Can’t attest to the quality of work, but note that, contrary to an earlier review, Oakmead no longer does raised ink prints.
Hopefully this will save somebody else some time that might use the online form to get a quote.

Awesome service! I had a rush & gave them the details of the project. 30 minutes after I sent in my pdf I had the proof copy to start printing. They printed my required quantity in RUSH & got me what I needed.
Price is very competitive & work is perfect. The office is small but you’ll get the required material in top quality. I am going to recommend them to my company for build & ship options.
Actually looking back at my email I saw others estimate to be double the price Oakmead provided.

I called in for a quote on a simple print job. Anthony promptly took care of me. I sent my file over email, and got a call in an hour or so with a quote. They then emailed me to confirm my print order. They are also pretty flexible on the delivery time, I got it on the same day (just 3 hours after I made the final confirmation on the order).
I wish I didn’t have to call to make orders, and could do everything online, but I was quite pleased with their responsiveness. Note that they will only take print jobs where the resolution is high enough. My first file was rejected, and I sent another higher resolution file which they accepted.
The final product was very good, and the price is about 30% lower than FedEx or UPS.
I would definitely use Oakmead again.

I have been working with Tony since 2001. I discovered Oakmead while I was working in corporate communications at a large networking firm.
His prices are reasonable and the quality of his work very good. As a marketing communications consultant and graphic designer I appreciate being able to collaborate with Tony on technical issues. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient! I felt he was part of the team. He never disappointed or missed a deadline!

Thank you Tony and Jonathan! I was trying to use an on-​line invitation company to print my wedding invitations and was getting very frustrated with the «fill in the blank» options for wording and the «no live customer service, you have 3 free consultations via a box to write your questions».
Wanting to talk to an actual person, I did a on-​line search for printers and read all the wonderful (and correct!!) reviews on Oakmead Printing. I called right at their posting closing time but Tony answered anyway and took the time to listen to my ideas. He had me email him my info and made an appointment for the following day.
2 weeks later I have my wedding invitations and they are everything I wanted and look even better than I imagined or could have done on-​line!
Tony warned they might be more expensive than on-​line services but their price was very comparable and actually might be less if you factor in the personal time they spent making sure everything was perfect!
I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Wonderful job, excellent customer service, competitive pricing and fast service!!!

I found Oakmead on Unilocal and this is one of my best finds on Unilocal so far!
I worked with Tony (the owner) on my order and they were very prompt with their responses and quotes. I went with Oakmead b/​c they had the best pricing after calling 5 other printers in that area. They were also able to work with my unusual request (the other printers didn’t seem to understand my instructions.)
I couldn’t have asked for more perfect high quality (high gloss) photo thank you cards for my wedding. I spent about $ 1.45/card. Tony was very easy to work and communicate with, the pricing is the best in the area, and the quality of their work is top notch. I highly recommend using Oakmead and I’ll definitely come back here for my personal and business printing needs.

I have nothing but great things to say about Oakmead printing. I was about ready to pull y hair out with trying to print my wedding invitations from home. The stationary I chose was not smooth and the ink from my home printer was not sticking to the paper. I contacted stopped in at Oakmead (without an appointment), spoke with Tony and felt much better that my invitations were going to be done by a true professional ! Tony was very easy to talk to, understood what I needed done, was very patient, and didn’t push me into anything. Pricing was reasonable, and and service was quick. Had my invites in a week (from start to finish with two reviews of the invites prior to printing). If your looking for a print shop with reasonable pricing, and high quality work Oakmead Printing is the place to go !!

I’m currently organizing a charity event for japan tsunami relief. When I came to Tony for flier/​poster/​thank-​card, he basically refused to let us pay for all the high quality printings he gave us.

Oakmead was great! Tony did a great job in printing my wedding invitations! I was quite particular with the printing but he was patient and worked with me throughout the entire process.
I really wanted a sturdy cardstock for the invites and it was very difficult finding a place that would print on a heavier card stock of 120lb paper or more. I received sample prints from several many places all over the bay area and Oakmead was the only place that could do awesome quality digital prints on heavy 130lb cardstock! On top of everything I was looking for, they were very fast and had the most cost effective prices. I had a great experience with them and would highly recommend using their services.

Oakmead Printing provided exceptional service and I would highly recommend them. I had to have business cards printed quickly for a trip and based on the Unilocal reviews I went to Oakmead. I was immediately impressed with the level of courtesy from Tony and Benny. They took care to make sure I would get exactly what I wanted. They recommended paper, edited my graphic files, sent me proofs and even printed one card as a sample. The output from their digital press blew me away with the quality. Their pricing was a bargain to top it off. I will use Oakmead for all my printing needs. They are professional, courteous and deliver. It’s great to see a small business that takes pride in their work.

I needed to have my business cards printed quickly for an event only a few days away. I called around and many print shops don’t have their own equipment and need to send orders out to get printed. If I had the time to wait for an order to get sent out, I would just use Visaprint.
But Oakmead Printing was able to get me my order the next day. They also helped me pick the best paper options for my cards and worked to keep the colors true (my file was in RGB and the printers use CMYK, for those of you that like to get technical). I am not going to lie – their price was over 2 times the price of ordering online, but it was very competitive for local business and I was willing to pay extra for the speed, convenience, and the excellent customer service!
Definitely plan to use them in the future for other business printing needs!

I’ve used Oakmead printing for all my business printing needs both big and small. They always get it right the first time. Perfect paper weight, color, cut, and always on time. I used Oakmead’s services to print wedding programs and personalized menus with their digital offset printing. I worked with Tony and he was very easy to work with and responds quickly.
They have a lot of options to choose from when printing. I was afraid when printing the personalized menus that I would have to type out each name and create a new file for it, but they have a script that could source off an excel sheet which saved me a lot of time an effort.
I was able to go in and do a press check and color changes on the fly and Tony was very accommodating to my demanding designer needs:)
