Dr Ben Ozer is a miracle worker! After spending thousand of dollars on medicated iuis only to see them fail month after month I switched to Dr Ben Ozer from another fertility doctor and after the first iui with her I’m pregnant! I went to her believing I won’t get pregnant without ivf but she definitely worked her magic and priced me wrong! She makes you fell comfortable, relaxed and assured that you are in great hands! She is the best in my eyes!

Dr. Snunit Ben-​Ozer is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She is very passionate about what she does and cares about her patients. Dr. Ben-​Ozer was there every step of the way throughout the whole process of IVF treatments, retrieval, and first trimester of my pregnancy. She has personally called me and checked up on me when I wasn’t feeling well and even opened up her office for me on a Sunday to see me. She is truly the best doctor and I am very grateful and fortunate to have her as my doctor. Dr Ben-​Ozer is so patient, kind and compassionate!!! Exactly what you need when you are going through something so stressful, complex and unknown. Not to mention incredible at what she does!

From our first appointment with Dr. Ben-​Ozer she was thorough and answered our questions clearly and in way that we always understood and we never felt rushed. Her humanity and professionalism was also demonstrated by everyone on her team. It felt like family.
We were fortunate enough to get pregnant on the first try, and when we «graduated» to a OBGYN, our departure was emotional and heartfelt, with tears in eyes all the way round. She always offered us any procedure that would increase our chances of success, but we never felt any pressure to do anthing more than we felt was necessary.
In my mind, I felt it was better in the long run to spend an extra $ 50-​$ 200 here and there for the odd extra test or appointment so she had a better «picture» of what’s going on in my body (hormone levels/​if there were any cysts, etc.), so we all felt more confident going into the egg retrieval and embryo transfer. I’d rather give each shot the best it can be, than leave anything up to chance… especially as the Retrival and Transfer are a few thousand dollars each, plus all the emotional upheaval that comes with each various stage of IVF. She gets a very quick picture of what is going on in your body and the plan of action best for you, always giving you all the options and helping you make the best decision together, based on your body and financial situation.
Dr. Ben-​Ozer is always forward thinking and doesn’t leave a stone unturned. I love her precise way of working whilst making you feel like she is caring for you as one of her family.
We could not recommend Dr. Ben-​Ozer more highly and look forward to working with her and her team again for baby number 2.

Where to begin! I’m having TRIPLETS :) Dr Ben Ozer and staff has over exceeded my expectations. My husband and I felt at ease. Felt the humbleness and comfort when we first met her. Alongside a great doctor is a wonderful staff! Judy, Pany, Urcy, Jacob all contributed to these miracles. I have been TTC for about 2.5 years. What a great experience! I heard wonderful things about Dr. Ben-​Ozer from others and I sure was not disappointed. Dr. Ben-​Ozer is a true professional. I’ve been to many Fertility specialist in the past, but none of the others have the compassion and success rate of Dr. Ben-​Ozer.
During the appointment she really took time to get to know me and tell me more about herself. She is funny and honest, and very soon it felt like I was talking to a good friend I’ve known forever. She has gone above and beyond for me and my husband. She has provided us with the most accurate and guided advice. Not to mention every person on her staff is amazing! Going through fertility challenges is frustrating but having people like Dr. Ben-​Ozer, Jacob, Poni, Judy, and Urcie, is a breath of fresh air!
From the moment you walk through the doors of this office, you are greeted with smiling faces, pictures of previous patients with their beautiful families, and an uplifting environment. I am a health fanatic, and extremely picky when it comes to choosing doctors. I wish I found Dr. Ben-​Ozer a couple years ago, and am beyond grateful for her expertise and diligent care. She monitored my pregnancy in detail that I never imagined possible and made me feel so safe. Her attention to every aspect of my life was integrated into the guidance she gave me in pregnancy and she truly never missed a beat when it came to analyzing lab work whether assessing hormones, nutrition, genetics, etc. She was patient, took time to answer all questions and was very present in all of our conversations and consults. I am an anxious patient that most doctors shrug off, but she took the time to address all of my concerns all the while making me feel so calm and confident. She is truly amazing in a way that words can’t describe. Her office staff is extremely organized, warm, flexible, informative and responsive– they are on top of EVERY detail. They have all become like family and though we are thrilled to have «graduated» from the TLC onto the next phase of pregnancy, we will miss our appointments with Dr. Ben-​Ozer very much! We are expecting a baby boy in August and we are just so grateful for this experience.

