The best dentist I ever had! I used to be afraid of them, not anymore. Dr. Simel is a real pro w great attitude and service orientation.

He is very gentle. I am 12 years old. His dentist place is very clean and sanitized. I like going to him. They also give you a little present at the end.

My family has been going to Dr. Simel for many years. His wife Pnina and his staff are always friendly and helpful. But most importantly, I feel like I can really count on Dr Simel for his professionalism and integrity. He does only what needs to be done, and then he does it well! You will never find yourself with a filling you didn’t really need (unlike other dentists I’ve been to). He is very personable and puts you at ease, so even the more nervous family members are comfortable in his office. I highly recommend him.

I don’t live in the area anymore but I think Dr. Simels office and his staff are so great that I come back whenever I need dental work. I simply can’t bring myself to trust anyone else.
I would give 6 stars if I could. If you hate going to the dentist just give this place a try and it will change the way you feel about that bi-​annual visit. Cannot recommend enough!

Family friendly. Finally a Dentist toot can actually trust. We’ve been taking our kids here for years. They work with almost all Insurance providers, and are very accommodating.

I have been going to Dr. Simel for over 7 years and think him and his staff are awesome! Very friendly and convenient location. Also accommodating with appointments and changes.

Professional, caring, no-​nonse dental office. Had a crown done here in 2011, as well as a cleaning. After the initials X-​Rays, Dr Simel noticed that an old amalgam filling had cracked and there was secondary decay under the filling. He referred me to Dr Fotovatjah of Peninsula Endodontics, who did my root canal. After two more painless appointments with Dr Simel, I had my porcelain crown in place and have had no problems with it since. Aviv, the hygienist is gentle and thorough with identifying problem spots. The receptionist is very helpful in scheduling appointments around your schedule. Sending my wife and son here next!

I love this dental office! They use hi-​tech equipment I didnt see anywhere before. The service is amazing, everyone is super nice, they take the time to answer all my questions, especially Dr. Simel, he is always there to make sure my teeth are in perfect condition. He was the first dentist to actually tell me about the night guard, can’t believe how others didn’t know why my teeth are crumbling and cracking. And I’m endlessly thankful for that.
Aviv is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had, she is so gentle and sensitive to my needs, always making sure I’m comfortable. The cleaning never bugs me, it never hurts, and the teeth look perfect every time. She taught me the right way to floss, she sees exactly what I’m doing those 6 months, how I’m brushing and flossing, unbelievable. The time passes by so fast, conversations with her are very interesting and I feel like I don’t want to leave when she’s done with the cleaning. And every visit I get a goody bag full of useful stuff, every time something different, I get excited like a kid. I feel lucky and highly recommend this office.

I’ve been going to Doctor Simel for several years now for regular cleanings. I think I can safely say that no one really likes going to the dentist (any more than they like going to the OBGYN), but at Dr. Simel’s the environment is so positive – they are like a family that welcomes you in – so you don’t feel as bad about having your mouth poked around in. :-)
There is something very personal about the entire office and Doctor Simel himself. You feel like you know him better than you know your other doctors. He seems more genuine.
He really likes technology, so everything in his office is brand new. At my last appointment, the x-​ray machine had been upgraded to the latest model and there was a big LCD screen hanging right below the ceiling, with a concert playing to keep me entertained during my cleaning. It’s these little quirky things that somehow make the visit almost enjoyable. :-)
Last, but not least, Doctor Simel has good hands. So you don’t feel as invaded or as pained when he is poking around in your mouth. Like I said, certainly not least!
Bottom line, it’s a dentist’s office… Sure, I would rather do a million other things than sit with my mouth open as someone is scratching metal on my teeth, but if you have to go to a dentist (and most of us do, every 6 months), this is the one to go to!
PS Totally digging the upgrade from body lotion to hand sanitizer in the goodie bag this time ;-)

Dr. Simel is awesome! My family has been going to him for years. I personally am not the biggest fan of undergoing any medical endeavors, but I love coming in here. Dr. Simel and his staff always tell you everything that will be done (whether it’s cleaning, filling in a cavity, etc.) and explain the procedure to you. And, you always leave with a bag filled with a new toothbrush and random goodies :-) I remember when I was little I would get full Klutz craft sets — those things are expensive!
They are very kid friendly — have toys for the kids, interact with them, etc. This is probably the only person in the medical field that I have encountered that I would give 5 stars to.
