My daughter is very, very, anxious when it comes to dentists, but after being recommended to Dr Smith from a friend, we haven’t looked back. The staff were all very patient with her whining and crying until she got comfortable with them.
The office is clean, calm, well-​decorated for kids, and Dr. Smith has earned our trust. The staff is also friendly and do their jobs well. (at least, from our 10 or so visits) Not a single problem yet. We had a little scare with my daughter at one point, where I went and got a second opinion, and in doing so, I was just more sold on Dr. Smith. (Afterwards, I felt a little bad for doubting in the first place, lol) He ended up doing the procedure for us, and everything went perfectly.
My son goes here too, but he’s super young and doesn’t really care.

Took my son here today for a second opinion and come to find out the other dentist totally lied to us and dr smith assured us he didn’t need half the work that the other dentist was recommending and he didn’t need to sedate my 4 year old. I came out of there feeling so relieved :)! The office also has a calming feel and my son jumped right into the chair with no hesitations. I highly recommend dr smith!

The BEST dentist office we’ve ever been to! Dr. Smith and his staff are amazing with children and I would 100% recommend taking your children to this office. My daughter is 5 and loves coming in for her dentist visits. She has had two fillings and she was so comfortable she fell asleep during them! Our appointments have always been on time and everyone that works there never makes you feel rushed. My only regret is that I myself cannot be a patient here!

LOVE this office, I wish they would let me go too! ;) We were recommended by Dr. Rucker from upstairs, and are so glad that we were! I was able to have all 3 of my children ages 2 ½, 9, and 12 seen at the same time, and not a single tear was shed! And, I left with all my hair intact! ;) Felt like a small miracle. None of the kids complained, and they are all willing to go back again, so WIN in my book! Office is beautiful, complete with a movie area, video games, and even prizes for the way out! Staff was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Smith took great care with all three of my kids.

Dr Smith’s office is great I went in search after a bad experience with another office. The staff is great and Dr Smith is wonderful. My boys love going to the dentist now. They look forward to their visits.

Everything about Dr. Smith’s office, from the waiting room to the staff to Dr. Smith himself, is designed to make kids comfortable. On our first visit (my son was 2) Dr. Smith told me that his goal is to make kids enjoy coming to his office. His staff is unbelievably patient and they have never pushed my son outside of his comfort zone. Their strategy is so successful that at 2.5 my son allowed his teeth to be polished without any fuss. I was shocked, and thrilled. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and his team!

After taking our now 7 year old to another Temecula dentist where his idea of a first dental exam was to tip the kids upside down in my lap to look at their teeth, I knew I needed to find a new doctor!
This office is amazing! Every point of contact, from the phone calls and reception, to the hygienists and Dr. Smith himself, is fantastic! My son loves the games in the waiting room and going through the kid-​sized door to the chairs. I took my daughter recently (she was two at the time) and was sure that she wouldn’t let them clean her teeth on the very first visit, but they were all so calming and kind that she jumped right in the chair! The movies in the ceiling are a definite plus too!
I highly recommend this office! I wish I could be a patient too!

Cannot thank Dr. smith and his staff enough. My 4 year old has been to another pediatric dentist in temecula and we just were not very comfortable there. My daughter is one of those kids who is very suspicious of Drs and their «magic tools ». Dr. Smith is the first one who was able to really put her at ease and talk her through the whole process and not scare her. I was literally shocked at how easy her filling appointment went, I was expecting her to feel at least some slight pain and tears, my daughter did not even flinch through the whole procedure ! They work magic there and I couldn’t imagine any other pediatric dentist topping this team.

If you’re looking for the BEST pediatric dentist, look no further! Not enough great things can be said about Dr Smith and his staff! My 3 year old son used to be terrified of going to the dentist, but not anymore! Dr Smith and staff were all so careful with my sons nervousness, and after just one visit, he now gets excited when I tell him we’re going to the dentist! After doing some work on my sons teeth, Dr Smith personally called me at home to check how my son was doing!

Dr. Smith is the most magical dentist in the Temecula/​Murrieta area! He actually managed to save two of the four teeth that were unnecessarily crowned from another dentist. My kid was only three at the time and was terrified thanks to the first dentist (if you can call him that). Dr. Smith made him feel totally comfortable and now he actually looks forward to visiting «that other Dr. with the tiny door for kids «Thank goodness for places like this and dentists like Dr. Smith.

