Great people to do business with took care of my son and I as if we were family top notch dive guide named Andrew that really helped us in and out of the water we were nervous seeing as this was my sons first dives after being certified and he made us feel very comfortable in and out of the water also great captain named Chris that got to and from the sites and was very helpful as well TOP NOTCH DEFINITELY WOULD USE AGAIN NEXT TIME WE’RE IN THE KEYS thanks guys

Right off the bat when I called to inquire about a dive, Dave was super helpful and accommodating. Dave took me out alone as I was traveling solo. The equipment and boat is in great condition and pricing is similar to other shops but they limit the divers to 6 here! This is my first dive after being certified so I was anxious a bit. We went out to Conch Reef and saw so many fish and lobsters, then out to Hens and Chickens where we saw a sunken barge, manta ray, turtles, etc. I am lucky to have motion sickness so I did get sick off the side of the boat– Dave was super cool and I dived on. We also saw quite a few manowars in the ocean… crazy this time of year.
I would highly recommend this personalized service where you get a relaxed environment and also get to choose where you dive.
I am coming back this summer and will dive here.

Fantastic little outfit this couple is running. We went on a 2 dive trip with them and had an awesome time. As it was the off season and a weekday, we ended up having a private trip. They have a great dive boat. It’s not brand new but it has everything a diver could ever want and got us pretty quickly out to the dive sites. It could fit 8 guests, but Amber said they never take out more than 6. They had a cooler with water and fresh cut up fruit after each dive. And their super cute puppy dog came along too which added to the fun. We dove Eagle’s Wreck which bottoms out at 115′. Then we did the shallow Hen and Chick reef where we saw a sea turtle, sting ray, and nurse shark. They took turns diving with us so we weren’t left to try to figure out the navigation on our own like other local shops do. I can’t say enough great things about AKA. If you want a personalized dive experience where it isn’t crowded and you feel safe, this is the place. We paid a couple bucks more than some of the other places quoted but AKA didn’t price gouge us on gear rental (and the gear was in perfect condition which doesn’t usually happen). That and we weren’t packed on a crowded dive boat. Thanks again for an awesome Keys diving experience! Dan & Rachael

If you want to be one of a dozen people on a big boat with no guide unless you pay extra, go anywhere but here. Don’t be fooled by how small this place is, it is WAY better than any other dive shop in Islamorada! Amber and husband David are so hospitable and surprise surprise, she likes to dive too and will go out with you to help you spot the turtles and rays– can’t say enough good things, would recommend to anyone I know!

If you’re tired of being another number with some of the larger dive charters, try AKA. Dave and his wife Amber are awesome. Their family owned and operated charter will make you never want to go on another big commercial charter again. Imagine the difference between having a private driver vs riding the bus… They treated us like family and they did everything possible to make sure we had the most amazing time. Both are highly knowledgable and just plain fun to be around. I’m looking forward to our next trip with them!
