Couldn’t be happier with my subaru
My subaru was over heating for a few months, i took it to a other shop first left it for a week there and they couldnt find anything wrong with it and still over heated
Then took it to PIA told me what it was and fixed it with in a few hours of leaving it there

Only place I would take my Subaru. Great customer service, fast, and very thorough. I drive all the way down from Seattle to have them work on my car. Always worth it!

Talk about trust. I have taken 3 different STI’s to these guys and have all the confidence to push my car hard after they’ve worked on it. I’ve brought in cars with some GNARLY workmanship from previous shops and had PIA fix all the mistakes so I (and my mom) don’t have to worry about breaking down… or exploding. My car is my baby and I wouldn’t take it to just any shop.
You ask just about anyone in the area who they take their subie to and I would put money that they’d say PIA.
I love chatting with them about my car and what I can do to make reliable performance upgrades. If anything to take away, just know your baby is in good hands. When my STI’s warranty expires, you can bet your a** i’m taking it to PIA!

Awesome crew! I only trust my 2015 sti to PIA! Mike did a really good job on my tune and it pulls like a bat out of hell! Been going there since February 2015 and this is the only ship I feel like they take care of my car like it’s their own! Love the costumer service and Andrew is funny as heck and is very well informed. Don’t go anywhere else for you’re subie needs. I only goto pia now for life!

The only place around that I would let work on my Subaru. By far, the best Subaru shop in the state of Washington.

The only place that’s treated me as well as PIA does was my Dad’s old mechanic that he had gone to for 20 years. These guys have diagnosed my fuel issues and gave me a FREE base tune to help deal with it. They’ve also given me solid advice about check engine lights over the phone, while I’ve been stuck on the side of the road wondering what happened. If you’re looking for that trustworthy, A+ shop that people talk about in their dreams, this is your place!

Wow! Been going here for 6 years had a non turbo Subaru and they took care of it %100. They were dead on the time frame when I needed to replace brakes, Every time I did my scheduled tune ups the car came out better than new… I totally 100% trust Steve and the crews ability on doing honest accurate work, they don’t price goudge… I now have a tuned turbocharged Subaru all done by PIA, they have kept this thing in tip top shape, they fully inspect your car Every time and they’ll look at things Subaru dealer won’t, so glad they give awesome honest work, they are honest. Now I can see why they are one of the best in the northwest, all mechanics can tell you everything about your car and answer any questions, they’ll take you out and show you what they are doing and if there is a problem so you can see yourself, they want your Subaru to last. Thanks PIA for the great effort day in and day out on keeping subarus on the road … Oh and service is excellent they do it in a timely fashion, you won’t wait for hours and hours when you have a scheduled service. They even excepet at times when it’s busy and they are about to close to so a oil change. I highly recommend

Nothing but love for the guys at PIA. I am blown away at how they opened up my Forester XT, the dyno tune is absolutely perfect, and my sway bars are so dialed in it rides and corners like a completely different car. The quality of work these guys do is impeccable. Even my wife, who hates modifying cars, admits that my forester is 10x the car it was before they touched it, and would have them do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks PIA for being an honest, high quality, awesome, reasonably priced shop. It’s hard to find anywhere you can trust as much as PIA.

I recently had my WRX dyno tuned at PIA and it was one of the best experiences in a car shop ever. The head tuner, Mike, was very professional and very informative about exactly what he was doing during the whole process, Andrew at the front counter was very nice and accommodating, he even asked me if I’d like something to eat from Wendy’s while I was waiting! Steve would check in with me about how everything was going, him and I discussed future plans with my car and how he could be of help. Will definitely be bringing my car back to PIA!

I brought my Legacy GT in for major service and some replacement of worn parts. The diagnosis was accurate, the work was performed taking care to look for other items needing addressing, and the overall service experience was not only pleasant, but left me feeling as though I was being looked after. I have a high mileage car, and I’ll continue bringing it back here to keep things in order for years to come. I highly recommend bringing your Subaru here for excellent service.

I went to PIA after going to another shop that I was felt unwelcome’d to and had a job go bad. PIA’s work is WORTH every penny! They treat me like family, know me by first AND last name right when I walk right through the door.
They knew who my brother was when he went in there for a brake job a few days ago. They pointed out that my radiator was leaking one time I went in for an oil change and that my upper radiator hose is expanding to where it was about to burst. I agreed on them replacing it. Love how much info they have on their parts and services and any future upgrades I want for my 92x Saabaru.
This is a shop that you can trust to have your car there and returned in a better condition than it came in.

