Waffle House

Service was better then Denny’s and the food came out fast and right. I would go to this WH again…

This is the place to be if you have an appetite. This is on the top of my list Everytime I come to the south. Everything was good.

FYI: Best cook arrives @ 9pm! He’s awesome & so is his food. Tried this location via «To Go» last Tuesday night & when I got back to eat, it was all messed up. Took everything back & the cook was more than happy to make things right. Watching him cook I knew he was a long time cook @ Waffle House, 10+ yrs. if I remember right.
Food was yummy & I’ll definitely be back after 9pm! Thanks!

When driving around Gwinnett County, looking for a Waffle House, you may feel overwhelmed by the many options.
You may wonder which WaHo is the cleanest? Which has the most motherly waitresses? Which has cooks who won’t get pissed when you order steamed hashbrowns? Which still has «Raisins in My Toast» on the jukebox?
The answer is this one.
This is the best Waffle House.

So as we were driving down the road, we kept seeing all these Waffle House’s. There are at every stop! So, we decided that we had to stop and check it out.
Since we were in the south, I was expecting that I’d get fried chicken and a waffle. It wasn’t what I expected. It’s kind of just your average breakfast place, like a Denny’s.
We ordered the All Star Breakfast Special per recommendation of the waitress. It came with the waffle, eggs, toast, hash browns… the whole deal. It was cheap and it was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised.
The service: The women in there were really nice and cracked me up. They were SHOCKED when we said that we’d never had grits before. She told us how she liked them and all the ways that people liked to eat them. The waitresses were cracking jokes the whole time… They really helped to create that happy and welcoming vibe.
If you’re on the road and looking to stop somewhere friendly for a basic meal, I recommend the Waffle House. I can’t say the same for every other location though…
