Wonderful experience!
I am doing a small tile repair. Basically 2 tiles and Chris Cruz went totally above and beyond to provide assistance. I was about to check out and I asked the young lady if anyone had tile experience or extra knowledge since clearly this is all new to me… She called Chris over.
He helped me to choose exactly what I needed to enable a smooth and easy experience.
At the register when I was about to check out he took a second trip to the back of the store to grab another item for me.
The cashier was friendly. I really appreciate their team work!
The store was clean, well organized and offered many options for customers wanting to improve their home and garden.
So after checking out he even offered to put the tile in my car AND the customer behind me to help put her grill in her car… So sweet!
Fantastic store! Way to go HOME DEPOT! I will continue to shop here for the total package experience…

This is some of the worst service I’ve ever had! First I had to ask many times to get someone to help me try and get the patio set down it ended up taking more than ½ an hour just to get it. I then had to wait more than 20 additional minutes to get someone to take the plastic off and help me load it in the truck. I was going to buy a grill here too but after this experience at this location forget about it!

This is my go-​to Home Depot and while I am certainly not the handiest of fellas, I have picked up various things here that I’ve needed for the home.
The store itself is what it is. Home Depot is pretty consistent from store to store with usually the same layout/​selection/​prices. Where this one shines is with the customer service. I’ve had to deal with them a few times now and they’ve been top notch. First I bought a portable AC when my home AC broke. Unfortunately the portable AC was busted… so I had to return it. Super quick… I had my money back in a few minutes. Most recently I had to exchange some lightbulbs and I accidentally got store credit not realizing the new bulbs would be a lot cheaper. The customer service team figured out a solution and got me the cash back.
When it comes to chains/​big box stores it’s ALWAYS customer service that separates location A from location B — and as far as I’m concerned the customer service here has always been exceptional.

Stopped at this Home Depot to peruse the power tools selection today and hopefully pick up a circular saw Christmas present.
I was thrilled to see Home Depot had plenty of staff working. I’d been in the store maybe two minutes and two employees in separate locations had already asked me how I was and if I needed assistance. They told me which aisle held the saws, and off I went. I picked out what I wanted, and went to find the safety goggles. Luckily, there were another two friendly employees at the end of the row, who directed me to the correct aisle. Then it was off to the register for a speedy and friendly checkout.
This shopping trip went exactly as you hope a trip to Home Depot will go. They had what I wanted at a fair price, and plenty of friendly and helpful staff to go around. Well done.

Great store that is easy to get to for people that live west. They usually have everything I am looking for but they do need to hire more staff to help with questions.

Home Depot — you hired a young girl who obviously doesn’t care about her week-​old job. And it makes me wonder why you hired a warm body with no interest in customer service.
Here’s why I say this:
Working in the area alone, she ignored another customer for 15 minutes. I guess you could say she was multitasking, if you consider letting a kid her age hang with her at the computer and flirt with her as she worked.
The employee told me she used a different paint base than the one two formulas called for. So instead of putting the formulas on the labels she just printed ones that said ‘color match’. She told me to be braced if I came back to buy more and another employee says there’s no such paint.
She shook the sample size paint cans by hand, as if it was salad dressing. When I asked her to use the mixing machine she said they don’t do that on samples. I told her that they do at the Sunrise Home Depot on University Drive. She asked a co-​worker who just came into the area to verify they don’t do it. Instead he told me he’d use the mixer.
After putting dabs of paint on the lids (directly on top of the hand mixed dabs) she pushed 4 jars towards me. I said that she needed to use the hair blower to dry the paint on the lids. She told me that she didn’t do that because customers don’t mind wet paint on the lids. I told her I wanted the paint dried and she told the other employee. He picked up the hair blower and put it down next to her hand. She seemed put out by having to flip the button and hold the hair blower up for 30 seconds.
Then she left the area to go get a can of spray paint for the kid who’d been distracting her the whole time. She didn’t even tell me she was leaving in the middle of helping me. She just went to hang out more with her friend. What dedication!
I asked the other employee where the rest of my samples were and he said they were still in the mixing machine. He got them out, put the paint on the lids and dried the paint.
Especially considering the newbie told her friend she only had 45 minutes left on her shift, and he said he’d wait for her, why couldn’t she just do her job until her shift ended? Because she’s an uncaring, irresponsible kid. That’s why. Home Depot, do you not have any discretion about who represents you? I have a large house to paint — inside and out — don’t you want me to want you?
We may select a Behr brand paint but we won’t make the purchase at this store. Home Depot, why don’t you care?

The Millwork department at this Homedepot is difficult to get help so you need lots of patience.

Wanted to carpet my rental unit, so I went to Home Depot because of there heavy advertising that it’s only $ 97 to lay the whole house and it can be done in 72 hours. I asked if there were any other cost and was told that it would be $ 35 to move the furniture in each room if I need them to. I figured total cost around $ 1300, so I had a rep come out to measure. What a waste of my time. Estimate was over $ 1700. They forgot to mention $ 300 to pull up old carpet, $ 50 per room to move furniture because it looked heavy — a total joke, $ 60 nuisance fee for condo and BTW it can be installed in 7 to 10 days. Decided I will go somewhere that my business is not a nuisance.

I have been to this location and the one on University south of Oakland Park. I prefer this location. I have purchased items in the store as well as online and picked them up.

Friendly cashier. What I don’t like is when I needed some help, no one was around. But I got help from the customer service area to help me with item since i was nearby. She was helpful and nice.

Decent store, could be better stocked and have friendlier and more interactive employees.
The only thing I cannot stand is when you are trying to shop and you are hounded by the home services salespeople who are just relentless. Here’s an idea, if I want to refinish my cabinets or need any remodeling I will come to you.
Other than that, it is well located and serves its purpose.

This is my regular Home Depot and we’ve never had any issues with this place.
The garden department is well stocked with lush, healthy plants (including herbs, veggies, and fruit trees).
Even though this is the smaller layout of the Home Depots, I’ve never had any issues with being able to find/​order items. The customer service has always been helpful and accommodating.
