Imagix Dental

Now I know I can be a little careless with setting dates and times for appointments so I rely very heavily on my smart phone to assist and remind me of important dates. And as much as I thought that I couldn’t possibly be wrong about the time of my appointment today «Beerrmp» I was dead wrong!
Thank you Kandy for helping adjust my son’s Ortho appointment because I screwed up the time! The front office team is awesome!

I had a great experience with Dr. Raymond Epstein placing three new crowns. Unbelievable as it sounds, when I got the numbing shot I could hardly feel it! After the first one, he let the medicine take effect so that I could not at all feel the other shots. His experience and light touch is evident in his treatment practices. The doctor’s assistant Ulysses was also very skilled. A bonus was that everyone in the office was very professional and courteous. I am going to return to Dr. Epstein and this office for my future dental needs.

waited 1 hour before going back to a chair. charged for item that my child didn’t receive (I was with her 100% of the time to verify). performed unauthorized services that were not covered by my insurance, then tried to bill me for charges. dentist claimed my daughter had 3 cavities; since my daughters have NEVER had cavaties, I took her to another pediatric dentist for a 2^nd opinion and found that she had NONE.

Being fairly new to Suwanee, I recently found myself in need of a new dentist. I had actually been going to the same dentist (Dr. Wilcox in Peachtree City) since I was 5, making special trips back «home» to see him. I loved my old dentist & didn’t think I’d find a place I like quite as much!
Lucky for me, Imagix Dental was a top search result when looking on the Cigna website to see which dental office was closest to my house. And, when I noticed they were located in Suwanee Town Center, I was in! I just love Town Center, but that’s another Unilocal…
Imagix can be a bit tricky to locate your first time, as you have to enter their building from an unnoticeable entrance on the street and take the stairs or elevator up to the third floor. Imagix is actually located near the private party room for Ippoloto’s — FYI.
I walked in, was pleasantly greeted, filled out my information, sat in the nicely appointed waiting room for a few short minutes and was taken back to the x-​ray room.
Ugh… time for the dreaded x-​rays. 12 of them! This was not my favorite part, but the x-​ray tech was beyond sweet & my dental hygienist (can’t remember her name, but SO nice!), who brought me from the waiting area, actually was there the whole time, chitchatting, making this usually uncomfortable experience quite nice.
It was then, time for the regular cleaning & checkup. All went as planned {No cavities, Mom!} and that sweet hygienist was actually able to hold a great conversation without me letting spittle slip out through the whole thing, ha!
Of course the dentist stopped by. he was extremely personable & knowledgeable. They actually raised the back of my dental chair, so we were face to face & he wasn’t looking down on me, again a nice little detail.
Overall, just a great dental experience, in a cool office, full of wonderful people in a great location! Plus, there’s a Rita’s Water Ice/​Frozen Custard location right below where you can celebrate your positive results : —)
