Alexander Daryl Phyllis, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Alexander’s for many, many years. We have been through a number of visits, tests, procedures — you name it. She has given me exceptional care throughout and I trust her completely. The only reason I have not given a 5 star rating is due to various issues I have had with staff and billing. However, the quality of her medical care more than makes up for anything else.

I absolutely like the doctor, I am a new patient but her staff is terrible, they don’t answer questions don’t call to confers appointments and when they make a mistake it’s my fault. I’m about ready to change dr in the middle of my pregnancy if the staff continue this way! Sorry doc I really did like you!

Save your time and look for a better office! First time visiting Dr. I waited two hrs. and to get a call later telling me they were not too sure of the results they needed to schedule another appointment to retake tests… And all my appointments keep getting pushed and moved around without anyone notifying me! I show up for appointments and the office is closed! Staff is rude over the phone and incompetent, it’s ridiculous to know you may need follow up treatments and cant even get an appointment to do so! Horrible experience! Find a better Dr. s office, this is very unprofessional!

One of the most unethical doctors I’ve ever encountered. Runs tests on you without your knowledge. You think you are getting one test and she adds others without EVER discussing with you first. I don’t care what the reason is for running a test, you do NOT under any circumstance run a test without discussing with the patient first and getting their consent.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Alexander for almost 12 years now. She took me in as a 5 month pregnant, new patient with severe complications. At the time, I had a very poor HMO insurance plan and she accepted me knowing that she would most likely be paid very little. I know today, that my son most likely would not have been born alive and I might have been left permanantly infertile had she not stepped in and saved us both!
I have now given birth to two beautiful children under her care. She has always been extremely caring and thorough. She is a true physician who cares for her patients above all else. She is more concerned with her patient’s well being than making money (often to her own detriment).

Staff was nice. She was nice and doesn’t sound condescending when you ask questions. But I thought when the test was being done, she could be a little gentler. It could be that this is just uncomfortable situation to be in and I was nervous, but I’ve had better experience.
Unless I have to come back here, I think I’ll be looking for a different doctor.
