I’m 35. Ive been in multiple car accidents. Ive been in chronic pain for 10+ years. The pain just became my normal, so no big deal right? Wrong, and come to find out, Ive been wrong about the pain in my ‘back’ for all these years. My hips are off… did you know that your pelvis can cause horrible pain in your entire back! Well, I did not.
I started seeing a naturopath a few months ago after being SO tired of the two-​minute-​who are you-I’m busy-​nutrition whats that-​doctors and she recommended I see a Chiropractor because I was having nerve spasms in my shoulder and my toes were numb.
I’m not a fan of being touched by strangers and didn’t want someone to just ‘crack my back’ so to speak. I can tell you, I am extremely glad I followed through and came here. Ive seen Dr Luke only twice now but he has me so full of hope that it brought tears to my eyes, literally.
I would recommend this place to anyone weary of going to a chiropractor, its very relaxing, the front office ladies are very nice and helpful-​even remembered my name on the second visit. Now thats customer service! Dr Luke explains everything so I can understand what my body is doing and how to fix it. He is realistic, caring and very personable. I can say with the knowledge he is giving me I have full faith that I will one day walk around pain free.
The only cons I have to say is the parking is tight and there is little of it and I wish I had just a tad more time in the appointment. Other than that, its a great place to go and I actually look forward to going… I have NEVER said that about a medical facility.
I don’t use five stars on a whim, I really do believe this place deserves it. Check them out.

My husband has been trying to get me to try his chiropractor since he found this place and would not stop talking about how great they were! After a very long and stressful week away from home I woke up with a crick in my neck. Three days later it was still there and I finally gave into my husbands advice to try this place out. This was my first time ever visiting a chiro but can imagine it ever getting any better than this. He made my neck pain go away and I casually brought up at my appt that I had been dealing with planters faciatis that and Dr. Luke said he could fix that! Shocked to hear that I came in consistently for 3 days a week to see him for a couple weeks and it was GONE! So happy this place is only 3 blocks from our new home!

I have been a fan of Dr. George for years. Lately I’ve seen him when injuries from a car crash give me grief. He is so caring that he offered to meet me at his office during a Seahawks playoff game because I was in so much pain. I didn’t take him up on the offer but did get in first thing the next morning for nearly instant relief. I’ve referred many people. Every one was pleased with their treatment. He knows his stuff and is always learning more. A gem.

My third (and final!) chiropractor in Tacoma, and by far the best. I first saw Dr. Chinn before he left and had a great experience — I later saw Dr. George and loved that he would often take time to give me stretches or exercises to help between appointments. I now see Dr. Luke and love that he’s great about not just giving an adjustment but working the muscles around the problem as well. You can’t go wrong with a doctor here. Also, the ladies up front are extremely professional, friendly, and personable!

I walked in like a hunch back and walked out feeling almost 100 percent! Thank you for the help! This has to be the best in town…

I became a new patient to Dr George a couple months ago and I’m so thankful I found him. He explained everything in great detail and has gotten me out of pain twice now! I’ve already told all my friends, co-​workers and family members about him. The gals up front have been great too! I really appreciate the entire office and I’m happy I found them.

I was told about Dr. George Keogh by my massage therapist. After Lasik eye surgery I began to experience severe headaches and tightness in my shoulders that could not be relieved from massage. I endured this pain for well over a year while going to eye doctors, physical therapists and my own physician. I waited far too long to go see Dr. George (as I call him). On the initial visit I felt as if he was really listening to what I was telling him. You could almost see the wheels turning in his head. He truly has a passion for helping you find the root of the problem. On that visit he explained to me that he would give me the manual for my body and that he has. I was beginning to feel that I was just experiencing the signs of getting older, however, I have not felt this good in years! I feel like the person I have missed and always knew existed. My headaches are gone and I now have moisture back in my eye that was experiencing pain from the Lasik. He has also managed to fix my back that has been in severe pain for many years. I just figured it would always be that way. Dr. George has a true understanding of the human body. The tools he has given me to use at home are keeping my body happy. He is so much more than a Chiropractor but lucky for me, my insurance prefers that title. The staff is extremely pleasant and they even have massage therapy in the office. If you are not feeling yourself and it feels like no one else has been able to help you, I assure you this will be your last stop.

I had to visit Proctor Chiropractic for a work-​related injury. I had tried physical therapy and massage therapy at Apple in Lakewood but didn’t feel that I was getting any better or improving. So I saw Dr. Joel Vrana at the Auto and Work injury center in Tacoma and what a bad experience I received. So I did some research and found Proctor Chiropractic. Amanda, Gaby, and Christy (a group of very friendly, knowledge, and professional women) got me an appointment to see Dr. Chinn. Long story short… after 20 visit with Dr. Chinn my back and neck feels a lot better. I am so happy that I found them. As part of my treatment I had to do massage therapy as well and Emily really worked out all the knots in body that allowed the healing process to speed up. So my personal thanks to everyone in Proctor Chiropractic.

I have been going to Proctor Chiropractic to see Dr Greorge for at least ten years. I am a fairly athletic and active person. Dr George has repeatedly helped me get over injuries in order to continue doing the things I love. His approach has included both Chiropractic adjustments and a fairly rigorous exercise and stretching regimen. Every time I follow his guidance, I make great progress. Dr. George really cares about his patients and their health. Having gone to chiropractors since I was a child for my scoliosis, I had met a lot of chiropractors and I knew he was special when I met him. His demeanor, «bedside manner» if you will, was so comforting. I knew I could trust him and was in good hands.
After seeing every possible doctor known to man, western or natropathic, after spending thousands of dollars and with no answers as to why I have chronic foot pain, I was at a loss. I’d given up on life and feeling like I had a future without wheelchairs.
Dr. George kept pressing in, kept asking questions, kept studying and learning and eventually He healed me! Yep, that is right, HE HEALED ME. My chronic widespread incurable pain with an emphasis on my feet had left me leaving all doctors feeling, alone, misunderstood & hopeless. Dr. Geroge is more than a chiropractor. He is a man of great integrity, curiosity and knowledge and skill. I challenge anyone who suffers from what seems incurable pain to go and see him.

I want to write an update and improve my review of Proctor Chiropractic. Not only have they contacted me directly to apologize for the handling of our billing, but also provided a refund of the surprise charges.
Doctor Keogh called to tell me that my review inspired him to update his internal handling of billing and patient charge disclosure. If he puts what he described to me into practice, this may be the best chiropractic office in town because you will have FULL disclosure of any charges to you up front before you receive services. I find that really admirable.
So, let me reiterate how friendly and attentive the staff is at this office and how the services provided were effective and thorough. They are a-​okay from my perspective!
