Safari run is the best place to come when it’s cold and raining outside… Specially I prefer to come in the afternoon not much crowd at all which is best part. Very nice and clean… And safe place for children as well…

My five year son and i have been going to safari run for last two years and his my go-​to place during rainy and winter season. I really like it because of their commitment to cleanliness and presence of courteous and pleasant staff. later is extremely important to me as my child a special sensory needs and sometimes he doesn’t wait for me to check in. The staff always encourage me to settle him in play area first and pay a bit later. Most of the staff member knows his name and always greet him. This makes a mama very happy.
I have not had any of my events at safari run but i have attended many birthdays and parties and they all have been very enjoyable and well — organized.

Clean facilities and a good alternative to Pump it up’s for B’day parties. Beware of their estimates for number of pizza required for your party though and order extra couple of pizzas.

We e been here many times kids love it! What the adults love about it?.. It’s spotless! There hasn’t been not even once where I saw something dirty stained or out of something. The staff is very professional and nice. The price is so reasonable! There is also a nice area for the adults to chill in if you also have infants that’s a very comfortable place to be in and no benches. It is on a small side and if you come here only with one kid, they might get bored but it’s a great place for play dates!

Clean place. I initially thought it was a very small place and that my kid would get bored very soon. But my kid didnt want to leave even after 2 hours.

What do you do with a 2 year old, who Is pent up with energy, on a rainy day? Take him/​her to Safari Run! I took my 2 year old and he loved it. This place is pretty clean and I like how they ask you to wash yours and your child’s hand before using the facility. It smells and feels pretty clean, too! The slides and obstacles are loads of fun! However, since my son is not 3 years old, I had to go through the obstacles with him. My only suggestion would be that they make their «little cub» or 3 and below area bigger. Other than that, I would definitely recommend & go to this place again!

I like that it has something for both older kids and toddlers. We have had good time when we attended other kids parties here. But I would give it zero star if I could based on our own experience.
We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday. Within first few minutes, multiple kids hurt themselves on their slide which I havent observed before. The staff assigned to us said it’s a fine line between making it too slippery or less smooth for kids to slide off. Then they spent few minutes to wipe out that slippery lotion. Which was lost from our party time. Plus the kids were then scared to go back on it.
Then next issue I have is around cake time. They wouldn’t let my child cut her cake!!! They said it’s their policy. What ridiculous policy is that. They should put this on their website. Do they not understand purpose of birthday cake. It’s meant to be cut by child. We are talking about one single cut with blunt knife not to cut whole cake. My daughter was very upset that she didnt get to cut her cake. I dont know if it was the staff that was assigned to us that day.
Overall, we are not coming back to host here. Pump it up does much better job in time management and making the birthday child feel special.

Great place for a extremely organized birthday party. My niece turned 3 today and she had the best time here with all her little friends.
As I mentioned this place is extremely organized to a T. They have 3 areas for a party. First you start in the main play area. You get about an hour of playtime. Make sure you have socks for both kids and adults or they won’t let you play. Then you move to the dining room, where they have a long dining table with about 30 kid sized chairs. They also have about 6 high top tables for the adults. All food must be ordered in for delivery or brought in. We ordered pizzas for the kids and brought sandwiches from Costco. They get about 45 minutes to eat and sing happy birthday. After the dining portion you move into the next room for entertainment Because my niece is obsessed with Frozen we chose Elsa to come in. She was very sweet and played games with kids, told some stories and then ended it with making balloons for every kid. She entertained for about 30 minutes.
I thought everything was well organized. Just make sure to book your birthday party at least a month in advance.

