walls dried and we could see that they didn’t quite match, Final Touch didn’t hesitate to correct the issue. I was thoroughly pleased with Carlos and the team and would recommend them.

Just had these guys over to do recessed lighting in 5 rooms. They showed up on time and were very considerate with not leaving a mess. They covered each room with plastic before they started, and also confirmed the positioning of each light in each room. Carlos is a wonderful person and I highly recommend him and his business for any ceiling or drywall needs.

We hired Final Touch to remodel our old popcorn ceiling. Carlos impressed me when he come to do estimate. We do not wear our shoes in the house — everyone wears a pair of slippers and our hardwood floors are mobbed clean every week. The other two contractors we invited to do estimate just walk right in with their dirty boots. Carlos left his boots outside even though I told him that’s fine with us. Very attentive at the first sight!
One of the other two contractor looked at our ceiling and said — the existing recessed light is black trim inside and he will have to replace it to make it consistent with their new ones with white trim. Of course there will be additional charge for that. Carlos, after examine our kitchen and told me that our kitchen is small and the current acoustic ceiling is not exactly at the center of the kitchen, therefore, if we were to keep the recessed area and put crown molding and 4 new recessed lighting’s in it, the whole ceiling will be very cramped. Instead, he suggest us to make the whole kitchen ceiling flush (remove the recessed ceiling) and put the new recessed lights close to the edge. This arrangement will provide more light to the counter. I like people who can speak out on behalf of the project, not on behalf of their own profits.
The estimated prices turned out to be cheaper. Oh, by the way, Carlos can put in the new recessed lighting house in black trim to match our existing recessed lighting. Of course Carlos get our job.
On the appointed date, Carlos showed up on time. When they started taping up and covering everything with plastic cloth, again, they took off their boots! I told them once they finished taping and covering they must wear their boot while working — it’s for their protection. They finished the job quickly and they clean up thoroughly. Our kitchen looked really nice and full of lights now!
In summary, I would wholeheartedly recommend Final Touch since they have clearly demonstrated traits that I appreciated: (1) care for details and (2) true professional suggestions on behalf of the project at hand.

I hired Final Touch to replace my old acoustic (popcorn) ceiling with new texture and to install recessed lighting throughout the house. Carlos and crew did a marvelous job with fantastic results. They arrived on time each day, worked diligently, and at the conclusion of each work day, they cleaned up the house completely. I do not normally do reviews since it takes time out of my day, but I felt compelled to write about my wonderful experience with Final Touch Ceilings. Carlos and his team did a terrific, professional work in patching 2 holes in my family room that I had them install 6 recessed lightings and replace my outdated kitchen lights with 7 additional recessed lights. Carlos and his team arrived promptly and got the work done quick and clean. My house looks amazing after they left and the extra mile that they go to make sure everything is okay the following day.
