The Tacoma Elks has been a positive influence in the community since it was founded in 1886 as the 174^th Elks Lodge in the nation. Since its founding, Tacoma Elks have been involved throughout our community in many ways.

We believe in helping those less fortunate. We help over 5,000 families have a merry christmas every year, we give high school seniors and college students scholarships to further their education, we work hand in hand with Joint Base Lewis McChord to help veterans, also with the Wounded Warrior Project and American Lake Hospital and we don’t stop there, we have a childrens therapy program called Tall Elks where licensed occupational and physical therapists come in to childrens homes to work with them at no cost to the parents.