Best pediatric dentist ever. I take all 4 of my kids here and they have all been really well taken care of. Dr. Smith even did my daughters sealants himself to make sure they were done well. Great staff, great place, great doctor.

Best experience for any child to go to the dentist! My daughter had to get a cavity filled and I was worried but they get to watch a private screen movie with ear phones and are totally preoccupied while the dentist is at work. He’s really great the way he speaks to them and treats children. I would highly recommend this dentist!

Our son has been going to Dr. Smith for 2 years now (he just turned 3). The office is fun, receptionist, nurses and Dr. Smith are all very nice and much to my surprise he doesn’t throw a fit before or during his exam. He loves to walk back through the little door and hop right into the chair. He’s usually not intrigued by the TV screen on the ceiling but I imagine he will be very into it at his next visit. Dr. Smith lets him play with the mouth mirror a bit to get comfortable with being there and then he settles right in and allows him to peek around. We’ve now moved south but gladly travel the 45 minutes to keep seeing Dr. Smith and his staff. Scheduling appointments is always a breeze and they have a great team.

Stop searching for a Pediatric Dentist!!! You have found the perfect dentist, staff, and modern office for your children. Everything the other mothers have said about this practicing Dentist is true and then some. Thank you Dr. Smith for choosing Temecula to offer the type of professionalism and desire to run a true dental office for children’s dental health, for mother’s who want the best for their children, and especially for not running it like a profit churning dental nightmare scare factory like the one I unfortunately went to before I found you. Let me just first say that I was super impressed by the entirety of the staff. Friendly, warm and welcoming. The office is equipped with the technology of today; ipads for the kids in the wait room, tv area, and a small arcade table. My kids were amazed.
Two of my kids had horrible experiences at another dentist in the area, and I knew at that moment when they seemed to fear their dentist, that it was time for a change. I called numerous places and was about to brave the drive to Orange County for a more kid friendly dentist, when I read a review about Dr. Smith. I was concerned at first since my children were post preemies and had multiple tooth issues, I needed someone who knew about post-​preemie dental care, someone who was specialized.
Upon calling, I was put at ease by the receptionist. She assured me that we were in good hands and that Dr. Smith is actually the only Board Certified pediatric dentist in the area and he was experienced with post-​preemie and special needs children.
We went in and the kids’ fears were thrown to the wayside. They enjoyed their visit and looks forward to going back! I was amazed. Dr. Smith is not pushy and he has small children of his own so he knows how to talk to them on their level. A few weeks after their first visit, they received a letter from Dr. Smith thanking them for coming in! It was really amazing. The kids loved it! Thank you Dr. Smith!

Read great reviews about Dr. Smith so I decided make an appointment for my 8 y/​o daughter. I just moved to Fallbrook and I have not yet become familiar with the area and ended up getting lost. We were ½ an hour late for the appointment but the staff was very understanding and fit my daughter in anyway.
Dr. Smith was very personable and I appreciated the fact that he spoke directly to my daughter instead of just to me, which made her feel included and better informed about her visit. Overall we had a great experience and left satisfied. To quote my daughter «I really like that Dr. Smith»

This office is so awesome. My kids love coming to the dentist now. We have been to several pediatric dentists in the area and have not been impressed with the care. Dr. Smith is really patient and understanding of the kids needs. My kids feel right at home. The girls here are very friendly and helpful. The coolest things are the arcade games in the waiting room, the tv’s on the ceilings and the cool prize at the end.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful children’s dentist! His staff was kind and professional and truly seemed to care about us. My children did not want to leave their office because they were having so much fun. Their favorite part was the coins they got to use for prizes as they left the office. The doctor was great with my children. I recommend this office to anyone who wants a great experience.

I take my three children here and they love it (including the small door, arcade games and movies in the ceiling)! Dr. Smith and his staff are amazing with children! They were so kind and gental – especially with my son who had to have work done. I was impressed with the staff and the office is beautiful. I’m so glad Temecula has such a wonderful children’s dentist for me to take my family to.