My review has two parts:
1. As an indoor play area– I really like it. I have a 4 y/​o and 6 y/​o and they both equally love this place. They cheer everytime I tell them we’re going to SR. They really could spend more than an hour there with their hair matted from the sweat. The kids get a great workout! Yes, the tiger slide is fast but aside from that I think the place is awesome. If we compare it to places like Billy Beez I actually prefer SR. It’s smaller, so easier to keep an eye on my kids. Way more affordable (they have a groupon!). Comfy leather couches. I think at any play area that involves kids (even the play space in Valley Fair) some parent is going to find some problem with it. It’s just inevitable. I could easily say that I hate the fact that at Billy Beez it takes me forever to find my kids. Or I could worry that when my kid is in the ball area they’re going to get hit in the face by a shooting ball. I could say the same thing about a playground! Anything that involves children there will always be a risk of injury because will somehow hurt themselves whether intentionally or unintentionally.
I do agree that the weekday times are tough and I’m a school teacher. I have the luxury of getting my kids to the 3:00 play time but that also means I sacrifice my work time to do this. That is the reason why I put 4 stars. Maybe if they added a 4:00 hour and start weekday parties at 5:00 it might be a bit better. Overall, as a play space I love it. We’ve been there over 10 times and every time the cleanliness of the facilities are consistent. The staff are always reminding the kids to wash their hands before playing.
2. As a party place– BEST PLACE EVER! We just hosted our kids’ joint birthday party there a couple weeks ago and I thought it was top notch. I have attended so many kid parties at jump places, studios, play spaces, etc and always hated them. The party room was small, it felt like the kids were just left to go nuts. Albeit this is a play area so the kids were running around like animals but I love how SR ran and handled things. Our guest list included children ages 2 – 12.
For this, it requires bullet points.
* They have a designated parking spot next to the ramp for the parents of the birthday child.
* Upon arrival a staff person immediately came out with a cart ready to assist with party items. I barely stepped out and there she was!
* They were very efficient on organizing what we brought and I appreciated that they let this Type A mom and her Type A cousin go into the party room beforehand and set a few things up the way we wanted. Normally it states that they can put up the decorations.
* The party room is amazing! It was beautifully decorated with all the walls painted to resemble a jungle. They had a big counter to hold the phone as well as a see-​through fridge that held the drinks. There was a long table in the middle for the kids to sit. But the best thing? Along the walls were tall tables with bar-​like chairs for the adults to sit and eat! Who would’ve thought!!! At every party I’ve been to that has been at a play area the party room was teeny tiny so there was only space for the kid table. Adults had to crowd around, holding their plates, hoping that their food doesn’t accidentally land on their child’s head!
* The hour of play went smoothly. They did a 10-​minute organized game, which I thought was just the right amount of time and engaged all the kids.
* They did a great job of leading the kids to the party room without incident. And as a teacher I really loved this part. Instead of leading them to the party room, opening the door and hustling everyone in I loved that they didn’t rush everyone. They had the kids line up against the wall, gave a few guidelines, and then opened the door. Taking the time to do something like that helps set the tone and creates a better environment.
* During the lunch the staff went around and served US. They even came up to the adults asking us if we wanted more pizza. Halfway through they even engaged the kids in a game of I Spy using the paintings on the walls. The kids loved it and totally got into it!
* Food: we ordered various types of pizza, salad, fruit, and drinks. They outsource to a nearby pizza and sandwiches place. I wouldn’t say it was overpriced but I also wouldn’t say it was a good price. But, I get it. It’s a party place and they have to make some sort of profit. There was a lot of Indian-​inspired pizzas and I wish I could’ve ordered them all but we provided a range I did get the pizza that had butter chicken and it was sooooo good!
* If you have a party here I recommend getting the first time slot. It feels less chaotic when arriving since there isn’t another party in session upon arrival.
Overall, I think SR is a great place. A few friends that were guests had never been there and were excited to come back.

Another business that only caters to non working parents.
How do they stay in business?! How could I ever want to throw a party here when you can’t come to check it out?
Check out Billy Beez for more accommodating hours. Our toddler loves it!

I gave one star to this place since the only time I was actually able to get in here for 15 minutes it was fun.
I tried to go here for about 6 different times.
First time I found out it closes at 6pm — What kind of logic is that since you just pickup your kids at 5?
Second time I found out on weekends the place is closed for private parties.
Third time I went on Fri at 5PM and guess what — it was closed.
Maybe it’s a nice place for parties, but generally I would not recommend going here without at least calling first.

My 5yr. old loved it! Nice and cool inside, a great way to beat the heat. I like that they charge hourly– $ 8 per hour, and you can come back and add time if you want to stay longer. Very reasonably priced for a fun filled hour. Nice waiting area for parents too.

My daughter who will be three in a month and I went here for the first time today. Overall it’s very clean and was a great time.
She was still definitely a little small for some of the obstacles. She definitely needed help getting up-​and-​down on things. Also the slides are VERY fast! We saw more than one kid fly off of the slide over the landing mat and onto the hard floor. Make sure your kids have grippies on the bottom their socks to help slow them down.

