History
Established in 1997.
Originally founded as Therapeutic Massage Clinic in 1986, first in Kenmore, then in Bothell WA., the business was renamed Mission of the Heart Therapy in 1997, reflecting a deepened commitment toward healing on a broad scale, and operated locations in Everett and Kent, WA. from 1997 until 2006.
Moving to its new location in 2007, Mission of the Heart Therapy has its Studio and Healing Cottage in Tacoma, WA.
A second location has recently opened in Redmond, WA in the Overlake Business Park near 24th and 151st Pl NE. Both locations operate on an appointment only basis.

Kari Elliott obtained her Washington Massage License # MA00003277 in 1986. She has been developing her skills and broadening her techniques and modalities for over 28 years. Constantly striving to offer the very best care, she developed the CARE Approach, a method of pain relief and musculo-skeletal release for both chronic and acute conditions, that has proven successful for hundreds of clients. She works with entire families often from Grandparents to Infants less than 2 days old.
Having a naturally inquisitive nature and a keen intuition, Kari ‘s skill as a ‘body detective’ allows her to bring clients relief and return them to enjoyment of a flexible, healthy, vibrant life.
