There are only good things to say about Hayes. I brought them my Tahoe after an accident damaged the front end. They fixed my car in just one day! I am so amazed and grateful. I’ve never experienced such incredible customer service. They’re the most dedicated people I’ve interacted with probably ever. I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I’ve had 3 experiences with Hayes. 1) they fixed collision damage, 2) replaced a broken door handle, and 3) gave me a cursory quote after hitting a deer. The collision damage repair looked nice, but they returned the car with the automatic window not working (they fixed it later). I still have a rattle in the driver’s side door that started after their work (something’s loose inside). They needed to order a part to fix my door handle… but never called me back (as they said they would). I called after ~ 5 weeks… they forgot about me. Most recently, I asked for a quote after hitting a deer… they looked at the car, took my info… told me they would call… they never did.
They don’t seem too interested in taking care of their customers!

Have I mentioned that my nickname is Crash? I’d like to think that these objects called cars magically appear out of nowhere and crash into me. And in NO WAY is it my fault, it just can’t be. But, when my car does have to go to the car doctor and I lived in the corn I would take it here. It’s a family run operation so pride is a main factor in their work.
They quote time and stick to it, and they also stick to the budget they give you. They are as sweet as pie and to my surprise they went the extra yard and cleaned the inside of my car. I don’t think I have EVER seen my car look as clean as it did. Well with the exception of the first ten minutes that I owned it.
If you know someone in Dekalb/​Sycamore area who’s recently crash recommend Hayes’/
