Bradley E.

Business Owner

Dr. Bradley Eyford — Doctor of Chiropractic, was born and raised in Vancouver BC, Canada. He Graduated from the University of Victoria, in Victoria BC with his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 1998. Soon thereafter, he moved to Portland OR for his post-​graduate education at Western States Chiropractic College. After graduating Chiropractic College in 2003, he began his practice in Tacoma WA and has been practicing there ever since. As a lifelong patient of Chiropractic care, Dr. Eyford knows and truly values the benefits of the adjustment. It’s this knowledge and passion for helping others that drives him in his constant quest to improve the lives of his patients.

This place is wonderful! I’ve gone for acupuncture services with Janelle and chiropractic treatment with Dr. Brad Eyford. Janelle has been wonderful in helping with headaches, stress and neck pain during pregnancy and Dr. Eyford is knowledgable, fast and proficient. The staff is very kind and explains billing clearly. It’s always easy to make an appointment and parking/​location is always good. I really appreciate them and have already referred a few friends!

The Health Connection is by far the best, most honest, genuine practice I’ve experienced in Tacoma.
At 19 I moved into the mother-​in-​law suite of The Eyfords home to be their nanny, and I have never met any family with more love for each other and still with more to share with friends and patients. They have poured their life into their healthy practices and strive to share the fruit of their labor with others. I will forever feel like a part of the Eyford family, because that is the kind of people they are.
Dr Bradley Eyford is an incredibly genuine man, who adores his wife and children more than anything in the world. He is very professional, but also makes a point to make the patient feel welcome.
After a car accident I saw the massage therapists regularly for quite some time. I have never been disappointed with a massage I have received, and the therapy helped my healing process immensely. Obviously each therapist varies, but they are all open to any suggestions or preferences you may have.
The therapist are very respectful of time, but if you show up late to your appointment, you are missing time that your paying for.
Overall; this practice is the best in town. They love people where they are, and help encourage them into a healthier happier place.
Don’t let the nasty negative review you read before this one deter you from trying The Health Connection!

SHORT VERSION: «60 minute» massages are only usually 40 minutes long.
I went to this chiropractic and was not impressed, the doctor seemed to like chatting but didn’t remember anything about me from visit to visit. So I found a different one, who were way better with both general and prenatal chiropractic (Renaissance).
I continued going here for massages only because they took my insurance and they have two really excellent prenatal massage therapists, Stephanie and Laura. However, the 60 minute sessions are actually (theoretically) 50 minute massages, but literally all but one of my massages has been 40 – 45 minutes. I mentioned it a few times to the receptionist who insisted things would improve. After a 35 minute massage, I complained and was told the manager would contact me. She did, and said they’d look into it, could they do anything else? I said yes, you should give me a complimentary 60 minute massage, as that’s way less than the 5 – 10 minutes I lost over two dozens massages. They declined. Someone called me and said it looked like they ‘weren’t meeting my needs.’ I was like, are you serious? There’s a problem with your system — which 2 people I know who get massages there have confirmed to me — and your response is to suggest I not go there anymore? Well, you’ve got it — I will find somewhere else to go.
PS They have some shady billing practices, too, including billing my insurance for a non-​Regence massage therapist because he was «covering» for a Regence provider. They also bill for 4, 15 minute massage increments even though they’re giving you less than 45 minutes of massage.

This is a very professional and accomodating office. I am a local physician and experience constant lower back and neck pain. After several years I came to see Dr. Eyford on the advice of a colleague. Several pain free adjustments and I felt vastly improved ! I appreciate quality care and a quality team. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Personally and professionally recommended.

I have been going to the Health Connection for many years now and have utilized all aspects of the clinic — chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture — and they have all been fantastic!
On the chiropractic side, there is no one better than Dr. Eyford! You don’t need an appointment because he is very thorough, yet efficient with all his patients. He quickly puts me back into alignment and I am out the door.
I have never had a bad massage at Health Connection either! They are very responsive to whatever issues you are having and can either give you a relaxing rub or a deep tissue sports massage.
The acupuncture is also amazing. I went when I was pregnant and it helped a lot with back pain I was having and also helped kick start my labor when I was ready to go!
Bottom line: Go to Health Connection. You won’t regret it!

I haven’t been for a long time, but I always appreciated that the providers at THC always respected my time and were kind and helpful. The drs never ran behind or wasted my time trying to sell me things I wasn’t interested in. I saw the chiropractors regularly for work related back pain, as well as the massage therapists and acupuncturist for car accident related injuries. I recommend them to people all the time.

I had sharp, stabbing pains in my shoulder/​neck area and needed relief! I chose this office because they offered both chiropractic and massage therapy… and acupuncture although I’ve never tried it.
I was pleasantly surprised they were able to see me the same day I called and my appointment was quick and thorough. He identified the issues and started adjustments immediately… and not the old school crack of the neck adjustments. They use a tool that is quick and completely pain/​anxiety free!
I also scheduled a massage for the next day. This dual therapy provided me relief in about 3 days… with continued adjustments and massages 1/​week I was BETTER than normal in about 2 weeks. This place made such a difference! They also taught me stretches to practice at home.
The office staff is great and friendly and they have parking around back for customers. They take all insurances except United Healthcare (which is unfortunately what I have). The office is clean and comfortable and they even give you a bottle of water after your appointment to stay hydrated.
Definitely recommend to others!

I’ve been seeing Janelle for acupuncture while pregnant and she is fantastic. I’d been having headaches almost every day and after my first session with her they were down to maybe once a week. She’s helped some lower back pain too. I plan to keep coming! Everyone there is also really nice, I never have a hard time finding parking, and it’s a very professional atmosphere. Best of all, they are so quick with billing my insurance and making sure everything is going through smoothly.

I went here because my neck was killing me. Like seriously killing me. After many sleepless nights I went here for help. The office is very nice and clean and the staff is super nice and friendly. They offer massage, accupunture and chiropractic services. My first visit consisted of xrays and a consultation with a adjustment. That night Dr Eyford called to see how I was doing after my adjustment. Now that is a Dr that cares in my opinion. After 4 treatments I am feeling 90 percent back to normal and I am going to continue going until I am feeling 100 percent. If you want relifef and you dont want to take pills that are not going to fix a problem I reccomend going here!
