Ace Hardware

Seems like they’re going out of business. Signs say «clearance event», but feels more like a liquidation. I definitely don’t feel confident that I’m going to find what I need if I go here. Maybe they are NOT going out of business, but it feels that way. That in itself is a problem.

Old Items, and Many items on clearance. Lots of empty shelves, messy and employees don’t seem to care about customer service. Very disappointing. This is my first and last visit to this location.

I came in this morning and I had a really great experience until the check out line. Hey Jodi, lighten up. I’m sorry that my 2 year old wanted to grab all the chips and candy displayed but guess what? She’s 2. I didn’t appreciate the nasty looks you gave me, and the lack of a «thank you» or «have a nice day». Kids will be kids. If you have any, you have been in my place. Sorry we ruined your morning. Don’t worry, we won’t be back.

They have good service. Its a little small and dont have everything like hanks hardware. If you are looking for something simple and quick this is the place to go to.

Not a happy camper. The Temecula store refuses to accept manufacturer coupons.

I cannot comment on the customer service, as I arrived at 5:45 on a weeknight (you know, after work), two weeks before Christmas, and found that the hours have changed to 9 – 5 Tuesday — Saturday. I’m not sure how the hardware store will fare, but the small uniform store inside this location will cease to be profitable; these hours don’t allow your target market to shop. I would highly recommend adjusting your hours of operation so that people who have jobs are able to patronize your business.

I was in the Temecula Hwy 79 Ace Hardware Store yesterday trying to get just the right RED color paint for our home office. I was so impressed with the ability, knowledge and precision and most of all the patience the employees had with me. I appreciated the time they took to make me happy. They were able to mix the color just the way I wanted. It was a unique color and with their math and know how… my walls look great. It is so refreshing to go to a store and get superior customer service along with a military discount. Thank you for hiring people who care.

Friendly staff, reminiscent on the neighborhood hardware stores of the past. Best hardware selection. I always try to give them my business first.

This place may not have the variety that the big box home improvement stores have; but they make up for it with their customer service. As soon as I walk in the door, an employee is there to acknowledge my presence and ask if I need help finding something. All of the employees are professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am a member of their Ace Rewards program. Anytime I need paint or some sort of obscure home improvement item, I prefer to get it here. Their prices are competitive and if you find a lower price on a product, they will price match. If you can get your hands on their ad, you will notice they have some great sales on quality products.

Ace really is the helpful place!
Here is a quick story of the last time I went there I went there for one ¾ to ¾ connector to fix my sprinkler. I asked the lady to point me in the right direction. Instead she walked me back there and took all the time in the world to help me find anything I might need! I also thought I was going to get a T and another sprinkler but decided that for now all my yard needed was a connector.
When I went to pay the same lady was my cashier; the total was only 31 cents. I hesitated and asked if they would use a debit card for something so small? The lady helping me said that yes they do and when I hesitated and said I would see if I had change in my truck she quickly took change out of her pocket and paid for the part.
Home Depot has more stuff but to me small things like this keep me going back.

I love this place. It’s small and things are easy to find. We dropped in on a weekend just to get some keys copied. Unfortunately, the lady helping us could only copy three out of the six my husband asked for. $ 6 later we were out the door, but not after half an hour of waiting.
We’ll be back, but probably only if Home Depot goes up in flames.
