Food overall is good food. Tonight I had shrimp and crab bisque which was very good. I had grilled chicken it was very good moist and cooked right. Salad can b hit or miss depends on how long it’s been sitting there. Nothing special just simple-​salad, tomato, cucumber, croûton, and onion.

I came here a few times for lunch and dinner. I was never that impressed either time. I do like coming here to watch football and to just drink at late night. The wings are good and so is the free popcorn. Great beer selection and barmaids are always very attentive.

This is my FAVORITE place to go for dinner in Liverpool! Great service, Great food, and Great prices. I’ve never once had a bad experience here.

I have been to the restaurant a few times now, both for lunch and dinner. I went with a large group both times, and the food is ok, not great. We ordered a few appetizers, the nachos were good, but the potato skins were a little bit overcooked. Some of the meals arrived cold since it was clear the server had no help bringing all the entrees at once. While I enjoyed my meal, butternut squash raviolis, the three people who ordered steak were less than impressed. The overall consensus on the steak was it was bland, kind of like the overall experience.

Hafner’s is a local favorite. We are regulars to watch NFL games on Sundays. They do beer and wing specials for all NFL and Syracuse games. You can watch EVERY football game on their many tvs and it’s great because they label each tv with which game will be playing on it so you can seat yourself in prime position.
Their wings are great; popcorn is free in the bar area. I highly recommend their BBQ bacon chicken sandwich and the buffalo chicken penne. Other items are hit and miss. Trivia here is more difficult than other nearby places.

Went to Hafners tonight to meet up with my girlfriends for drinks. The 2 female bartenders totally avoided and ignored us unless we actually said, «excuse me», can we get a drink, water, a menu, or order food. Very poor customer service. However, as soon as 3 men joined our group they couldn’t be more attentive to them!!! Still not us!!! I am a bartender in AZ, I have never had or given such rude & poor service to ANYONE that enters my establishment!!! Wake up ladies… women tip better than men.

Decent beer selection; fresh free popcorn at the bar. Trivia on Wednesday nights; we won a $ 50 gift card.

Went in for lunch today with my mom and we had great service. The only thing I could complain about there was the side salad that my mom ordered was SO plain. It was lettuce and an onion.

Walked in. No hostess for 10 minutes. Good beer selection. Waitress didn’t know drink specials or drink list and had to go to the bar to ask. We ordered dinner after waiting a while to order. The food didn’t show up for an hour. The place was at most half full. The waitress didn’t come back for drinks during that hour. The food was OK, but after waiting for so long, it was barely worth eating. What a dissapointing experience. The owner came by and apoligized for being understaffed. The waitress constantly blamed the kitchen staff for being slow. Doubt I’ll be back.

A solid local spot. Won’t knock your socks off, but you will leave full.

I rate overall per what the establishment is & does. 1. Been there for many years & friends eaten there: Affordable and done like cuisine. Well flavored, good portions, I had the BEST Burger I’ve ever had in the World there a few weeks ago! 2. Staff, are very friendly, very good & always friendly and smiling as well. 3. Décor is very warm country pub like & good location for the bar & a an outdoor deck and fence. 4. They recently began some Live Music, so you can pick your time to go & be entertained as well. 5. It is easily located close to Rt 81 & the Thruway for travelers & for Hotel stays. 6. Family friendly? Yup very. 7. Sports: you can catch the games without it being a louder «sports bar». 8. Very Top Cuisine? Close enough to it at these reasonable prices… so it’s a very good balance for most any occasion or meal. Good dishes, good bar, with friendly locals & staff. — Travelers, It’s a good stop & choice. Locals it’s a must try or support. It’s Been there and popular a long time for good reasons! Ya know? !!

Very busy bar year round. Expect a bit of wait. The ambiance is great inside and out. My girlfriend got the Cuban sandwich with kettle chips and I got a chicken sandwich. Pretty good but the two dollar up charge for French fries was annoying. Would go back again for drinks.

Went there after shooting pool around 8 o’clock on a Saturday night I had the prime rib was a perfect cut of meat and made just how I like it my wife had a chicken salad she said it was great and had the potato skins for a appetizer was the best I ever had great place will go back great job.

What a delightful little neighborhood tavern where everyone is welcome and New York accents are humming about. It’s too cute, really. We got here around 10pm after going to the New York State Fair and luckily they were still serving items from the bar menu, which was pretty much everything on the regular menu. After eating fried foods all day, it was nice to see salads and portabello mushroom items on the menu. They also have burgers, paninis, kettle chips, fries and sweet potato wedges. Needless to say– lots of options.

We atedinner here on our stay. The food and service was great. The «fat man» sandwich was excellent. We also had wings and mussels for appetizers. We would definately go back.

I have been here with my husband many other times. Service has been good and food excellent. I will definitely be back and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Hopefully next time we will get our food on time.

The burgers are the BEST: fresh, done exactly to order, and on a roll that perfectly holds the patty while absorbing the delicious juices. I had the blackened Cajun burger – rare – which was sort of a litmus test as to their burger expertise. It was Perfect!
The house salad dressing is an orange-​balsamic, which is really yummy, sweet-​tangy, and like none I have had before.
The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating as we came in without a reservation on a busy night. We sat on the bar side, which was casual, noisy, and good-​natured. We were greeted with a large bowl of fresh popcorn, which was perfect as we were traveling and were very hungry from the get-​go.
We will absolutely come back if we return to the area! I will give it a 5 if the second visit is as good!

Good sandwiches, and it would be a great atmosphere if it weren’t for the fact that the bar and the restaurant aren’t separated enough so you hear awful touchtunes music while you’re sitting in the nice rustic dining area.
Prices aren’t spectacular, but definitely reasonable.

Had good times at Hafner’s when I visited The ‘Cuse a few times during the last year, and my most recent trip to this fun bar last Thursday night was a blast too.
Hafner’s is a super-​casual woody old school sports bar with a mixed crowd. You’ll find plenty of devoted NY team fans here, but it doesn’t seem to get unbearably crowded. For example, I noticed several open booths and plenty of standing room space during Game 5 last week.
The large gravel lot makes parking a non-​issue.
Don’t you dare leave Hafner’s without getting the sweet potato chips, trust me! The chip texture is medium – not too soft but nowhere near hard like potato chips – and they come with a side of maple syrup for dunking. Mmmm…
