Avoid going here! This dentist ruined the teeth of my entire family (of 4). He claims to be an orthodontist but after years my son’s teeth are seriously misaligned. We have taken multiple opinions and every dentist/​orthodontist thinks there’s a huge problem. We have shelled out thousands of dollars fixing our teeth — extractions, new braces, root canals, and more. Phew!!!

I did my Orthodontics with Dr. Singh and he sure is the best dentist. I was 23 when I went to him with a totally dis-​aligned tooth (among few other issues) hoping for a correction, he got me the braces (I chose porcelain ones) and within ~2 years (which is not bad at all given my age), I got my smile back ;)

Dr. Singh is supposedly a dentist AND orthodontist, however, I went through two phases of braces with him over the course of about 5 years and my teeth still are not straight. They stick out in the front and it is extremely disappointing to me that my parents spent thousands of dollars hoping to fix my teeth. After this, we left Dr. Singh’s practice and I had a second opinion from Dr. Sasaki in Los Gatos. He said that 4 of my teeth should have been pulled out prior to me having braces. Unfortunately it’s far too late and far too expensive to have this fixed.
Also, he never informed me or my parents about any of the procedures he was about to do. With no question, he pulled out this tool and began shaving my back teeth without me even knowing what was happening. Me, at the time 13 years old, just went along with it because I didn’t know how to ask him to stop. Since, my bite has been off and it is extremely uncomfortable all the time.
Finally, his receptionist Jennifer can be in a good mood sometimes, but many times she has been rude to my family and very moody.
I HIGHLY discourage people from going to Dr. Singh, unless they prefer having procedures done on them without any explanation, or being disappointed.
(However, I must say Dr. Singh is an incredibly friendly and kind man.)

Excellent Dentist. Not a multi-​dentist facility, a dentist focused on you, your oral health, and how you feel. Never overly rushed and always attentive.

We have been going to Dr. Romy Singh office for the last 10 years, he is the best dentist we have even been.

Dr. Singh is the best! My fear in going to the dentist went right out the window. He is gentle, soft spoken and very quick. After dealing with so many different dentist in my lifetime it is a pleasure to meet someone such as Dr. Singh.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Singh for the past 24 years and he is one of the best that we have experienced, all I can say is that for those who have had a problem you have to understand that when you deal with the public, you deal with some jerks and whiners in any business you’re in, He is one of the top Dentists in the bay area, and even so someone is always going to complain and you cannot please everyone. I would like to ask the people that are complaining about the receptionist, I want to see you do her job with 30 to 50 phone calls a day and do you think everyone going to be happy and jolly especially when there is severe pain. The reason Dr. Singh does not get rid of her, Why would you get rid of someone that is outstanding at their job for so many years. DAH ! For those that complain as you can see there is more positives than negatives, but some people love to complain and their relationships with others be it a wife, girlfriend or co workers is all the same way, complain, complain and their still not happy and want more for nothing then get everything and still complain !
Congratulations Dr. Sing and your staff especially your beautiful Receptionist Jennifer for all the help she has given to our family over the years and many more to come.

Dr. Romy Singh has been taking care of my elderly father’s dental needs for years and years. Each time, I have been so impressed with his concern, his treating my father as a real person and not just a patient, and his doing such a great job of caring for my father’s teeth. Given that my dad is quite old now, he has more erosion of his teeth, so Dr. Singh always gives us the options very carefully and informs us of the pros and cons of each choice. He doesn’t try to «sell» any solution. At times it was our choice to do a tooth implant and his prices were very reasonable. At other times, he was ok with my Dad just leaving things alone. I think he has tremendous respect for elderly people and has a very kind heart in addition to being extremely good at his profession and the service he provides. He is a blessing in the community.

The staff is very honest and lovable. I get checked in and seen right away and the hands that work on my teeth are sooooo gentle all around.