My initial visit with Dr. ben-​ozer was great except that her staff is NOT professional in any manner at all. My first visit I had, I had blood drawn in «tree of Life» center and Judy who took my blood poked me so many times that she said it was my fault for wearing a tight shirt. I had asked if I should take it off but she insisted it was ok. The following day, my arm was so bruised at the site of the injection, I could not understand why it was so hard to find my blood vessel since I have not had any other problems at any other lab. My next visit I made a comment about preferring someone else draw my blood if needed and they said they didn’t have anyone.
Second issue which is a huge negative in my book… Patients be aware that they do quote clients one amount and charge you for another. At my first visit, the nurses had a rate sheet at their desk which I could see in plain site with pricing and when they asked the «accountant» Jacob, he yelled out from his office and said «I told you to charge HER $ 375». The nurse turned to him and said but the sheet says $ 300 at which point he came out of his office and said no, it’s $ 375. I didn’t say anything since it’s my first visit and I had no idea what was going on internally with the office staff.
Then I had a few IUI’s, again I was quoted one thing then charged a higher rate (weekends are more but not what they had quoted me). My insurance was not accepting any of the visits or procedures but an explanation would have been nice as to why I was being charged differently. Again, I stayed quiet because to me having a positive result with pregnancy was of utmost importance not a $ 50 – 75 overcharge.

When I brought up my concerns finally, I was shut down by Jacob and sent a sheet of paper with my visits and abbreviation of letters… again no explanation when I asked. I decided to seek out another doctor since this office seemed very shady doing business and changing the fees.
Yes, Ben-​Ozer seems knowledgeable and does throw out a lot of abbreviations (do your homework before going in to see her; she’s very short with her responses on what FSH or HSG stands for) on your first visit and knows how to play with your heartstrings to do anything you could do to get pregnant. I am sure it would have been a better experience but I chose to not be taken advantage of.
By the way, my OBGYN gave me this office as a recommendation and do yourself a favor and do at least 3 consultations before jumping in on the first visit. There are many great doctors in LA, SVF which are far better than a small office without a good staff. The staff is just as important to work with the patient as the doctor.
The only reason I am taking time to write such a long Negative review is to also mention that the bloodwork I had done across the street at Pathology Inc., the bloodwork request form which was sent over from the «Tree of Life» center staff gave Pathology center the incorrect information off my insurance card and home address. I found out with a lovely notice from a collections agency since they had sent the invoices to the wrong address. The staff didnt even check the information.

Let’s me start off by saying that Dr. BenOzer is one of the smartest, knowledgeable, sweetest, determined Dr. s I have ever met. Her staff is just as professional and caring as she is. She figures out whats going on with your body within the 1^st to 2^nd visit. She is a very patient and understanding person and wants nothing more than to give people family’s and for that I am truly grateful. my husband and I are expecting our first child in June and owe it all to Dr. BenOzer she is forever part of our family.

I gave her two stars instead of just one because my initial consultation and ultrasound was informative enough for a first visit. Dr. Snunit Benozer lost our business with her frantic, over bearing manner in communicating and lack of professionalism.
She confused me with her attempt at explaining the various tests I needed and time frames they needed to be done. We were unable to get some tests at the time she suggested so I asked her advice as to when we can get the tests during my next cycle, so to speak. Instead of calmly assisting and guiding us, she took a high pressure salesman approach in convincing us that we should have done exactly what she suggested so shame on us! Mind you, it was less than a month of working with her. Fortunately, she revealed her true colors early enough for us to decide she is not the doctor we want to work with.
Dr. Snunit Ben-​Ozer failed to give us a clear road map of exactly what we needed to do. Basically, she was confusing! Her staff is also quite disorganized.

Dr. Ben-​Ozer is so knowledgeable, thorough and caring. After researching many doctors, we found that she had one of the most successful IVF rates in Southern California. Our first consultation back in 2008, lasted 2 hours and we knew that day that we wanted to move forward with her as our doctor. From day one, she took the time to discuss our treatment plan options, then carefully monitored our progress and answered any questions we had; we never felt rushed for any of our many visits (we had two out of two successful IVF attempts).
The entire office staff is helpful and pleasant to work with. If we ever had a question about billing, they guided us through the financial reimbursement process from our insurance company and if we had any questions regarding treatment, medications, etc. for Dr. Ben-​Ozer, they were extremely responsive.

Dr Ben Ozer is an amazing doctor. She is very knowledgeable and extremely professional.
She supported us since day first with all the procedures, we knew exactly what needs to be done.

This is a doctor who cares a lot about her pocket. She is normally not available to answer phone calls even when she does she is in a big rush, but if you go to her office with your credit card she’ll try to be nice. Therefore you’ll be dragged in the office for every small thing with a big pay… She recommended many unnecessary procedures to me, I am so glad I went to a different doctor.

