My younger brother of twelve years of age had his hip shattered by a fall he had. He complained of pain and we would take him to ERs and no one knew what was the issue. Since the pain would shoot down his knee and ankle doctors kept doing x-​Rays on those parts. Not until a doctor scheduled his appointment at his doctors office did we finally found out what was wrong. Sure the doctor is grumpy and way past his youth but he is great at what he does! He was so shocked to see my brothers results he sent us straight to Northridge Hospital. Who can give a crap on whether a Doctor’s jokes aren’t funny. As long as he gives results and truly helps I would honestly not give a crap. My brother is now healed. He’s a tall healthy young man now and thanks to Dr. King. If it wouldn’t of been for his diagnosis we would of kept going from doctor to doctor. His case was so severe and so long with out treatment he could of lost his hip. but thankfully he didn’t.

my son went to Dr. King when he broke his arm 2 years ago, and again last week to check out a sore foot. yes, his office is busy. and yes, you end up waiting a bit. so what. he obviously cares a LOT about his patients, and the results speak for themselves. I would not hesitate to see him again if (God forbid) we need his help again. Thank you Dr., and please don’t retire anytime soon!

I hold Dr. King in high regard. When my son fell and had a triple compound fracture to his arm the ER referred us to Children’s Hospital. There Dr. King was a very competent, compassionate and knowledgeable physician, specially with children.
I will always appreciate his interactions with my son and the quality of care and medical attention he took for my son’s injury and recovery. It’s a feeling that’s hard to explain when you feel so helpless and your child is hurt then someone takes over the medical situation. Dr. King gave my son his physical well being back and his personal attention elevated my son’s self steem. I am beyond grateful and indebted to him.

I’m surprised at some of the negative reviews. I had to take my toddler to see Dr. King today. They squeezed her in as a courtesy and were very sympathetic on the phone. He isn’t a goo-​goo-​gaga-​syrupy-​sweet kind of doctor but he was gentle and kind to my daughter. I also went in with a dozen varied questions and he calmly and assertively answered everything for me. No-​nonsense, wise, kind. And the staff (Linda in particular) was great. Thank you for seeing us today. We are grateful.

I usually don’t have time to write reviews but I felt I had to do it this time for other parents who will consider Dr. King for their children’s orthopedic needs. My daughter who is 9 years old had a swollen red knee and her primary Doctor referred us to Dr. King who did numerous x-​rays on her knee and diagnosed her with dislocated knee cap. His staff, who mostly did everything for him, immediately put a brace on her whole leg, and strongly insisted that she should have the brace on for 6 weeks day and night. They even assigned her home school and told me to keep it on tight all the time, they even said that she shouldn’t be taking shower and I should just give her a sponge bath. I felt that there was something wrong with his diagnosis, so I took her to ER at St. Joseph Hospital on the same night. After blood tests and more x-​rays they found out that my daughter had an infection.
They gave her antibiotic shot and prescribed two very strong antibiotics to treat the infection. My whole family was in shock because of this incident. What could have happened to my 9 year old daughter if I followed Dr. King’s advise? Judge yourself. If you are a parent do yourself a huge favor and don’t go to him, save your child’s life. I am planning to have the board to investigate this incident, because other kids can easily become victims of his wrong diagnosis and wrong treatments. As a parent of two children and on behalf of other parents I feel obligated to report this kind of malpractice, which could have cost my daughter’s life.

This office staff is GREAT!!! Especially EVER!!! He was friendly and comforting. Telling my son what he was doing step by step, and explaining different situations thoroughly so we would know what to expect, since this was our first time ever breaking a bone. (My son broke a none in his foot) The whole staff was great, but Ever was the one who took care of us & he did a 5star job in putting my sons cast on, and helping us with all the information we needed! The office is nice and very kid friendly and plays kid movies so kids can watch something until they get to be seen. Only thing I would say is that it is on the second floor and the elevator broke!!! My son just got his cast put on, and isn’t supposed to really walk on it & the stairs are super steep!!! We were nervous about taking the stairs with crutches since we weren’t used to it, but thank God they fixed the (old) elevator (which needs to be replaced!!! B/​c I hear it happens a lot!). Other than that… The staff, professionalism, care, knowledge and everything else is great!!! Thanks again, Ever! U r awesome ;-)

Dr. King is my hero. He performed reconstructive surgery on my flat feet when I was 11 years old, and because of him, I can walk without any pain or discomfort. Without him, I would be having pain walking till this day. He is truly my hero, and I love him for his dedication to his job.

This review is a little late, but it still applies. My daughter was seen by Dr. King after breaking her arm at school. It was really the only choice we had at the time, because we were in the ER at Northridge Hospital, and all I was concerned with was making my daughter’s pain go away. Dr. King is far in his years, and quite experienced I’m sure, however, his bedside manner is not very good with young kids. His lame attempts at humor are not very well received with kids or adults.
Dr. King’s office recently moved to an office building which offers free parking (bonus!). The office has a large plasma screen on which they show «The Croods», over and over again. The office staff seem nice, but not very professional. In my opinion, it almost seems like they mock the Dr. behind his back. Weird.
If you have to be seen by Dr. King in the ER, be sure to follow up with your own primary care physician, and quickly get a referral to another Dr.

@ Uma S… Wow I actually remember that day. I had taken my son to Dr king on that same day, and I was waiting in the waiting room while this whole story was going on and you were really rude to the staff and you also yelled «f*****g Mexicans!» And then you left the office. Which I think that is pretty racist and you scared a lot of kids that were patiently waiting for hours to see Dr king. I love Dr king and his staff and I don’t think your bad review is believable, especially when you don’t say how YOU act from MY point of view. From my stand point you are rude and inpatient and not very professional or educated at all.

To Dr. King Jone. We had never met the doctor due to non-​professional staff who work for him, very low class that not suitable to serve patients that need the doctor help. Raul & Allen was very aggressive and also told me that Dr King refuse to give my son help or services without Without the knowledge of the doctor, unfortunately I will have to complain to higher levels and this because my son suffered for 24 hours thanks to two insensitive men who were willing to accept my son even though there was an emergency case.
