Fairfield Inn Suwanee

Ended up at this Fairfield Inn after an altogether different hotel chain cancelled my reservation I suspect because they had oversold rooms. And the other chain was horrifically unprofessional and unhelpful even though they were at fault in cancelling my reservation. Felt as if I had arrived in an Oasis as soon as I walked in the door here at Fairfield Inn. The gentleman at the desk was so kind he discounted my room due to my bad experience at an unrelated hotel chain. Now THAT is above and beyond service. I am so very impressed. He also offered me water and asked if I needed help to my room. He explained all of the amenities… pool, work out room, free breakfast and was just incredibly pleasant. His name is Raul and I think he has a bright future. Love my nice, quiet, comfortable room. Happy night to all

We recently stayed in this hotel for the weekend due to the passing of my father in law. We are a family of 5 and paid for 2 rooms for everyone to get ready for the service comfortably. We also chose the hotel due to the pool for the kids to have some down time.
Unknown to us the hotel was under total renovation. What was a very stressful travel for us was made even more uncomfortable due to zero comfort in the lobby (no lobby) no pool and breakfast was squeezed into the tiny exercise room.
Very disappointed that we were not informed in any way and it was too late to make changes.

Room was clean but the air conditioning unit was not up to par. Also, beware of parking. Had our truck broken into and the hotel did not have any security or cameras. They have signs that they are not responsible. They were aware of the situation but didn’t say until anything until we had been broken into.

Clean room… little small. no queen beds. but comfy.pool is clean but cold… very nice staff and very quiet…
I feel we paid too much for the outdated room and slow internet

Of all the parts of the hotel that I enjoyed most, it was the young lady working behind the front desk at check in. (Hopefully, I’ll remember her name shortly and be able to update the review with it! She was working the Friday evening before Memorial Day.) She was just awesome, friendly and helpful.
The room was okay; I don’t really think it’s a ‘suite’ or a separate room if there isn’t a door or a full wall, though. The couch bed wasn’t too comfortable for our 21 year old son. But the room was dark and quiet. My sister’s room (two queens) was also comfortable.
Breakfast downstairs was good. Parking was free and easy. Getting to and from the hotel was easy, and there were a few chain restaurants nearby (including next door Applebee’s).

Good service and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and spacious but a little outdated. They have complimentary breakfast with a good selection for a small hotel. They also have an indoor pool. We would stay there again.

Ok all advertisement and website States and shows photos of hot tub.
The Pool door states «Pool and Spa».
They filled in the hot tub and walled it up.
Said the up keep was too great.
Maybe if we don’t stay here and vote with our Wallets. They will put it back.
Also the Indoor pool was cold.

I stay here atleast half the time I come to Suwanee to visit my daughter, great location and very friendly Staff The rooms are awesome. I love to get the ones with a balcony. Awesome place to stay a few days. or more.