Go to Dr. Ben-​Ozer! You won’t be sorry. She is unbelievably knowledgeable and caring.

Dr. Ben Ozer and her staff were and are amazing. After having mulitple unexplained misscarriages we were reffered to Dr. B. RIght away she was so warm and kind. I had to have a few other surgical procedures due to my OB screwing up and before and after the sugery she was amazing. We had a succesful IVF which in turn turned horrible and I had another loss, Dr. Ben Ozer was one of the first ones to the hosiptal and sat there with me and cried. (this was after I was already released from her care and in the care of my new OB)
Once we were ready again we were off to see Dr B and we now have a beautiful toddler. Once again with the birth of my son Dr. B was one of the first to the hospital.
Anytime I ever felt scared had questions, any time of day… Day or Night and even on the weekends she was always there for my husband and I.
I will always and forever have a near and dear place in my heart for Dr. Snunit Ben-​Ozer.

We used Dr. Ben-​Ozer for a egg harvesting cycle. She was knowledgable and realistic. She also matched the level of intensity we wanted for the cycle so we got the most value for our money, which we did. And when I had some complications from the procedure given I produced high numbers of eggs, she personally followed up with me twice a day, regardless of timeor day of the week. Her office is extremely well-​run and responsive.

I am so grateful to the Tree of life center for my 2 beautiful children. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ben-​Ozer and her staff. Everyone was so supportive through the roller coaster ride we were on. One of the many things I loved is that Dr. Ben-​Ozer did not use an answering service for her emergency call. She is the only doctor I have ever worked with that was available for our emergecies and that was something my husband & I really appreciated. The doctor was also kind enough to sooth my grief when we had a miscarriage and do an extra ultra sound just to confirm the the pregnancy was not viable and a DNC was necessary, which she did this at no cost. The Tree of Life became like a family to us that was on the journey with us. We felt sad to say goodbye once it was time to transition to my obgyn. Thank you to Dr. Ben-​Ozer for all her kindness, all her information, and the staff for giving us the opportunity to fulfill our dream of having a family.

Dr. Ben-​Ozer is the best doctor I have ever had the privilege to know. To me, her kindness knows no bounds. She has prayed and cried with me when things didn’t go our way, and cheered us on when the outcome has been positive.
I respectfully, yet vehemently disagree with the people who say they were treated like wallets, as my experience was completely different. The doctor reduced our fees significantly in order to help us succeed. I don’t know of any other doctor who would be as generous as she has been.
I trust Dr. Ben-​Ozer with my life. She and her staff are the epitome of caring and professional, and they each have my deep admiration and gratitude.

Went to this doctor because she was less expensive than her former partner. Well, got what I paid for. For starters, on our initial meeting, she had a bad cold and kept touching her lips (nervous habit) and then handing papers to me. Sure enough, I came down with a cold the next day, and no one else I was in contact with had been sick. That was my first impression. Then, her office was less than professional. She shared space with a urologist, and some awful lady from the other doc’s office was always yelling to people about their urine samples and talking loudly about personal their health matters. «Did you have a bowl movement today?» etc., Ben-​Ozer was also very rude and condescending about the complicated instructions for injections, etc., and acting like I was stupid when I needed her to explain again. But all of this is trivial compared to the disastrous outcome of my seeing her. After 1.5 years of cycles and spending nearly $ 65K with her, I was just a deep wallet to her.
My situation got rather complicated. The biological father of my child was a man I met online through an ad for a sperm donor. I made him do all the STD tests and had him sign a sperm donor contract with him stating clearing that had no parental rights. He agreed that my partner could adopt the child, I could move away with the child, he had no decision making power about health, education, religion, etc., In other words he was a SPERM DONOR. But after I got pregnant he «changed his mind» and said he wanted to be a «father.» Not only that, because he was Brazilian, he claimed he had the right to take my child to Brazil. I learned that he was a con man. In fact he was a pathological liar.
Despite the signed Sperm Donor Contract, he sued me for custody. I contacted Dr. Ben-​Ozer for help because I needed to prove I conceived through IVF, not through sex, as the donor was falsely claiming. She said things like, «Think of me as your friend,» and «I hope all this craziness is behind you soon.» Then Dr. Ben-​Ozer made me pay her $ 800 to write a two-​paragraph statement that she treated me. When I took a couple weeks to pay the bill, she had a rude bill collector call demanding payment immediately. I had never, never been late paying her during my treatment. In fact, I PAID IN FULL each visit for all my services at the time of service. Also, upon examining my bills over the course of my treatment we found she had actually overcharged me several times during my treatment, such as charging me twice for ultrasounds that were supposedly included in the «package,» and she actually owed me money. But I paid the $ 800 anyway, and then I found out why she was so anxious to get her money. Because she was betraying me, and she knew I would find out very soon.
I learned that while she was pretending to be sympathetic to me, she went behind my back and gave statements to the court on behalf of the sperm donor, with whom she had personally become friendly and from whom she accepted gifts. In her statements she declared how it would be better if my child had both a mother and a father. So much for those outside of traditional families who want children!
Legally and ethically she had no right to discuss my treatment with the sperm donor, the court or anyone else, unless under subpoena, which she was not. She voluntarily talked to numerous people about my treatment, making assumptions and statements about matters — such as my relationship with the sperm donor, of which she had no personal knowledge. She went way beyond the scope of professional practice, for which I could have pursued a lawsuit and my lawyers encouraged, but I was too exhausted from the custody battle.
Thankfully the judge upheld the Sperm Donor Contract and saw that the sperm donor was a deceitful con man, and I won 100 percent physical and legal custody. Too bad Dr. Ben-​Ozer betrayed me and did not uphold her oath as a doctor — whom I paid quite well. She was disloyal, unprofessional and greedy.
Wish Unilocal had an option for negative stars, because she would have plenty.

