History

Established in 2010.

Nate Murray started as a DJ in 1995 to provide professional music entertainment for the general public. His background includes dramatic acting, as well as extensive work in music promotions for RCA, MCA, and Warner Bros. prior to starting his dj career.

Since his start as a disc jockey more than 14 years ago, Nathan has developed a solid reputation as an entertainer. He is a people person who doesn’t mind giving a little more of himself. As a result, he has successfully established and maintained a great rapport with each client.

Nate has performed at hundreds of events, including numerous weddings, bar/batmitzvahs, and corporate parties. To his credit, Nathan has also provided music entertainment for the 2007 Miss Universe Pageant and hit TV shows «The King of Queens» and «The Hughleys».

Since his humble beginning as a young music fanatic, DJ Nate Murray of Nateboogee Entertainment offers spectacular DJ services for weddings and special events.

With a passion for music, Nate has spent years collecting a wide array of rhythmic, soulful, and dance jams perfect for any wedding, birthday party, or event. Since 1993, this wedding DJ has worked in multiple facets of music, moving from promotion to performing in clubs throughout Hollywood and San Fernando Valley, and eventually moving to weddings and corporate events in 2000.

What separates Nate from other wedding DJs is not just his spectacular music taste, but also his unique charisma. To truly entertain an audience at any event a DJ needs timing, experience, dedication, and above all else, execution. It takes more than a laptop and a playlist to create a fun and energetic mood for guests.

The whole process of working with Nate was outstanding. He is extremely professional and took the time to walk us through everything step by step, gave us numerous options and provided great input and suggestions whenever we were unsure of something. We greatly appreciated Nate taking it upon himself to work directly with our venue on the logistics giving us one less thing to worry about.
He was always accessible via phone or email leading up to the wedding and showed up early on our wedding day to make sure there weren’t any issues during the setup. His MC skills are on point, his play list worked well for our diverse crowd and he took it upon himself to get out on the dance floor and encourage additional guests to dance.
Nate also made sure to run everything by us during the reception which was much appreciated given some crazy requests by relatives to serenade us on our special day.
Nate is a consummate professional, very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Finding a DJ was one of our top priorities since we know good music can make or break the wedding. We were so happy with Nate on our wedding day that it is beyond words, but we will try. When we first booked Nate, he was very responsive to our emails. He even tried to set up a time to meet with us so that he could get a feel of us as a couple and what kind of vibe we would like to have at our wedding. Unfortunately, our schedules never matched, but we did get to talk over the phone and Nate was very personable and made us feel like we were in good hands. On the wedding day, Nate brought the party! He was very engaging with the audience and everyone participated and danced. We had many people tell us after the wedding what a good job he did. My cousin who is getting married later on this year even asked for his contact info so that he could book him for their wedding. My friend also told me that she will remember his name so that whenever she gets married, she knows who to go to! Thank you Nate for making our wedding a memorable party!

I had the pleasure of having Nateboogee DJ and emcee at my sisters wedding several of weeks ago and he is TOP NOTCH. He is just on top of it all. He really makes his clients his priority and ensures that their day is executed to perfection.
Being a professional in the wedding industry, I pay attention to these key factors and he is spot on it all. We loved his choice in music, how he has such charisma to charm all the guests and really get everyone on the dance floor.
As how all weddings are, there were a few things on our timeline that needed to be adjusted and he was really accommodating to make sure that we were happy with the evening. Thanks so much Nate for everything!
