History
Established in 2007.
Chef Fred had a restaurant in Taos previously called Fred’s Place. Even though is was very successful, it was a diversion from his background in the restaurant arena. When he came back to Taos, he decided to open a place that showed more of his talents. Partnering up with Annette (GM and pastry chef), they open El Meze which showcases their collaborative efforts in producing rustic, clean dishes.
