I love these guys. I had an 8 to 10 am appointment at my house and they showed up at 9:30. Jim and his partner where nice but we’re all about the job. They were quick and did quality work. In contrast, I would of paid safelight 120 more for a 3 hour time line. I am going to recommend these guys to everyone I know. Privately owned, not a chain, good prices, and ethical. Support this business.

I had my car broken into recently and was struggling to find places open on a Saturday to replace my window. I called around and got prices and availability. It wasn’t until I called microchip auto glass and the guy on the phone said he would check stock and availability and call me back within 30 minutes. As soon as I got off the phone with him, he texted me saying the price and that someone would be out within the hour. I was so relieved they were $ 100 less than Safelite, could do it same day, and would come to me. I had the pleasure of having Jim as my tech and he was quick and professional and even vacuumed the glass out for me! I was so impressed and grateful for this company and would recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future. Thank you!

My car was broken into on a Sunday morning and they had an emergency number to schedule something next day. Eugene was so helpful on Sunday and got us scheduled for the next day. The workman ship is marvelous. He even worked out a dent the bad aimed burglar created (I mean come on, if you are going to break the window, don’t hit the top of the door). Eugene was awesome and will definitely refer friends to them!

Can’t beat their prices or service. It was a very quick turnaround and it is a small company so you will more than likely talk to the person making the repair. Very professional. Would recommend to anyone who needs an auto glass repair or replacement.

I never ever ever write reviews but I have to for these guys! Long story short, my boyfriend and I just moved to a new neighborhood and were welcomed by someone who decided to break into my boyfriends 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid and steal water bottles from the trunk and an aux cord. This thief broke into our front passenger seat window. Any who, I called Microchip Auto Glass because of the reviews on here. I spoke to Eugene and asked for a quote, which was fairly cheaper than I expected, and so I decided to schedule an appt. The best part is that I didn’t even need to leave my house! They came to me. He said he was available the day I called and could be at my house in an hour. They were a few minutes early which was nice and all I needed to do was hand them the keys and let them know a little about the situation and my bf’s car. The front passenger door didn’t open from the inside and 2 of his windows don’t work. We were going to take it to a mechanic that week. Eugene said for the door all we needed to do was connect a latch, which he kindly did for us for FREE, and for the windows that don’t work he said all we need to do is replace a $ 17 piece on the door and that he would gladly install it for us for $ 20. I’m sure at a mechanic shop it’d coat much more than that and Eugene even texted me a screenshot of the piece I could buy for him to install to fix the windows. THEE BEST SERVICE in Tacoma. Awesome company! Great customer service! My car was broken into at the airport and I needed a window for my three hour drive home. I had to spend the night in town because everyone was closed. Microchip had the best prices and I would bet best service and they fixed my window first thing in the morning. Eugene was friendly, professional, and fast. He also fixed my door handle which was awesome! I definitely recommend this company and will use them again if the need ever arises.

Very fast service. They come to you which is awesome. They fixed my window and regulator at a good price for my 2015 Honda Accord. Very satisfied with Eugenes service and would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome experience. I called their number, they gave me an estimate that beat out three other companies I called. I even found a coupon online for them reducing the cost by $ 10. They gave me a ball park time they’d be by and were here a little earlier. The guy cleaned up all the glass and replaced the window. He was very personable and polite. They give a 3% discount for cash, just FYI.
The day started off really crappy and ended pretty well thanks to Microchip Auto Glass.

I highly recommend these guys. Eugene was the most honest and reasonably priced place repair in Tacoma. He was able to find a salvaged window in perfect condition which saved me over $ 200 if I would have had to buy it from the dealer. He showed up exactly when he said he would and did a great job.

My car was broken into for the second time last night. As you can imagine, I am just beside myself with anger. I soon realize I have to get this window fixed today because I have to go to work tomorrow. Skipped over the big boys went to the local small business. I always try and go that route when I can. At least 100.00 dollars less…

Cheapest price compared to everyone else I got a quote from by at least $ 50. Were in fact willing to undercut if a business were offering a cheaper service for replacing a windshield.

Thank you for making my day more easier. Fastest service ever. It was so horrible when I found out my car rear window (passenger) got smashed last night. Everything turned to pieces, called this number at 7:30 in the morning and got everything done by 1:30pm same day. The job looks perfectly nice. I would recommended this service to any else that need glasses fix.

I had a really horrible day yesterday when I found my car had been broken into and the window busted out. Microchip sent a tech out same-​day and he was friendly, worked quickly, and went way above and beyond to do a wonderful job. I was very impressed with the work and the careful detail that was taken into consideration when cleaning my car and installing the new window. I’m very happy and highly recommend this company. They also offer the best prices around. I called about 10 local places and Microchip not only had the best price, but guarantees their product with a lifetime warranty. I’m an extremely satisfied customer.

I would definitely use them again if I have to (but hopefully I won’t ever have to)! We called to get an appointment and someone was able to come out in 2 days. We weren’t in a rush so it was fine with us. Eugene called the morning of to let me know he was on his way and to expect him in 20 minutes. I waited and he came when he said he would. When he came, he disclosed that my crack may or may not be able to be repaired due to its size (it has doubled in size from the initial crack), but that he will try his best. I, then, asked for a quote on a new windshield if it couldn’t be fixed. The price he gave me was so much lower than Safelite.
Anyway, luckily for me, he was able to patch up the crack. The job took twice as long to do due to no sun. While he worked, I was upstairs in my apartment. He called to let me know it was done. I came down and wow! You wouldn’t even know I had a crack bigger than my hand. He answered all of my questions and assured me that it wouldn’t compromise the integrity of the glass. I signed off the form, paid, and off he went. Thank you guys!

Great service. Explained well of the front window of my Honda Accord condition. Took all the stickers and re attached them for me including GoodToGo sticker. Very pleased.

Really nice guy. Came to my house, fixed it in right there. $ 40.00 I thought was perfect for the service. Fast, priced right, and convienent. If I knew it was easy, I would have always fixed chips in my windshield. This is the company to use.

Ugh! I knew I shouldn’t have left a backpack in plain sight. Came back from dinner on the Seattle pier and found my window shattered to pieces. The quotes I received for other businesses were too high and many of them require you to come to their shop for replacement. I did a Google search and came across Dover’s windshield replacement which is backed by Microchip. I called and spoke to the owner Eugene and got the lowest quote. I called dozens of places and he beat their prices. On top of that, he was even going to come to me to repair for no extra cost.
Eugene was very professional setting up the appointment. He called to let me know he was running late and parked right next to me in downtown Seattle to repair my door. He even offered to vacuum the glass in my car, but couldn’t since he couldn’t hook up to an outlet. The job took less than an hour and my window was back to new.
SO happy that I found Eugene. Don’t waste your time calling a bunch of places and go with Eugene. Fast, affordable and professional. Recommending to everyone I know.

So, when you get a rock chip at 7pm on a Saturday evening, you can almost count on not being able to take care of it the rest of the weekend. Having just replaced my windshield a couple months ago, I was super anxious to get this fixed. I spent a good hour Sunday morning searching for a place that could perform a simple windshield repair when I found Microchip. I called and Eugene told me that they were setting up a pop-​up shop across from IKEA in Renton. He gave me the number of the rep working there and I was on my way.
The representative working was named Wenz. He was prompt, courteous, and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Within 10 – 15 minutes he was finished and I paid a minimal fee. Thanks Eugene and Wenz for putting my worries at ease on a day no one else would return my call!
