First time at this location. And I was very disappointed. My server seemed like he just didn’t wanna be there. Just nonchalant. Expressionless. I mean, that’s all fine and good but our food? Oh no… Our food was cold. I sent it back twice and it came back cold every time. Their plates were hot but not the food, showing that it had been microwaved. My steak was cold. I just ate it as is… I got sick of the wait so I just told my servers I’ll eat it cold. I don’t like microwaved food. I don’t know who does?

The manager lectured his employees for 8 – 10 min and then decided to get himself a drink as we sat in our booth watching this all take place. It was so nice to see the man take care of himself before his customers. We finally got 3 waters after I came to the counter… all along, the manager continued to lecture his wait staff and left the restaurant unattended. May not ever come back.

Very little bacon on club. Super bird(their signature sandwich) could have melted the swiss… lunch meat turkey used rather than larger chunks used at some denny’s I have been. If this place goes out of business. .it will NOT be missed. Staff very pleasant, though. If this is a franchise location, corporate needs to look at what they consider acceptable. If it is a corporate location, Shame on how your values have slipped. Either way… no value to the meal. for the same price you can eat at cracker barrel across the street or a better meal at waffle house next door for less.

I really don’t know whats going on here. The Denny’s franchise has clearly spent significant time and effort with a re-invention of itself and after several MONTHS of being open, this location continues to struggle with everything. The service is very«loose» and the food quality is below that of the previous«legacy» Denny’s locations i have eaten at. I really want this to succeed, and was happy to see the opening of this location. I went there on opening day and 4 times since over the course of about 6 months. I expected bumps and he service at first and that I would see them clear up over time, but no. Still clanky and scattered service and random food quality. It’s time for management to step in and re-evaluate what it’s doig. There is some flaw in the system here.

the place is clean and the food is good. period… ok i must warn you that it seems as if the waitresses may be new and not sure what is on the menu. we were one of two tables the day we went. Our waitress was young and sweet, but bless her little heart she messed up the order. She tried to engage us in conversation but it was just awkward… she struck me as this was her first job… everyone has to start somewhere… I observed the manager and felt his pain. he had one waitress that wasn’t playing with a full deck and the other was just green. I would never go during a busy time bc they really couldn’t handle the two tables that were in the restaurant I can only imagine what a busy sunday or saturday would be like… Like I said, the food is good, you may not get what you ordered the first time, but it will be good and hot when you do…

Newly opened restaurant. Cooks and servers appeared disorganized and having been seated at the bar near the kitchen, I could hear the chaos. Food was warm but hash browns were not cooked well as asked. Toast was cold. Pancakes came out 5 minutes before rest of meal. Food 2 – 3 stars, service 2 stars. Store has WIFI

You can expect growing pains, and these reviews are pretty accurate. My server Jeremy B. was very friendly but the kitchen and management seems a bit of a mess. My order came out incorrectly, as did the orders of the tables around me. The staff seemed to spend a lot of time apologizing to tables. Also took forever to pay. You have to pay at the front as you leave but it wasn’t attended for several minutes as I was trying to pay. Food tasted okay but won’t attempt return until they get their act together.

Everyone’s one star review hits the nail on the head. Don’t waste your time here. You’ll enjoy the Waffle House and their service next door!

Delicious food and great service. We finally got a Denny’s and I love it. The restaurant has a sleek design and the skillets are delicious. Try the Bourbon Chicken Skillet with a side of tortillas. We will be back for seconds.

Probably one of the worst experience I’ve had in awhile have celiac disease which prohibits me from eating anything with gluten in it. First off if your going to have gluten free products on your menu the manager and staff should have some basic knowledge of what gluten is and what it means to be gluten free. When our food was brought out it was cold and greasy. We asked again if everything was gluten free and the waitress stated that the hash browns were not gluten free. Well if the menu states that something is gluten free it has to be prepared in a gluten free manner. After what seemed to be an eternity of back and forth with the waitress and the kitchen staff I finally requested the manager come over and all he kept saying was people make mistakes well that doesn’t really work when it comes to people with food allergies are you trying to tell me if I had a nut allergy you would still cover my food in nuts and let me eat it… the only thing the manager would say is we’ll make you a fresh plate to take home well if you can’t make it right in the restaurant what makes you think I would take the chance of taking in home and getting sick. All in all I am very disappointed with my experience do not recommend this place at all.

There are some serious growing pains here which is very surprising for a franchise. I over heard from one of the servers taking to another table that the owner had 19 of these and how she just came in from the Stone Mountain store so not sure I get why it would have so many problems. I waited longer than expected in a not even half full restaurant for server all minutes to be seated and there were several people sitting at the counter with Denny’s shirts on. My waitress was very friendly, but had no clue about the menu. Almost every table around me I heard apologies… Family in booth in front of me «No she had the pancakes» Table to the right of me «This is not what I ordered» booth behind me «This is cold and was supposed to come with toast» it was like being in a television show the servers were all apologizing about the kitchen or the mistakes that were made and of course my item came out less than perfect. The longer than expected wait and fruit all alone, eggs all alone and then the bacon to follow. They were out of Turkey bacon and so I got one slice and a turkey sausage patty. The fruit was pretty good quality, but my coffee was not good. On the plus side they had a plug at my booth and there is free wifi in the restaurant. That aside I think this Denny’s location has a lot of work to do in order to get things moving efficiently. Never saw a manager on the floor and the servers although friendly seemed confused at times.

