This place has terrible service. It’s really hard to communicate with the servers because of the language barrier. And because of that, my order was messed up. The General tso’s that I ALWAYS get, was of poor quality and seemed like you were tasting frozen packaged 10-min chicken you buy from Kroger. And when I tried explaining how my meal was a bit different from the usual; the waitress completely cut me off, over and over. She didn’t even give me time to let me speak my thoughts on my meal. I wouldn’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming to this place.

My honey and i stopped by this place during our excursion to downtown Suwanee for their Friday Night Food Truck event. It’s located in the Suwanee Downtown Square near Mellow Mushroom, and parking can be hit or miss depending on what’s going on. For this particular night, parking was tougher to find than Waldo in a Candy Cane store. This location serves both Chinese and Thai cuisine, for those that just can’t decide their taste buds. They have a very broad menu of options, so that is a plus. You walk in, and notice it’s a very small restaurant but they make it work with the bar on the left hand side and enough tables to seat around 40 – 45 people. I did like the ambiance, and the chandelier in the center. The chairs were over-sized and comfy as well. This place mentions on the front that they are Unilocal friendly, and they do have a check-in offer of two spring rolls with purchase of $ 20 or more. Make sure to ask which Spring Roll is included with the check-in, as we had a small problem with that but they fixed it. We started off with the Thai Basil Rolls, as we both love them, and a beer/glass of wine. Our favorite place serves them up in 6 bite size pieces. This location serves two long rolls, w which is equivalent to 6+ smaller portions. I liked the rolls, but the plum sauce they served with it was lacking in punch, and they don’t have a peanut sauce to serve with it. That was a fail for my honey. The Spring Rolls we received for free with the check-in were just ok. They didn’t have much flavor, and i had to coat mine with the duck sauce for it to be semi-edible. I’m glad we didn’t pay for them. Our service was decent for this experience. My meal was the Thai Fried Rice with chicken, and i did enjoy that. It wasn’t the best, and i wouldn’t drive out of my way for it but it hit the spot. I guess i’d describe this place as just that as well … it hit the spot but i wouldn’t drive out of my way for it.

So my boyfriend and I decided to check out the Suwanee food trucks and decided to eat inside since it was so muggy out. We stumbled upon a Chinese/Thai restaurant and decided to check it out. The restaurant is quaint and small. Service was decent but not exceptional. My boyfriend’s water glass had something on it that looked like dried food. Ewww. Anyway we decided to try some of our favorites to compare to some of our favorite Thai restaurants. Sadly they just didn’t compare. The basil spring rolls did not have the option of peanut sauce. What Thai restaurant doesn’t have peanut sauce?! Anyway they were decent but not super fresh. I decided on the Pad Thai with tofu for dinner and asked for Thai spicy. The food was really just okay but the spice was pretty good. It didn’t have that great flavor to it and just tasted okay despite looking pretty. Overall I was really disappointed but I guess the reviews were on point. It was average at best, and I won’t be back.

I come from NYC and I’ve become obsessed with pad Thai since I first tried it in the city. Upon coming back to GA for the summer break, I missed what NY had to offer in terms of quality pad Thai and pad see ew. I was looking on Unilocal a couple days ago for some pad thai places and the closest one was this one at town center park. I’ve been here countless of times for their delicious slushy bubble tea drinks but never actually ate here. I was reluctant at first because the pad Thai here seemed too syrupy and saturated with color… Basically the same color as the Thai iced tea I ordered… Needless to say, the noodles were too mushy, the sauce for the pad Thai was not what I had imagined, kind of tasted tomato based? I can’t really describe the flavor of this dish other than the fact that it just was not up to par with all the pad Thai dishes I’ve had back in NY. It wasn’t the same flavor I had fallen in love with at first bite. I’m a pretty open minded eater when it comes to trying out new foods but never again will I order their pad Thai… Kinda tastes like corn syrup diluted with water and orange food coloring… You could taste the flavor of the rice noodle and their rice noodle was very mushy and thick… For the price I paid for this place, was not ideal. I did buy their curry fried rice which was okay. Not fond of the pineapples they put in it though. Really caught me off guard. All in all this place is over priced, not extravagant in terms of flavor, and was not what I had expected.

I hosted a Gwinnett UYE last year and never got around to reviewing them but have told countless friends to check them out in the past few months. They are your typical Chinese/Thai fusion restaurant. The food isn’t spectacular but you definitely won’t be disappointed with your menu options. Plenty of food per entrée and it’s easily accessible at the Suwanee Town Center. This is the second location of the«Golden Seven» restaurant duo and service here is fantastic. Full bar, great Asian themed décor, comfy seating and the staff is super friendly. Their 2 for $ 20 special is a great deal if you’re open to sharing two entrees, splitting an appetizer and dessert. They also have great lunch specials. I’m a fan of their Moo Goo Gai Pan, Green Curry with Chicken, Pad See Wu with Tofu and their Sesame Chicken. Their Chinese menu options are never greasy and most entrees come with steamed white rice. If I’m ever craving Thai or Chinese and am at the Town Center, I’ll definitely be returning with new friends in the future. Check them out if you haven’t already! P. S. Their Thai iced coffee is spot on!

