Good food. Cold beer
Only thing I did not care for was it is a smoking place and the smoke mad me sick. And it is hot in this place. Needs to update website to current prices.

Great hamburgers! Friendly atmosphere and the right group of friends made this a good experience.

Had hamburgs. Food was cold; not even close to «mouthwatering» as other reviewer described. Several flies in restaurant. Order of fries was chinsy (and that’s being generous). Only saw waitress when we ordered. Would never go back.

A quick thank you to the owner of this joint for helping us out with firewood on our way to Apache Pass to do some camping. Will be coming back here to try the actual food, but from the reviews I read it seems like you can’t go wrong!

Stopped in based on others reviews. I have driven by for three years and didn’t know this place was a restaurant. I should have arrived earlier. The chicken fried steak was gone! I had the chicken fried chicken and was not disappointed! Everything was hot and fresh. Definitely a place I’ll bring my east coast friends so they can experience small town Texas.

Food is always excellent! Have been there many times on weekends and food is always delicious. Service is great and quick also for home cooked food. Reasonably priced as well for all meals.
Rustic setting is perfect for Taylor community. Enjoyable experience all the time!

This is a true small town place, don’t look too hard around the place, just enjoy the rustic feel of it.

If 2 $ Ice Cold Beer and Ridiculously Mouthwatering Burgers are two of your favorite things, and even if there not, then you need to make the trip out to Circleville General Store… They seriously have a little something for everyone! Nestled in between two small towns just east of IH 35 its recently been taken over by a Super Friendly Husband/​Wife team and after just a short year or so they have managed to really make a name for their themselves. They recently updated and enlarged the outside back area of the store to accommodate large crowds for live Texas Country Music on the weekends and from what I understand still plan on making many more improvements! Check them out on Facebook for their music line up or just go grab a beer and a burger and check things out for yourself!

Another little country store with a grill. The burger here are fresh, homemade and delicious. If you want to step back in time about 40 years, stop in, you be shocked at how this place has made time stand still.

The people I’m working with took me here, once again another great place that only serves food until they run out.
Circleville is a combination beer, bait, ammo, hardware, hamburger and steak hole in the wall you’ve probablly never ever heard off. Make sure you go here for a great burger and enjoy the conversation of people around you.
What a great place to eat lunch

Located just north of Taylor, Tx on Highway 95 in the no stop sign town of Circleville.
This is the quintessential beer, bait, ammo, hardware, hamburger, grocery, and steak hole in the wall. In existence for over 100 years they cater to every good ol boy around.
Some of the best burgers, fries, and ribeyes in the area. Grab an chair with the local farmers and order a burger so you can taste the history. It’s a place where they probably haven’t cleaned the grill in a while and you don’t want them to.
BBQ is served everyday. Burgers, Steaks and the rest of the menu is only served on Friday (lunch & dinner) and Saturday (lunch only I think).
If you’re on a best hamburger tour, you’ll want to stop in.
