History

Established in 1978.

Cannon Pools has been a local family owned company for over 40 years. Co-​founder, Bob Malzman, was instrumental in the growth of the swimming pool industry in Upstate NY. There was a time when pools were considered a luxury only attainable by the affluent. Bob is famous for saying «I want to bring the pool to the common man.» We build and design pools to meet every budget, taking the same meticulous approach with a 24′ round aboveground pool as we do with a custom inground pool.

Our experienced employees have installed over 20,000 swimming pools — more than any other inground /​aboveground pool builder in the Eastern United States. What started as a small local company has become the premier pool and spa builder in the northeast.