Wow is this place CLEAN! Finally a kids place that actually does NOT smell like pee and dirty feet! Kids are on winter break and the house cleaners came so we decided to get out with some friends and play. We had 1 hr to play there and honestly the kids were done at 60 mins because they were playing hard. They were all read and sweaty! My kids 19 months, 5yr, 10 yrs, and 11 yrs old got great exercise while I got Mommy time with my friends on the comfy sofas in the play area with full views of the whole place. Now my 19month old needed his sister at all time to help him though. And I definitely would not bring a group of kids over 8 to play as its geared towards kids 2yrs-​7 yrs in my personal opinion (I have 5 kids and am a child development specialist). My 5 yr old did NOT want to leave. So of course I know we will be back! Kids bought some snacks and drinks which are way over priced FYI… So bring your own. Another fun kids place to add to my list! Keep it up Safari Run!!!

We had some errands to run in Sunnyvale and I was looking for a place my 1 year old and 4 year old could do together without tiring out mommy too much! As we come all the way from Danville it is quite a drive and definitely not something I would do on a regular basis but I would definitely plan a play date with some of my friends in the South Bay area here.
First of all this is the cleanest indoor play area I have ever been! I have never seen such a clean facility that’s catered to children! I also love the fact that every child has to wash their hands prior to entering the facility! I wished they all would do that!
The climbing structure offers such a great experience to the children that you don’t need adult directed activities that is offered at Pump It Up. For 8 $ an hour your child gets great exercise and fun! (as well as the adults if you dare going up that thing!). My 15 months old is very active and likes to keep up with his older brother so this was perfect for both of them, but it might be not worth coming with crawlers as the infant/​toddler area doesn’t offer much.
I wish I would closer or they would open up a branch near where I live I would definitely come more often and plan my son’s birthday parties!

Clean, open and well-​lit space, safe equipment, not-​blaring music, helpful staff, air conditioning, comfy parent seating, and the kids have a blast getting out their energy. Perfect for elementary ages, with a small corner for toddlers only. A hidden gem in my own backyard!

Safari Run (SR) is a indoor playarea with a giant play structure. Came here for a private birthday party. It’s located right across the street from Sports Basement.
Cleanliness — SR is very clean. Everyone has to wash their hands before playing. I love that. Socks require to play. No dust, crumb on the floor. 5*
Play structure — SR has one big play structure with couple different slides. Might be a little challenging for kids under 2. The slide is pretty high up. Watchout for the orange slide, very fast. Equipment kept very clean and top condition. 4*
The staff is very efficient and organize. We were only allocated certain amount of time for play and eating. Staff made sure we kept to schedule. 4*
SR has snack and beverage for purchase. You can also order pizza through SR vendor. Pizza was just average. You can bring prepackage food for your party like fruit salad, chip and salsa, etc.
SR is great to checkout once or twice. I just don’t think I be a regular. The only entertainment is the play structure, my kids would get bored easily. I recommend coming here with other kids to make it more fun. SR has plenty of parking, and very easy to get to.

My 3 year old loves this place. I like that you have to wash your hands before playing.
And, according to the lady in charge, they clean/​disinfect the structure everyday.
They have a summer special right now for 5 visits for $ 20 or 10 visits for $ 40 that is valid thru 9÷30÷14.

I hadn’t heard of this place until my six year old had a birthday party here today. I had read the other Unilocal on this place, but had to see for myself.
To start off, the kids all wash their hands in a very nice, very clean handwashing station before playing.
The entire play area is within site of the front. By that I mean I’ve been to other places that there are multiple exits where kids could escape and you’d never see them and you have to keep roaming around hoping to catch a glimpse of your kid once in a while. The front of the place is pretty much for adults — it’s an area filled with very nice couches and chairs for grownups to wait. It’s nice — you can see the entire area from the seated area. That by itself is awesome. I just wish they had a liquor license…
Anyhoo, the kids were gathered up by a nice young lady, played some games outside in the play area, then washed their hands to leave and went and had the birthday party. Their food was waiting for them when they got into the room in the middle table. Us grownups had the taller bar-​style tables on the periphery and the nice workers came TO US to serve food, drinks and cake.
We then moved onto the wall climbing room where the kids all took turns climbing the wall and having a good time. All too soon our time was up and we had to go.
All in all, this place is crazy awesome. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN is all I have to say about it. Nice workers. No, wait. That doesn’t do it justice. Very, very, very nice workers every one of them. Spotless facility, good times.
We’ll return for sure.

My 4 year old cousin decided to have his birthday at Safari Run and we had an excellent time. The staff was helpful and kind. I did not think that I would have a good time, but it was quite fun. Luckily we had a Groupon or else we would have never known about the place. I think the best part about the place was how clean it was. I have been to many places very similar to Safari Run and they have been filthy. So I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy everything was.
If you have kids, this is the best place for you.