This is the Pacific NW. Land of Subies GALORE.
But wait. You got a modified Subaru or heaven forbid, if you’ve used the ever popular Cobb Accessport to get a few more horsepower, very few shops can help you out, including the dealership. That was me. I went to every Subie specific shop in Seattle. And either got turned down (dealership) or was told we can’t figure it out (other shops who say they know Subarus, yes I went to ALL of them).
My next choice was to sell my car. I was THAT desperate.
Using some extensive online research, I went with a long list of possible things to swap out and knew this issue was hard to diagnose. Trial and error was looking expensive.
Instead the fine guys at PIA looked at something completely different that even the extensive online network of car owners hadn’t considered and my car was humming in a way it never had before.
I was at the end of hope and these guys came through!
There is definitely more going on here than meets the eye. They are a Cobb Authorized dealer. The have a full dyno and dyno tune (I was given a tour!). They had my part in stock and knowing my year/​make and the type of item, I was DULY surprised and impressed!
Working on Subaru’s… it’s not rocket science, it’s an art and no one else does it better in the Seattle region. It’s a drive from Seattle but there is a Starbucks within walking distance of PIA and Enterprise will drop off a car if needed.
For unmodified or stock vehicles? You’re in MORE than safe hands. Looking for more performance or break something… this is it. Period.

I wouldn’t take my Subaru anywhere else but to Steve and his crew at PIA.
I purchased a used Subaru back in February. Steve looked over the vehicle to make sure it was a good buy and that there weren’t any potential issues with it. I have taken my Subaru to them for routine maintenance up until I moved back to Texas at the end of the year.
PIA is an honest family-​run business and everyone that works there has a genuine passion for Subarus. They take care very good care of their customers. If only there was a shop like PIA back in Texas.

After researching on Unilocal local oil service stations. This being my first Subaru I figured I should stick with people that know these creatures as I have learned there are like no other import.
Has that real shop feel and very friendly crew. Didn’t call ahead if time to make an appointment but still made room for me.
Will come here from now on and definitely recommend this place!

My first experience with Pacific Import Auto begin when I brought my built 05 Subaru
wrx sti in for a retune. PIA head tuner Micheal plug up my car to his computer and told to me to drive while he review the state of my current tune. Once the drive was over he told me bluntly that my tune was horrible, the car was running lean, under boost, and knocking. He strongly suggest I get a tune asap and even took the time to explain and even teach me how to review the tune on his laptop using the cobb software. PIA eventually tune my subie and the new tune is out of the world! The car feels so smooth and drives like dream. From that point on I took it upon myself to recommend every Subaru owner to have the guys at PIA work on their cars. PIA is a great family run shop who loves Subaru and will always have your best interest at heart. They will never give you the run around and will be honest regarding what you really need. Trust me these guys can be picky if they choose too. They have appointments books for weeks even months in advance. Go check out Pacific Import Auto and see for yourself how relax and welcoming these guys are. Heck I go there to bullshit with the them from time to time myself.

There’s no words that I can use to express my love for PIA.
Seriously.
They will take care of you and your car. This is my very first Subaru and I wanted it to be taken care of.
I tried another independent Subaru specific shop that was closer to me to install a rear sway bar. After about a year I hear some squeaking in the back, I took it to PIA and they pointed out that it was installed upside down! I did take it back to the other shop to have them flip it. The point of the story is that I will never take my Subaru anywhere else. These guys know their stuff!
And they haz Tootsie Rolls. All. The. Time.

Believe everything you hear. Ended up getting a SPT exhaust system to replace my busted one for half the cost of a replacement OEM exhaust. These guys know there stuff, and after coming ere I know two things: 1) I will never own anything but a Subaru, and 2) I will never take my car anywhere but Pacific Import Auto for my car needs.

This place IS as amazing as all the recommendations and comments state.
I purchased my first Subaru and during the sales process the salesguy stated that PIA was the ONLY place to go for anything on my new car. Being a super anal about my autos, I did my research and found that everyone else had the same «Great Experience» with PIA and their cars.
BOTTOM LINE:
I set up an appointment for my 1000 mile «Break-​in» service with super high hopes and PIA and its staff absolutely delivered. Dave (I believe to be the service manager) was fantastic. He walked me around my car (and his car), and gave me more info in an hour about my stage 2 options that I had seen in 3 weeks of research and they KNOW what they are talking about. These dudes are Subi aficionados all sporting multi stage Subaru’s themselves.
They love it and it shows. I see now that I will be doing a lot of spending with them, and will be quite happy and proud to say that I have had my car worked on by the gentz at Pacific Import Auto.
