My experience with Shalimar was nothing but wonderful.
I wanted to get my engagement ring sized and was told over the phone that it could probably be done within the day.
When I brought it by, the team confirmed that the jeweler would be able to accommodate my same-​day request and that it would be around $ 40 (simple band, decrease by three full sizes).
I checked my size one more time, confirmed, and left to let them do their thing.
When I came to pick up later that afternoon, the ring was too small. It’s very important to note that Shalimar sized the ring perfectly, but that I made a mistake and should’ve gone up a half-​size.
The Shalimar group were completely understanding and accommodating, even resizing my ring back up and getting it back to me within an hour at no charge! Even though it was my mistake!
The associates’ attitudes in dealing with what was a pretty embarrassing situation instantly earned my satisfaction and loyalty as a customer. Very grateful for such a wonderful experience.

Bought a bracelet about 6 months ago that broke TWICE even though it was only worn very infrequently. Took it in to be repaired and had to pay for that… not even 3 weeks later it broke again in the SAME spot. Returned to store asking what they can do for me… extremely RUDE and arrogant woman basically says it’s MY fault that it’s broken (!!!). After wasting almost 45 minutes of my time going back and forth and calling a manager or whoever, she agrees to exchange it BUT wanted me to pay almost $ 50 extra for the SAME EXACT BRACELET because the cost of gold has gone up since my purchase… even though I was exchanging something that was clearly DEFECTIVE. Ridiculous. Save your money and go elsewhere — their merchandise is shoddy, but their service is even worse. Am reporting to the BBB.
