I’ve been back several times over the past year. Lots of staff changes and not for the better. The attitude went downhill and I no longer really enjoyed going there. But the menu and wine list was still good. Just miss the original enthusiasm.

Closed. I hear for good. Too bad. Was a great place.

We stopped in for a late lunch on our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which is always refreshing in Taos. The food was a little pricey, but not over the norm and not considering how close to the square this place is. I highly recommend the Cajun fries, and you have to have a Marble Wildflower Wheat beer!

I had read rave reviews about this place, so I knew I wanted to try the brunch during our vacation.
I ordered the blue corn blueberry pancakes, and my husband ordered the French toast. Both were delicious, including the coffee. His orange juice tasted like Sunny D though, to be honest. I also loved sitting outside… but Taos did that all by itself.
I completely agree with the food reviews, but I have no idea how this place got 2^nd place for service – unless it’s based on the lovely gentlemen who refill drinks, deliver food, and pick up our plates. No, not the servers, although they should be.
Maybe I was expecting too much for people to be cheerful. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I get it. I was a server for a decade. But Lord have mercy. the woman who greeted us was rude, as well as our server. Luckily they all stayed away and let other people do their jobs for them, otherwise it would have been hard to relax on our vacation.
Bottom line: it was my husband’s first time to Taos. I wanted to show off the amazing town and whole experience, but I didn’t get any help here. His first reaction: «Is everyone here rude?»
Luckily I chose better every other meal; and although I will return to Taos as I always do, I will not return to Graham’s Grille.

Walked in on a busy night, after an unrelated bad occurrence. Asked for a mercy seating, told «five minutes.» Put us at the bar for 45 minutes. Left.
Was also the only person under 50 … I felt discriminated against (because I am young — though they blew it as I am a good candidate for blowing up a wine list) and lied to. Taos is becoming an ugly tourist town, and places like this are part of the problem.

Local radio personality Paddy Mac was broadcasting today from Graham’s Grill, a friend and I heard him say that if you ordered one entrée, the second one would be free. Excited, we chucked the take-​out menus and called up Graham’s… only to be told that the offer did not apply to us local shop-​people stuck @ work who need to order take-​out.
Not cool Graham’s!

Stopped by last night for a quick meal. Lovely place with a contemporary interior and attentive waitstaff.
Ordered a bottle of Spanish Rioja; delicious.
My wife ordered the chile relleno and a cup of pumpkin & New Mexican red chile bisque.
I ordered the special chicken mushroom ravioli in a Marsala sauce.
Now we are usually very deferential to the restaurants and rarely write negative reviews but this is an exception.
While the relleno was passable the bisque flavors were so off, after two spoonfuls my wife was done.
My ravioli was sitting in an overly sweet Marsala soup. The ravioli was fresh but doughy and the chicken filling was course, tough and flavorless. I ate 1 ½ and was done.
For $ 100 I’m sure we could have found somewhere better to eat.

I arrived into Taos and at my hotel right around dinner time and asked for recommendations for dinner. I wasn’t necessarily in the mood for traditional New Mexican and desired a place I could walk to because it was such a nice day. The staff didn’t hesitate to suggest Graham’s for a place that would offer me several options, including New Mexican if I so desired.
I was seated right away inside, as it was a bit chilly for me on the patio. The special for the evening was a chicken pot pie with a sherry cream sauce and puff pastry topping. It sounded delicious but a little heavy for me. Luckily the gentelman next to me ordered it so at least I got to see it and it looked fabulous but also HUGE. It must have been good because he licked his bowl clean and recommended it to another diner.
It took me a bit to decide on my meal, as many things looked great on the menu. They are very clever to have the very first page of the menu to be the desserts but I exercised will power and pressed on to the main dishes.
I decided to start with the tamale of the day as I have never ordered one or even had one before. It was a shredded beef tamale served opened in its husk with black beans, tomatos, shredded lettuce, and mexican cheese (cojiata I believe is how you spell it). It was delicious but BIG. I only hate half of it so I could save room for the main course but they were more than happy to pack up the other half for a late night snack.
For my entrée, I went with the salmon with an ancho chili and cherry crust/​glaze. I am very lucky to get to dine out all over the country at some wonderful places I have to say that it was some of the best salmon I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful but not too over powering… just wonderful. I only ate about half the filet as it was a good portion. It was served with fresh vegatables and a sweet corn risotto. I only tried one taste of the risotto as I am trying to cut back on portions but I tell you I would have eaten every bite of it as well.
I forgot to mention that as a starter, I was served a complimentry small bite of pita chips with a sweet potato and pumpkin «hummus» made with ground pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and a bit of chile powder. She should pack that stuff up and sell it as I would eat it right out of the container with a spoon.
My server was very sweet and although my service wasn’t what I would call speedy, I don’t feel that this is the type of place you should rush through. I am here in Taos for a few more days for work and there is no doubt I will be back to dine here again before I leave.

We enjoyed a great brunch here during weekend stay in Taos. I am tempted to give it 3 stars, but only because I think the service could have been a lot better. It wasn’t terrible, but I think the fact that all of the servers where pajama pants at brunch maybe makes them slower… and more sleepy?
Otherwise, the food was pretty darn tasty.

I had the Los Rios benedict with chorizo and green chiles. Yumm. I also really wanted to try a blue corn blueberry pancake but did not want a whole serving because– hey, I am in Taos and wanted green chile! So our server made me just one for $ 3. Very nice. The blue corn pancake was a bit crumbly. I don’t know if that’s normal or odd. The flavor was great though and not too sweet which I liked.
Hubs had the chile relleno con huevos. Mmmm… also very tasty. Had I not ordered 2 breakfasts, I would have been eating much more off of his plate.
Very reasonable prices for being just off the plaza and definitely good food. I think we’d return on a future visit.

