Horrible customer service. Will never recommend this company. I was forced to use them through my Sears warranty. Took them almost 2 weeks to get my part in. Once it was in, they came out and couldn’t fix it because they didn’t unplug it the first trip to have it defrost. They never told us it needed to be defrosted. So while the technician was trying to get to the part, it was frozen solid. As he tried to remove the back panel, it cracked. No big deal accidents happen. He left the parts at my house and said the company would contact me that day to schedule an appointment for the following day.
The company never called. I called them the following day and they told me that they have to wait for the back panel to arrive (estimated date of May 16) because they won’t come out two times. The back panel does not affect the appliance from working. I told them that was unacceptable because these were all their mistakes.
I spoke with Sears to put in a complaint and they contacted the company to repair my fridge before that part comes in. I called them back and now all of a sudden they were going to fix it but can’t make it out until Monday. Prior to us being upset they always told me that they do same day or next day.
I spoke with Josh the manager who is unprofessional and rude. He kept making excuses. He said they couldn’t come out because the parts were on a truck. I corrected him and told them they were at my house. So he had no response. His next excuse was that they had to send the same technician. I told him that the technician left the parts so if they sent someone else they would be here.
The manager was rude and raising his voice at me. He told me to plug my appliance back in and that it would work for at least 2 weeks. When I asked him if it stops working or freezes again will he replace my lost food. He said no because it wouldn’t be his fault. But if your telling me to plug it in guaranteeing me that it will work fine, but
won’t back it in case something happens that tells me your not 100% sure.
He was so disrespectful to me that my husband got on the phone and voices were raised on both sides. The manager actually hung up on our phone call. Worst customer service ever. I called Sears and they will be sending out another company to correct this. I refuse to allow this company to step foot in my home.
I would give this company zero stars but Unilocal makes me give at least 1.

Same as other reviews. Forced to use these guys because of a Sears protection agreement. Sears sent them out on a Saturday to diagnose my issue. They had to order a part. I was told 3 – 5 days. A week later, I got a message on my home phone saying they had my part. I called and left two messages for two days without a return call. The third day I called, the woman who answered told me they do not make Saturday appointments (?!? Sears does…) so I had to take the day off to get my washer fixed. The day of the repair, I was told they would be out between 8 – 12. They guy didn’t show up until after 1 PM. He replaced the part that was ordered and then told me that I needed another part, which would be another 3 – 5 days. He said he would expedite the part and see if I could get a Saturday apponntment, since I had to wait so long. He left water and gunk all over the laundry room floor and the water started soaking into the adjoining rug of my living room. So I had that to clean up too! A week later (so I guess he didn’t expedite the part…) the new part came & I was called to make an appointment. The woman who called told me they do not make Saturday appointments (even though the guy said I could) and she wanted me to do another 8 – 12 appointment. I told her I couldn’t do that because I work so she reluctantly made an appointment for after «3PM» for two days later. They showed up at 5:30 and fixed the washer, but again, left the laundry room a mess, the appliances were askew and I had to push them back into place myself, there was water, again, on the floor and again, soaking into the rug and they had used several of my kitchen towels in a half hearted attempt to clean up some of the water on the floor. I guess I should have been great full that the entire laundry room floor wasn’t wet this time but it’s hard to be happy about a job that I have to clean up after! This company is just not professional and I would never use them if I didn’t have to and certainly would never recommend them to anyone I know. I plan on contacting Sears and telling them that if they are going to continue to use this company, I will be canceling my service agreement and going elsewhere for service.

I had to use this company due to my Sears agreement. Well, almost 2 weeks later they are scheduled to come out to replace a heating element. .not sears fault but this company doesn’t have the resources. Also, pretty sure the tech that diagnosed the problem didn’t know what he was doing. He Googled possible problems and then guessed. So I am pretty sure I am going to be without a dryer come my appointment for repair.
Dispatch was polite but did absolutely nothing to get the appt scheduled sooner. No appt reminders, nada. Also I was told 2 to 3 days for the part. A week later and me calling to complain did I then get an appt but set out for 2 days later with a 4 hour window.

Our experience was completely different than that of the other reviewers. My phone call was immediately answered by someone who was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient; the tech Josh arrived well within the allotted window and called ahead of time. More than that, he presented himself professionally, and was able to immediately diagnose and fix our LG fridge’s issue. Price was in line with other repair companies and clearly explained. Would use again.

Visiting out of town. Person in a van from this company came up behind me speeding, passed me on the right running a red light giving me the finger from the driver window. I don’t know about there appliance knowledge but I would beware any interaction with these folks.

I too was forced to use this outfit from AHS, as the first Applifix outfit walked away from my washer after 2 weeks of changing my washers parts… then they’s save my old part and reinstall it back into the machine after they thought it wasn’t that and then gave up… well this place Appliance Rescue (yeah right) came in gung-​ho and ordered theee part that would fix our washer… installed the main computer… didn’t work and they washed their hands and walked away leaving me to the next AHS contractor who if they can’t fix it will most likely walk away as well… what a racket… think I’ll get a truck… paint it with some appliance fix rap and get on the ahs bandwagon of inept techs who couldn’t find their… blank in a blank…

Same problem as the other review I’ve waited a whole month for my washing machine to get fixed they come out look at it then don’t order all the parts and nobody seems to give me a time or date I wouldn’t use his company again

Forced to work with this company via the home warranty company for a washing machine that stopped working in my rental home.
No one answers the phone (female British accent on the voicemail which is funny). Callbacks come afterhours, from a restricted number, so if you happen to miss the call and you call the main number back, you are stuck with the voicemail again.
Put in the call on ¹¹⁄₇ and still haven’t heard back. Canceling the service call so that I can attempt to get assigned to a different technician.

Started receiving mail under this business’ name all of a sudden. Sounds like a good case of identity fraud. Tried contacting the owner, no answer. Went to the address listed above… Oops! Invalid address.

I have never had a more negative experience with a contractor than the experience that I have had with Appliance Resource & Rescue. After coming out to my home to examine my broken washer, I was told that they would be ordering a part the next day. The next day came and went, as did the entire next week. I made multiple calls to the contractor and received no response. Whenever I was lucky enough to actually get someone to answer the phone, they were not able to help me, and simply said that their supervisor would call me back, which didn’t happen. I even asked for the supervisor’s phone number and I was told that they were not allowed to give out his phone number. After paying Appliance Resource & Rescue $ 75 for a service call and waiting for 3 weeks, with no response, I have had to start from scratch with a new repair company. This has been a horrible experience and I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through this. How is it that a company like this can still be in business?

I agree. Appliance Resource called to cancel an appointment that I especially made for the 21^st. That is a week and a half from now. They just said too bad. We don’t have anyone in your area that day. I said but this appointment was already scheduled. They said. Too bad. Call another company. How professional is that? I would strongly advise you to use another company
