Pleasantly surprised how honest they were. I’ve been told by many other places I need new tires for months.
(Although I know I don’t, yet). Richard told me exactly where my current tires rank and when I will truly need new tires. Also did not try to sell me an expensive brake package. He cleaned them up and now they work great! The only bad thing is I had an appointment, they only had one or two cars ahead of me and it took 2 hrs. I think they need more employees, but overall I’m satisfied. Also within walking distance to cigar city and chik fil a. Will definitely return for tires or any other issues.

ANOTHER problem. They put on the back tires of my car and I blew one out. Bought road hazard insurance through them and they now say that they don’t carry the tire. Two servicemen have told me this. Spoke to the store manager who needs some Customer Service 101 classes. STILL not sure when I will get my car back. Note: The front tires were put on elsewhere (I blew out a front and back tire in the same day). The small Mom & Pop Goodyear tire place (McGee’s in Zephyrhills) has the front tire already… said they can get a back tire by tomorrow. Pepboys is not interested in getting their assistance.

Completely ripped off for an oil change! $ 66.00 never coming back! Staying with my dealership. He also was trying to convince me not to go back to the Pep Boys that was close to my house oh don’t worry about it I will be going to any pep boys anymore!

My son has an older vehicle that needs a lot of care on a regular basis. We always send his car to Pep Boys. They are nice, thorough, quick, and best of all… they have their own towing service. You pay it when you pay your bill. If you sign up for their rewards program, then it’s less than $ 30. It’s a really great deal.

So far my experience her has been far better than the on on N Florida by Armenia. I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered us as we had only been there once, about 8 months ago. I can’t say I’m pleased with having to go there, because it usually means something wrong for me. But I am happy that they offer longer and better warranties than most other places. Since I seem to have bad luck with mine, it’s calming to know I can finally place a little trust in someone.

Had an oil change and tire rotation that some how turned into a 300.00 project, oh by the way just had my car looked over by a trusted professional and no issues. But I guess my tires that are almost brand new are at what they call a «May pop». AVOID AT ALL COST!

Got my car serviced here. They were friendly and prompt. David was great with customer service. He took care of all my needs. I did not have an appointment, but they were able to help me right away.
I have been in the store a couple times before. The staff has always been helpful. This was the first time I had my car serviced here. It was a Tuesday morning. They changed my oil and replaced the reverse lights. My car is supposed to get synthetic oil and a special filter. Overall it ran me about $ 80. That was expected.
The staff kept me posted on their progress. They work hard and get the job done. I have no complaints. I will surely be back.

I visited this Pep Boys for the last time recently. I was having brake issues and just wanted to see what was wrong. After waiting more than three hours, I learned what was wrong and was told a round-​about estimate, no specifics whatsoever. They suggested I buy a new car and handed me my keys back without any type of written estimate. I went down the street and had my brake issue fixed for less than half the $ 1000 Pep Boys estimated.
I feel they are unprofessional and charge prices I would expect to pay at a dealership. I will NOT be returning.

This is my last visit to my local Pep Boys.
Here’s why.
Arrived 9:30 a.m.
Made to wait for over 20 minutes.
I finally had to ask for service.
Requested an oil change.
$ 47.00! Outrageous and the most I’ve ever paid for a standard oil change.
They said I needed a new air filter.
$ 20.00 with «no charge» for installation.
I found the same filter on-​line for $ 7.85.
I kept the old filter and a second repair shop said the old filter did not need to be replaced.
Waited longer and finally checked on the continued delay.
They had mis-​communicated and no one was installing the filter. The car was just sitting.
Had I not checked, I might have waited another 30 minutes.
Total damage … $ 67.00 and 3 hours of waiting for an oil change and air filter for a Honda Civic.
I complained and was given a «discount» of $ 20.00.
If I had not complained?
What’s wrong with this picture?

I brought the rambler (my 85 4 runner) in to get new tires, and to get the steering aligned. Now the rambler probably hasn’t had the steering aligned since 1985, so you needed to hold the wheel at a 45 degree angle to drive it straight. They had to basically remove the steering wheel and disconnect the gear box in order to align it properly. They got it done in less than a hour. They were prompt and professional.