This was our first visit to Denny’s and will be our last. Though we were seated fairly quickly and food came out fast, the food was not good at all. From mystery meat to under and overcooked food, it was inedible. We ended up walking out after taking one bite. Manager seemed more upset that we weren’t happy with the food than understanding. But he did comp the food. I can’t believe people pay $ 10+ for a dish here. Can’t say much about the service since we didn’t stay to finish the meal. However, I did feel compelled to leave a review for this particular location because the overall experience was so terrible.

Came in around 8:00pm to a half full restaurant with the majority of tables already having food. Was seated promptly and that’s where the good ends. Sat and waited, waited, and waited some more. Twenty minutes go by and our table wasn’t acknowledged by any staff member. Wait staff walked by, the host walked by, the manager went by several time yet no one took a drink order or even looked at the table. Got up and walked out. Save yourself time and just say screw it. It isn’t worth the hassle.

Do not waste your time or money here. This is my 3rd time coming to this establishment(if it even deserves to be called one) each experiance has been worse than the last. The only reason I’ve given it another chance is because the food has been semi-decent and one of the servers, Colette was very good and our food came out correctly by some miracle. After my experiance today, it is safe to say that the rest of the staff is incompetent and rude and can barely take a drink order so forget having your meal come out right. Management seems clueless. Needless to say, will not be coming back.

Honestly, this has to be one of the WORST experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Our waitress seemed very out of it and was very impersonal. She seemed preoccupied with something else and didn’t seem to pay attention to us at all. Our food took probably 30 – 40 minutes to get to our table after we ordered and it was subpar. My brother asked for a coffee refill and a different waitress came back 20 minutes later with coffee that had been sitting on the counter for a good 15 minutes. My friend and I asked for water and our waitress actually never came back. A different waitress came back with our check. It was honestly a terrible experience. The chefs seem to be understaffed because the manager was in the back cooking with one chef. Overall, I give it a one star and recommend going to the Waffle House next door.

Went to this Denneys with my three year old grand-daughter. We were sitted in the twilight zone. Waited and waited, maybe 20 minutes. No waitress assigned to my seat. Finally a waitress showed up apologizing. We ordered and after 10 minutes everyone knows how a three year old can be. We left.

Good food but horrible service. The waitress that I had was extremely nice and I could tell that she had a lot on her plate, but lots of issues. Food was sitting on the counter for 15 mins, food was cold(was sent back), toast came out cold(both of them), no butter on pancakes, and maple syrup was slammed on our table(by the manager). Now my boyfriend and I were really calm about the whole thing but as soon as she slammed the bottle of maple syrup on our table, I lost it. How rude? We didn’t complain once about the bad service and didn’t even receive warm food. Cmon. But I told the waitress not to get upset about the whole thing because I know it’s not her fault. Needs to fix the service.

I am from the west coast where you can find a Denny’s on ever corner like waffle house here on the east. To me Denny’s is a cheap go to at night if you are not looking for great food, but this location changed my view of Denny’s. The service was great and it was very clean and quiet inside. They did mess up my order but that is going to happen anywhere you go. My waitress corrected the issue immediately and did a great job making me feel welcome and checked on me frequently. For me this was a great experience. I ate here for breakfast and I would recommend them if you want a change from Waffle House. I was surprised to see such low reviews and ratings so I wanted to share my feelings.

Came here for brunch expecting the usual Denny’s at this new location. We got there and was told the wait 25 to 30 minutes. They were busy so all was pretty normal. As my wife and I were waiting, we started noticing people that came in after us were being seated before us. We started paying more attention to what was going on and then we started to notice that all the people being seated before us were all African american. Scratching my head, I started looking around the small mass of people waiting to be seated and realized they were the Asian, Hispanic, and Caucasian people. There were some Indian people but it looked they got tired of waiting and left. Anyway, after all the African American people were seated, the hostess came out scrambling trying to reorganize the wait list. I am thinking, why not just go down the list and seat whoever came first and split the groups to the party size? Finally, the hostess? calls me to be seated and makes a smart arse remark and seats my wife and I with an attitude as if she hated her job, her life, and as if she hated dealing with people who just gave up 30 plus minutes to eat at at a Denny’s. Not very accomidating… nor friendly… After being seated we waited about 5 to 10 minutes and no one came to our table. No one came by to ask us to be patient or offered any sort of customer service because obviously they were under staffed. We patiently waited and eventually decided to just leave. We didn’t cause a scene and just left quietly. Waiting was not the issue, it was simply the principle of customer wanting to eat a meal at a restaurant. Moving forward… You fine people of Unilocal decide if this is a place where you want to eat. No customer service, suspected racism, incompetent management and staff. I get it, working a job is not always fun, but if you work in the customer service industry, try to put on a smile please. Cheers.
