History
Established in 1990.
Note-ably Fun Piano Studio was born on the day my son came into this world. He captured my heart and I knew I had to start a business that would allow me to stay home with him. Music is a passion of mine that I had spent my life studying and I love people. The idea of teaching music in a way that instills a love for music became a reality. My first students were from the children’s choir that I was working with at Lake Carroll Baptist Church. I started off with 12 students.
Those students are grown now with families of their own but I keep in touch with the hundreds of students I have had the honor of teaching. Many of my students continue to spread the love of music by directing bands in schools, directing choirs, teaching piano, writing music for TV shows, performing in symphonies and orchestras and many other Rewarding jobs. The knowledge that taking lessons had improved the lives of these students who in turn inspire other students is what motivates me to teach.

She also found the perfect piano teacher for me. I studied with zLeatrice Frueh a teacher /composer for 13 years. Mrs. Frueh was one of the most influential people in my life. She also got me into the student organizations necessary for me to compete. This opened the door to scholarships. My kindergarten teacher at Spencer Memorial, Mrs. Heinsen, said that I took her hand on the way to the playground and said that when I grow up I am going to have a hundred children! That turned out to be prophetic. I have always loved teaching. I started at Lake Carroll teaching VBS, Sunday school and choir. That experience was as much of an education as my classes at USF.
I am so thankful for my mom, Becky Kincaid, my piano teacher, Lee Frueh, Miss Sandy Garcia at LCBC, and Mrs. Heinsen, my first teac