I initially thought we are visiting a lady, but then we were told it is a guy. We are happy for the reason that he is on time, take our insurance coverage and nothing charged to us.
But first I had severe pain after the simple clean. My spouse experienced that too for her deep clean. Next time was much better.

Great Dentist in South Bay. Very honest. he will never ask you to perform extra things if not needed. I’ve heard bad things about front office. But, my experience was very nice. Make sure he make an appointment well in advance if you’r going for regular checkup.

OMG! Looks like there are others who have had the exact same experience with Dr. Romy Singh. Great dentist. Honest and does not upsell.
But — his front office is Horrendous. They are mean, rude and obnoxious. I wrote Dr. Singh a letter. I just cannot understand why he won’t do something about it.
I have recommended others to him — but I refuse to go back to him till he fixes his front office.

There is absolutely no doubt that Dr. Romi Singh is one of the very best. It is also true that he values clients’ time as much as he values his own. And it is also a fact that his front office is the lousiest I had ever seen anywhere! Can you imagine the receptionist telling you that she is so busy with ‘other’ work that she does not have time to attend to phones and she has ‘heaps of voice mail’ to attend to and that is the reason she does not call back? If you want a more unfriendly voice reminding you about an appointment, you do not have to search any farther! What is more surprising is that Dr. Romi Singh seems to be very satisfied with such service, even when it is brought to his personal attention! I have lost a very good doctor only because of his front office!

I, and my wife, have been going to Dr. Singh for a couple of years now, based on a recommendation from a satisfied friend. I’ve been very pleased on a number of fronts:
For one, I’m always very quickly in and out. Past dentists I’ve had to wait for as much as 20 minutes after my appointment time — here I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait as much as even five.
Doctor Singh too is very quick and efficient. He doesn’t leave you waiting in the chair, he doesn’t sit and gab — he just gets his work done. He cleans you personally — no separate hygienist, although he does have an assistant to polish you off.
Another big plus is that he’s never tried to sell me things I don’t need. My other dentists have always tried to find ways to make me do things I really don’t need — whitening… early filling replacements… whatever. And I haven’t had him even suggest such things once.
I think Jennifer is great. I can understand why some people may not make a personal connection — but she’s always been great about reminders, she always gets to the point on my insurance without confusion, she gets me in and out of the office without waiting. And I think she tries to be friendly in her own way.
In summary, I suppose what you want in a dentist is up to your tastes. It’s not the sort of place you’re going to sit in the chair for an hour gabbing with the staff — but they care for your teeth and are very effective and efficient.

I’ve been a patient for at least 10 years. Dr. Singh is professional and pleasant, and I’ve never experienced pain in his office. My husband has had a similar experience. Each hygenist has been terrific.
There was an earlier comment about his receptionist, Jennifer, and I think she’s great! Friendly and professional, and she has a good way of juggling patients waiting, phone calls and payments.

His receptionist on the other hand should seriously be replaced. I work in an office where we need to be nice to those who are on the phone and coming in to the office and she is just not a friendly person on the phone, you should not look at the caller ID on your phone and not want to pick up the phone knowing that someone with a bad attitude will be on the other end. I have sat in the waiting room and listened to her complain about checking the voice mails, also there is a way to be stern on a phone call and there is a way to be rude and obnoxious, well she has not mastered the stern part. I seriously miss Girly every time I walk in that office now.

I have been going to see Dr. Singh for about 15 years, he is the best. Always makes me comfortable and does a great job.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Romy regularly for over 15 years and he’s been great every visit! Always friendly yet professional and he makes going to the dentist a relatively painless experience. His receptionist, Jennifer, is also a great person to work with too and is always very helpful.

Romy Singh is a very friendly and efficient dentist/​orthodontist. I have had a great braces experience here (I only mean as great as braces can be), and have had no problems with his work. I love the staff– they are super friendly and nice, and their office is great about personal phone reminders for appointments.
p. s. –love the new upgraded free toothbrushes with rubber grips. :)