Dr. Ben-​Ozer couldn’t be a more warm, caring, and positive doctor. My wife and I love her and her staff. No matter who we have encountered at the office, the staff is second to none. She’s very thorough and gave us the hope and guidance we needed.
My wife and I couldn’t disagree more with those people who wrote awful reviews — maybe they were in a «bad place» in their lives. (Sorry NN, Lily and Chava — there are thousands upon thousands of success stories and photos all over Dr. Ben-Ozer’s office… for whatever reason, you’re not one of them, but you are a major minority. I hope you have better days ahead for all 3 of you.)

Dr. Ben-​Ozer is very thorough and the complete opposite of the mess of a doctor we had previous to her. She takes the time and care to explain all the details and will go out of her way to help you out. Her and her staff are genuinely rooting for you.

I had several visits to Dr. Ben-Ozer’s office and her Tree of Life Center. I later found out that she had not only charged us an extraordinary fee for her visits and procedures, but when it came time to submit our claims to my insurance company, her staff started acting strangely bizarre.
They *threatened* to charge the insurance company higher fees than what we had actually paid (resulting in us having to pay higher fees after the claim was processed).
When I suggested to submit the claim myself (so that anything the insurance company would cover would just come straight back to me) and they refused to give me the procedure codes!
Not only did I learn that her fees for a sperm wash, an office visit, an IUI and ultrasound are unusually high, but I also learned that these are incredibly easy processes to be done! It’s not like surgery.
Instead of paying her office visit fees of $ 350, or her sperm washing fees of $ 200, or her IUI fees of up to $ 400, i found a local doctor who will perform the entire visit for only $ 125 if paid cash (which is how we paid Dr. Ben-​Ozer).
Dr. Ben-​Ozer also gave us unnecessary office visits and procedures. She kept performing 2 ultrasounds (and charging us $ 225 each time for each cycle. With the total fees combined, every cycle that we wanted an IUI, we were charged a MINIMUM of $ 1500 and more if any of those procedures fell on a weekend. That’s $ 1500 out of pocket, compared to only $ 125.
When I confronted her about doubling up on the ultrasounds each month and asked her if it was really necessary, she said «No» and took them off our list o things to do each month. Also, she kept trying to convince us to switch from doing and IUI to doing invitro-​fertilization which would have cost us closer to $ 25,000. Each time we said no, she’d wait a couple months and schedule another costly «comprehensive office visit» to convince us again.
WTF?
Well we stuck with a couple more iUI’s and finally got pregnant. Good thing we didn’t listen to her «professional advice».
In addition to her crazy fees and reluctancy to help you get reimbursed by your insurance company, SHE“S A TOTAL CHEAPSKATE! Each time I was there, she tried to convince me not to trash my paper blanket so she could reuse it for another patient! This is the paper blanket that covered my bare genitals! How unsanitary is that?
Although she, herself has a very nice bedside manner, her physicians assistant, Sarah is a cold and nasty bitch. When I went to retrieve a copy of my medical files for our own personal copy, she gave me so much grief!
Save yourself the headache and the dollars, and see another, more willing physician or specialist who won’t try to rip you off while giving you used medical supplies.
