Singing Lessons

Specializes in giving voice trainings to teenagers and adults. Based on the Classical School of Bel Canto method, aimed to build solid technical foundations, expand vocal range, explore suitable repertoire for your voice type and improve musical expressions and gain confidence for future performances, public appearances and auditions.

Piano Lessons

Specializes in giving piano lessons to young beginners through to early advanced levels. Adults are welcome. I offer three piano tracks for students wanting to acquire a strong foundation, exploring piano repertoires and improve piano skills in the areas of ear training, rhythm, technique and theory.

How often are the lessons and how long do they last?

It is recommendad that students take weekly lessons. Most lessons are scheduled between 30 – 60 minutes, depending on the age, level and needs of the student.

Poco Music Studio is a small private music studio located in the heart of silicon valley, serving Sunnyvale and the surrounding areas. Recognizing that everyone is unique, my focus is to match the best lesson materials to each individual’s needs.

Carrie Z.

Business Owner

Ms Zhang is a classically trained Vocal Performance graduate from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She began learning the piano at five, and holds a advanced certificate with merit in Piano from Trinity College of London.

An active performer and music teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ms. Zhang began teaching music in classroom and privately since 2011, she also directs a choir in Mountain View. Ms. Zhang is an active member with the National Association of Teachers for Singing (NATS), her piano students have passed CM and ABRSM piano examinations with honors.
