History

Established in 1997.

Dr. Bill Williams practiced dentistry for 23 years in Stone Mountain before starting Suwanee Dental Care in Suwanee in 1997. Since that time his award-​winning practice has been featured in several national magazines and in 2005, Dr. Williams was named the Small Business Person of the Year in Gwinnett County by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Dr. David Hayward and Dr. Jeremy Smith are two excellent partners who have joined Suwanee Dental Care over the past five years. They set the standards in Gwinnett for cosmetic, implant and sedation dentistry.

Dr. Bill Williams is an Auburn University alumni and a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in 1975. He is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, a TMJ Neuromuscular organization for highly trained dentists. He received the Ron Lamb award in 2007 from the Christian Dental Society for being the top missions dentist in the USA and Canada. His training extends into all fields of dentistry including orthodontics, TMJ, reconstruction, oral surgery, implants, endodontics and periodontics.

Dr. Williams was the past president of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry, the Atlanta Craniomandibular Society, and is board eligible for the Diplomate status of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He has authored chapters in four dental texts and has been a speaker at scores of dental conferences across the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia.