My husband and I have a difficult time finding great Asian food options in Gwinnett and often have to drive to Chamblee for real flavor. But we love this restaurant and are so happy we found it! This restaurant is located in the Suwanee Town Center right near the franchise chain stores. Most people come to Suwanee to hang out and be seen so I can see why the local clientele does not appreciate the authentic flavor of this restaurant. It is probably not the ideal location for this ethnic flavor. We ordered some appetizers and shared two entrees. To start my husband ordered a cup of the Tom yum soup — Thai spicy. You can choose your degree of hot and he agreed. Thai hot here is VERY hot. The soup included fresh cut mushrooms and tasted great to him. His only suggestion was to ask the server for a lime wedge to squeeze on it since it was missing the normal citrus flavor. It is a small adjustment for an amazing soup. I ordered the crab ragoons which were crispy and fresh. The fun part is that it was served in a boat! I ordered the fried fish panang house special. The panang sauce is peanut based and has a rich flavor. The sauce came in a variety of heat degrees. I ordered medium heat which was actually quite hot but so yummy. I do not know what I loved better: the sauce or the perfectly fried HUGE piece of fish. It was so tender and despite being covered in the sauce it was still crispy. Just like the fish I had when I was in Thailand. It is the dish that represents the flavors, size, and freshness like food in Thailand. My hubby ordered some dish that is authentic Thai that is rare to find in most Thai restaurants so he was amazed it was cooked perfectly and had fresh ingredients. Our server was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant was empty at 3:30pm on this Thursday afternoon but she treated us with great attention and was excited we loved the food as much as she does. I honestly can not wait to go back and we just left.

I am a fan of Chinese and Thai food. This is a little gem of a find. I live locally and it is a must try. If you like this type of food I would recommend you give it a try. Quite place and clean environment. The service is quick and the server is friendly. The food is cooked very well and not greasy. I recommend the general Sao chicken and basil fried rice.

We come here about every two weeks and enjoy a great meal. They have a two for twenty menu that suits us perfectly. Also they are always very attentive and my son loves the bubble teas.

This place is great! Very nice dining in atmosphere, however the service varies. The service is always quick and great, but it is the friendliness that varies… some of the wait staff act like smiling hurts their faces! Both the Chinese and Thai options are full of flavor and huge portions. I’ve had many of their soups, and they make an awesome hot & sour. Reasonably priced as well. Try the Thai iced tea, they make a good one!

Great thai curry. Pad thai noodles were sweet I think chef is getting confused with thai and Chinese. The Tom ka soup tasted OK mushroom pieces were huge(and they were the cheap ones). They should improve their ingredients.

Food never disappoints each time we come here. Friendly waitress and we love the ambience of the restaurant. Perfect for dates. The pad Thai is my go to meal. But if I want to switch it up the massaman curry never disappoints. However, wish the rice portions were larger. Their Thai tea is usually a hit or mess.

I went here with a group of friends on a Sunday and shared a meal. We ordered the $ 20 for the choice of appetizer, two entrees, and a mocha cake dessert. We chose crab rangoons(4 pcs), sesame chicken, and moo goo gai pan. Though I was expecting to eat Thai, I essentially ate Chinese food. It was mediocre food, and the mocha cake was not something I liked. Yes, I’m picky with desserts, I took a tiny bite to make sure and I thought it was too sweet. I do know that this mocha cake is actually part of a large mass order that comes in this box. I guess that didn’t help my decision. Essentially, I spent over $ 10 on a meal that I probably could have eaten somewhere else. However, it was great company that night, so it was worth it :)

Golden Seven Two is a nice little Chinese and Thai restaurant located in the Suwanee Town center. I came with a decent sized group that they were easily able to accommodate, which is a positive! Pointing out more positives, golden seven has some really delicious flavors while dining in. I ordered the Cashew nut chicken with steamed rice($ 9.99) and the chicken was breast, tender and not chewy at all. But what really stole the show for me in this dish were the veggies in the accompanying sauce. They all were super fresh and popped with flavor, from the celery to the broccoli, and I typically don’t like crunchy veggies in my Chinese, but man, tasty! Honorable mention goes to the sesame chicken that I tried, which was some of the best sesame chicken i’d had. Wow, you gotta order that! Another positive are the deals, like the two for $ 20 deal, which I did not get, but included an appetizer, a choice of an entrée, and a small desert cake. Pretty sweet. Definitely don’t forget to check in to get your two free spring rolls with a $ 20 purchase. On to the negatives for me… I also ordered a to go order of General Tso’s chicken with fried rice($ 11.99), which I didn’t eat until the next day. I gotta say, the food(or at least the general Tso’s) doesn’t seem to hold up well to refrigeration, as the chicken breading was slightly mushy, I didn’t like the flavor at all, and didn’t finish it. The fried rice was simply okay. I ordered the two meals to take advantage of the two free spring rolls, but let this be a lesson guys… ask in advance for the free spring rolls, because they’re smaller than the menu order rolls, and if you just order two spring rolls as I did in advance, they ain’t free. The menu order spring rolls, if you’re interested, are pretty tasty, and definitely larger, but the free rolls were simply okay, FYI. Customer service was hit or miss. It was very nice of them to give me a complimentary slice of cake for the mix up, and I really do appreciate when customer service goes the extra mile, but they at one point took the 2 for $ 20 deal menu right out of my hand when I told them I didn’t have a plus one in the group I was with. I mean, I could’ve wanted to order both! I will be back to Golden Seven Two, if for no other reason than to try the amazing sesame chicken that I had(it really was that good ya’ll. You’ve GOT to order that). But until I do, it’s 3 stars for me.

This place was really good. I ordered the Massaman Curry and it was really tasty. My wife got the Pad Thai with chicken and she really enjoyed her meal as well. The service was great. It’s a nice little quiet Thai restaurant tucked into Suwanee Town Center. We have always heard good things about the restaurant, so we decided to pop in. It was quite nice.