Parking was horrible in Taos. We found a broken parking meter… anyways, the restaurant was quite nice, definitely feels classy. We were promptly seated and greeted, though our server was a little held up in taking our order. Over all the service was very friendly.
I really enjoyed my meal. I had the white bean burger and LOVED the texture. My partner ordered a sampler plate with tamales, flautas and some other food items. They were not very satisfied with the food, especially the tamale, which they thought was very dry. I wonder if this is due to some effort in creating healthier food?
While the food, I felt, was of good quality and taste, it definitely seemed over priced. I asked how much the order of fries included and was a little offended by how small the pricey order would be! I probably wouldn’t go back. I much more prefer the cooking of a hole in the wall establishment. Still, I was pleased with the non-​franchised restaurant.
Basically, it was enjoyable dining, but not my kind of restaurant. Too much $ for too little food. Fortunately, we had snacks in the car!

We were excited to try the local food on our recent trip to Taos. We asked several locals where the best place to eat was, and 95% of the people answered Graham’s Grille, so we ate here.
Wow, so glad we did. I wasn’t starving so I got the baby iceberg bacon & bleu salad. The bacon was the best bacon I’ve ever had– so crispy and delicious. My boyfriend had the gnocchi in a vegetable broth with fresh veggies in a lemon herb sauce. The gnocchi melted in your mouth and the accompanying vegetables were like heaven in your mouth.
Service was super friendly by both hostess and waiter. Since there was a 20 minute wait, we got a glass of wine from the bar. The bartender was very odd– not friendly at all. When our table was ready, we asked her if we should transfer our tab or pay there. She actually said, «Whatever, I don’t care.» It would have been easiest to transfer it (we were leaving her a tip so didn’t see that it mattered). She got really huffy when we requested the tab be transferred to our table and rolled her eyes, «I mean, whatever I guess if that’s what you really want to do…». I just thought it was kind of rude, but she perked right up when we said we’d close out with her, aka she knew we’d definitely be leaving her a tip.
Only a few micros on tap, no IPAs which was a bummer for me. However, the Santa Fe brewing’s Nut Brown went perfectly with my meal. Patio out back is lovely.

I have mixed feelings about Graham’s. I have had excellent meals here, and I had bad meals. We go to Tao’s every year for one week and eat here a lot. The breakfast is really good. Blueberry corn pancakes are really good, the omelets are also tasty. The homemade biscuits are a must. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday is also extensive and includes many burgers. I had a lamb burger that was really good.
Later in the week we had dinner there and was placed in the new JcPenny room (it used to be an old JcPenny’s) and we had a ‘slow’ waiter. He didn’t seem to understand my questions or directions regarding dinner. He never brought us the pita chips with the sweet potato spread. Our beef tamale was good in the center and the garlic shrimp dish was too garlicky and soupy. The chicken was good, but had the same dish earlier in the week and the ‘spice’ rub was more intense. The waiter brought multiple veggies, even though I asked for carrots only.
Dessert is usually excellent. I had the gelato, but it had frost on it. Also they ran out of fresh cookies for the dessert and placed some smashed grapes onto the plate. Strange. But usually we have a great experience. I think if you make reservations you will get a better waiter.

Nice setting — average (descent) food — but our server (Tiana) had the personality of a piece of white bread. Not rude, but certainly not friendly or helpful. And she never once came back to see if we were enjoying our lunch.
Don’t waste your time — I’m sure there are better places in Taos who would be much more welcoming should you grace their doorstep.

This is probably one of the best places to eat in Taos. The place is clean, the staff is professional, and the food is good. The reason for the 3 stars is because, compared to the kind of quality you might be used to in larger cities or real gourmet restaurants, Graham’s Grille is slightly lackluster.
We had the sweet potato fries that were very very good, mostly because of the pepper aioli dip. We also had the green chile mac n’ cheese which was good but not amazing. For our main course we had the baby-​back ribs which were really run of the mill. The meat wasn’t especially tender or impressive and the sauce tasted pretty common.

Ate here twice last week while in town for spring break. Kinda steep, but the food was good and it was veg-​friendly.
$ 79 for lunch got us:
— kid’s mac and cheese bites
— french fries
— spinach salad with cranberries, gorgonzola, candied pecans
— chili relleno entrée
— two glasses of wine, two of beer
Our last visit I had a VERY good black bean burger with crushed tortilla chips in it that made it really crunchy. YUM. Ambiance is boulder-​hippyish, outdoor seating, servers were all professionals and very responsive. Good food. I’d go back.

We have walked past this pace dozens of times, and never even looked in the window. Our loss! On a recent trip, we were looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee and stuck our head into the door. We wound up with the best breakfast. Ever. My French Toast was perfect in every way. The perfect portion, cooked just right. Our server was friendly and helpful; and as much as we had enjoyed dinner the night before at Doc Martins’ we were now regretful we hadn’t eaten here. Our next visit to Taos WILL include more meals at Graham’s.

A bit hectic getting in, but once we sat it was phenomenal. The hardes thing was to pick something. Graham’s Grille has selections ranging from seafood to New Mexican to good-​old American.
Because we couldn’t decide we went with two appetizers: Red chile calamari strips and duck taquitos with a cherry salsa. Both were excellent. My wife had the tenderloin which she ordered medium-​well (despite my pleading). The kitchen took mercy on her and cooked it just well of medium so it was still moist. My sesame ahi tuna did not disappoint.
Excellent wine selection (and great descriptions for us noobs) and the desert was great.
