was a great dog boarding option for me! I easily found a sitter for my pup within just a few miles from where I lived. She was easily reachable and it was easy to tell that she really loved dogs. She catered to my dogs routine and my dog loved her. He didn’t want to leave. The filters
has on their website makes it extremely easy to find the type of sitter you are looking for and it’s saves me a lot of stress and money when trying to find a safe and comfortable place for my dog to stay when I’m out of town.

Very well organized service for dog sitting. It does get expensive with more than one dog, but my sitter was prompt, honest, timely, sent me pix, answers my concerns ASAP. There are all kinds of rewards and gifts too. Very happy with

to watch our 2 dogs and have been very pleased with the process of paying through the site and the sitters getting payment after we pick up our dogs. We also love the easy communication with the sitters through the site, including updates and pics of our pups while we are away! The sitters on

I’ve used
for dog boarding a couple of time while on week and longer vacations. I was able to find someone that would stay at our house and take care of the dog, cat and our laying hens! There are lots of options for people coming to your house if you prefer that, or even taking your pet to their house. I had an excellent experience dog boarding with Rover. The website had great descriptions of potential sitters and I appreciated the reviews left by others — I used these to decide which sitters to reach out. I reached out to 2 sitters that had availability over the Christmas holiday. One was no longer available and one asked if I wanted to set up a meet and greet with her and her dog. We met at a neutral dog park and our dogs got along — more just ignored each other. She seemed full of knowledge regarding dogs. When I left my 45 lb energetic dog with her, I was nervous but she sent me an update and pictures of him every day through Rover’s website. I loved knowing he was taken care of and having a great time, all at an affordable price. I will continue using Rover for all my dog boarding needs.

I have a BIG dog — a 125 lb St Bernard. I hated the idea of leaving him in a kennel when I travelled home for the holidays (he was abandoned at one before he came to live with me). But, of course, I waited until the week before Christmas to make arrangements and that is when I found
. I had to go through a few possible sitters before I found the perfect one for my dog, but
made it very easy and every sitter I contacted got back to me quickly. There was great diversity of options and the prices weren’t bad considering it was a holiday week and my pup is a giant. I will definitely use
again the next time I travel.

This is a great option for finding a pet sitter. The site is well-​designed and makes it easy to search for potential sitters. It makes communication very easy and is well integrated with text messages. We found a great sitter (Blanca) who provided a comfortable home environment for our dog while we were away. We got several updates and pictures a day. Seems like a no-​brainer compared to similar costs for an impersonal kennel.

We have used two Rover dog sitters (the first one moved away) and we fully recommend them. Each one stayed in our home with our two dogs while we were away. Every time our house was neat, the yard watered, and the dogs happy and relaxed when we returned home. Have the sitter send you pictures of your dogs so you can see how relaxed and happy they are, they won’t really be missing you all that much! We have had no subsequent security issues or any problems of any kind. We are planning to use the same sitter for all of our sitting needs in the future.

Epic fail for me.
My requirements were threefold: 1). home 24/​7, 2). no other pets and 3). no little kids. I would not have been surprised to find there were none that fit the bill, but I found 3. The service was doling ‘em out one at a time.
The 1^st sitter took 3 days to get ahold of me, only to tell me she couldn’t be there the morning we had to leave, and ask if could we have a friend drop the dog off in the afternoon. What happened to you and your room mates being with her ²⁴⁄₇? After all the run around, this just made me sour on the whole operation.
I opted to take the little darlin’ to VCA for $ 22 a day.

I have been providing Pet Sitting Services through Rover for a year now and I can thoroughly say, I am blown away w/​the companies initiatives to provide quality service to both myself and my clients. Whether it’s providing sitters like myself with regular training, ²⁴⁄₇ online/​call support for any questions that I may have, fun gifts sent to me to provide my clients w/​, and continuously organizing a site that is user-​friendly for both parties that allows for such life-​long relationships, I can’t be happier w/​Rover! It’s such a secure and trustworthy site to go through for anyone looking for a local sitter, all my clients have just been thrilled to of found such a site for their «fur-​babies»! They’re ALWAYS left at ease while they’re away. I have been able to participate in Rover events such as DockDogs while being invited to dinners that support local dog rescue organization’s. It’s truly a job that I have always dreamt of and now I have made it into my full-​time career! I will be a life-​long Rover service provider is the dog sitting realm, creating new furry relationships, one sit at a time ;)

Rover is an excellent Pet Boarding option! I use it mainly for day care as I’m away from work. My puppy always comes home happy and tired from his play sessions. I must admit it took me a few tries to find my favorite sitter but I’m so happy I did. Some sitters watch more than a few dogs so just make sure to ask and clarify. My guy is small and needs a lot of attention so he’s best around sitters with one more dog. I just love the ease of the service and I truly trust the Rover team.

I am also so happy to have found
. My dog, Molly, is like my child and I couldn’t imagine putting her in a kennel like all the other pet boarding places wanted to do. I found a couple who live in my neighborhood, have a dog the same age as Molly, and understood my anxiety about leaving her. I really appreciated the emails, pictures, and videos about Molly while I was gone. I was able to enjoy myself while I was away knowing my dog was well taken care of.

So glad to have discovered
–a wonderful site to find a great dog sitter. The advantage of
is that you can find a number of potential pet sitters and communicate online initially. We found a wonderful young woman who stayed with our dogs a couple times. To our disappointment, she is moving away, so we will be back to looking. But we know we can use
with confidence to find future dog-​sitters.
