Established in 2012.

Founded by recent graduates of the University of Washington and entrepreneurs at heart, Blacktop Consulting is a registered trade-​name of In The Black Media LLC. In The Black is a media conglomerate that will one day be a large network of business opportunities and investments. 3 partners with 3 current focuses: Music, Promotions, and Business. While Kelly focuses on business through Blacktop Consulting, Travis and Ron operate Burnt Money Productions and Fly the Sky Studio which focus on music, film, and event promotions. What we all have in common is wanting all of our partners to stay profitable: In The Black. You could call us the Triple Threat. When our minds come together, we do great things.

Business Owner

Kelly has always had a knack for business and realized it was the best career option after winning a state DECA competition for Creative Marketing Project during her senior year of high school. This realization was further solidified when she helped improve her employer’s Mission Statement at age 19. A variety of customer service as well as management experience in the working world, combined with a University of Washington Bachelors Degree in Business Administration make Kelly a valuable member of all organizations she identifies with. After graduating college in 2011, the opportunity to turn entrepreneurial dreams to reality came about when a former classmate, Ron, asked Kelly to be a part of the management team for newly formed LLC, In The Black Media. Given the opportunity to work her own business with a team by her side, Blacktop Consulting was born. Kelly is in progress of changing the world… one business at a time.
