My boyfriend and I ordered Grecos from this location last night and MAN… what a let down. This wasn’t our first time eating at Greco’s either. We normally eat at the Sherman Oaks location and we always leave amazed at how delicious everything is. This time we ordered delivery from the Unilocal app and it was horrible. Not the same quality of the Greco’s we know and love. We ordered pizza, wings, and the Chicken Parmesan and the whole complete meal was bland, very basic, and we even had to recook the wings and pizza because it looked like it was sitting for a while. The crust wasn’t even the same that they usually have at Greco’s. We were so disappointed… once we reheated it, it tasted better, but the quality was still very poor. We both mentioned how we should have order from Pizza Hut or Domino’s and it would have tasted better, but we opted for more gourmet instead and got worse quality. I hate leaving bad reviews, but for what we paid and what was delivered… thumbs down. Way Down :(

Greco’s is great! Went here about a year ago for the first time and have been coming back since. They have a great lunch special for something like $ 10 with a huge salad(green or ceaser) and a giant slice of pizza. If you don’t totally pig out, you can eat this meal for lunch and dinner! Other things I’ve seen eaten there look great, but I always stick to pizza. Usually good parking in the lot right outside, and a large enough eating area that you can get a table. Order at the counter and they let you know when your order is ready.

Very nice pizza! Big slices, thin crust. The only one little request– please add a little more salt, spices to the base souse.

Quite possibly the worst pizza in the Valley. Bland, tasteless, dull, boring, etc. They’ve got a hell of a lot of nerve calling themselves«New York» pizza. The place is dirty, too. Save your money — and your tastebuds — and go someplace else.

I had a cheese pizza slice which was huge and pretty cheap for its size. However, it tasted like those pizzas you buy at Ralph’s and make your own. I’m pretty sure the cheese is synthetic or just tastes like one.

The guy was so rude he would not take my 3 pizza order over the phone without q credit card. Then once I arrive to place the order in person, he said he wouldn’t make the pizzas unless I have him a tip. I would never recommend this place to anyone. How fucking nasty. And on top of that, he already had the pizzas made.

Blah blah blah. I was really underwhelmed by Greco’s today. I always drive by and I have always thought of popping in but never actually did stop to do it so I did today. The Pizza itself was the most tasteless boring slice of pizza I’ve ever had. I was really sad because it looked so good but tasted so boring. The only thing that made it a little bit better was a side of ranch. I also had a Caesar salad and that was made pretty well. I hate to say it but the best thing at this restaurant was the Coke from the machine. I also really feel like the restaurant itself is lacking in the cleanliness department. Nobody comes and cleans off the table after one leaves, crumbs are just kind of thrown on the floor.

As a former New Yorker, I had to try this place out. Reviews didn’t affect my decision much since Californians have a very different taste in pizza. I’d want to say that Greco’s is like you average Times Square slice. Nothing to write home about, but it does the trick. Is it New York style pizza? Yes. Is it John’s, Joe’s or Grimaldi’s? Hell no. Also, these ginormous slices are an LA thing. Never seen those in NYC. They equal about two regular size slices. So those complaining about the price are being cheap. $ 2 a slice is average in NYC. So $ 4 for the equivalent of two is perfectly fine.

1) They sell pizza by the slice, just because of that, this place gets 4-stars. 2) The slice is huge, very thin crust, and cost around $ 5, Not bad. 3) The parking is really tight so bring some change for the parking meter, you will probably have to park on Ventura Blvd.

Neighborhood place. Slices are HUGE. Busy at lunch or dinner. I stop in for an occasional slice. Not the best but it’s ok. Sandwiches and salads too.

So this is a review of what I recall 5 years ago when my wife and I were new into our relationship. We were driving along Ventura hungry as hell looking for a place to eat, then we saw Greco’s and thought hey let’s try it out. We were glad we did. The pizza slices are HUGE and will fill you up, trust me. Service was more than great, as I recall the hilarious gentleman behind the register. Also, it was very affordable especially knowing how big the pizzas were and the quality as well. More bang for your buck. It was worth the ‘hungry journey’. Everyone should check out this place and most definitely try their food!

I can’t say too much about this place since I’ve only been in a handful of times. Each time I’ve come it’s been for pizza and I remember being happy with it each time. The restaurant itself isn’t anything to write home about. It’s very empty usually and I’ve only seen diners once or twice. The space is clean just very minimal without much ambience. But that’s all extra because you’re looking for good food right? HUGE pizza slices and I’m quite happy with the cheesiness, and overall taste of the pizza. I definitely can’t get enough cheese and I wish they’d really deliver here. Anyway, food good, restaurant ok, and no problems with service yet. Open late, parking is usually empty as well and just in case you’re inside waiting to pick up, they’ve got a tv with the game on.

The pictures of the size of the pizza slices and the reviews describing the size couldn’t be more accurate. Whenever I am in LA, we tend to have the«drunk munchies» late at night and order Greco’s for delivery. The box alone covered most of the dining table and when we opened the box, the pizza was ginormous! Biggest pizza I have ever seen! Anyway, I love the thin, crunchy crust. The toppings are amazing, but sometimes it falls right of the crust so you’re only left with a slice of bread. I would pick this pizza over Papa John’s anytime! Order Greco’s when you have the drunk munchies! You will not regret it and you’ll have pizza left over. Yum!

HEY, IT’S BIGGERTHANMYHEADHEAH! PIZZA is just NOTNEWYORKENOUGH when a slice doesn’t DWARFMYDINNERPLATE. 17YEEAHS, JUAN’S TAWSSIN’ PIZZASHEAH. i’ve been coming heah fa’ovah 20. GRECO’S NEWYORKPIZZERIA makes its dough from scratch. it’s a LITTLESLICE of New York amidst the sprawling, pool-packing California Ranch-style homes of the West Valley. but the SLICES are anything but little. GIGANTIC28″ PIES make for GARGANTUANSLICES appropriate for sharing. add salad or pasta for variety. warm, soft, thin, and crisp where the oven floor kissed it. perfect for eating à la THEFLATBUSHFOLD. order a pie or have your fave toppings loaded on a giant slice of cheese before it’s warmed in their pizza oven. grab some PARMESAN, DRIEDPEPPERS, ITALIANSEASONING and you’re ready to go! don’t come for the ambiance, tho it’s bright and clean. open till midnight! i dig this location more than the one on Van Nuys and Ventura, Juan just makes a perfect pie! for leftovers, the toaster oven makes everything new again. happy Unilocaling and here’s to tasting life! :)

I tried Grecos cuz of the good reviews but here’s one from me. So are you all kidding with these reviews? I thought it was the most tasteless and flavorless pizza I’ve ever had in my life! Are we all trying the same pizza? The pizza is already premade for 1 slice and it’s sitting out for however many hours. It’s NOT fresh! And the ingredients they use make it too sweet! I had a slice that had NO cheese on it either! I’d rather have Sabaro in the mall! Just sayin…
