I was born and raised in this beautiful town of Taos. I have worked in the Plaza for over 18 years and have had the opportunity to meet many people. First off, the restaurant is set in a low grade sports bar. Airport caliber ambiance. The food is priced high for lunch, making lunch at least $ 20. In Taos that’s really high.
Service is avg among Taos and staff seemed disheveled or hungover when I was there. I was treated second class for placing a large order… True story.
Food quality is good. Portions are small making ordering difficult as it is an unusual small plate menu day or night.
For Taos this is a good stop for a fancy snack and a cocktail. Not a proper restaurant but worth a try.

Stopped in the first time shopping to get a local shirt. Found they have a great selection at really great prices. Had some t-​shirts for only 8.99 where most places have shirts for 20+. Much better variety and have short sleeves, long sleeves, crew neck sweaters, and hooded sweatshirts of almost every design and color. Went back to get more later because the prices were great and shirts feel great and are stylish!
