Hate to break it to the other reviewers but this place is… a pawn shop. It’s for individuals of all walks of life who either don’t have good enough credit for a loan, are in a bad situation and need quick cash or not being naïve, your occasional dope fiend trying to pawn his sisters necklace in line who talks too loudly on his cell phone. Sure they don’t have someone at your beck and call while shopping but that’s probably due to the ten people in line demanding money they probably don’t deserve for the ten year old bike with a rusty chain. They have always treated me with respect and a smile both at times when I purchase which is a good 70% and at times I’m seeking to sell them an item because it’s just not selling online or locally. Other pawn shops at times will literally smirk while you try and sell or pawn, these guys, while super busy, always seem to try and be as helpful as their corporate policy allows them. Also have returned items with no trouble. The manager Andrea is pretty fantastic and trust worthy. Go here, stay away from the south Tacoma branch, it’s literally a worlds of difference in both customer service and quality of items for sale.

I agree, apparently appearances here are Very deceiving, the man working the floor was very nice and dressed well and greeted us with great customer service. Then we got in line and the woman In front of us was dancing all over the place to her horrible music and letting her 6 kids that she brought in with her run wild. Once her and her bus load moved out of the way we finally where able to be seen. The employees just let her stand there in the line in the way until the kids that where old enough to be left in the car where now being screamed at my their mom. This just put me in the wrong mood. Once I finally got to the section with a younger lady there to help me with the position«manager» on her badge she was very short with my husband and I and when we asked her a question about how they quote prices as we have not done this before she talked down to us. She was very unprofessional while working with us then flirting with her male coworker every time he walked by. My husband then was told the price that we where going to be given for our products then another woman which must have Been this woman’s manager ran right over and and told her that the price we where quoted for our products was too high. Mind you we had already started to fill out the agreement we had made with the girl that has been helping us. This place is very unprofessional in their business in many ways I would not recommend them unless u want to get scammed. Also if you decide to go there call before you head in as their hours of operation are wrong online.

Too bad I was a fan of this shop when I first walked in… Clean, organized and not creepy. That good feeling went out the wayside when I stood around for 15 min and not even acknowledged. Finally sales person came around and I asked what she knew about guitars, to which she replied a lot. Well needless to say not knowing the difference between the number of pickups was where I drew the line(first question). She tried to sell me a cheap guitar that I could buy on eBay cheaper than their inflated price. Too bad I liked a few of their higher end guitars and had money in my pocket to burn. Maybe it’s just me, but if I don’t know the answer I tell my customer I know the bare basics, but will find the answer and not BS them. This coming from a guy who has ran his own business for over 10 years a now.
