Great Vape

I work in Mountain View and dropped and shattered my juice bottle. I found this place as it was close to work. The store is to open at 10 am and decided to go on my lunch. The store did not open until 10:15 am, 15 min late, which was a little bit of an inconvenience, and caused me to be delayed back to work. The juice was good and fairly priced.

Cigarette free since February 2015 and I give a lot of credit to this place. Very friendly staff, but more importantly than that, they know what they’re talking about. They have tons of juices, mods, batteries, and tanks that will satisfy the needs of both the beginner and the pro. They’re very approachable and helpful.
I don’t give a lot of 5 stars and I’m very critical of both the services and products I receive. This place is top shelf.

I had bought almost all my vape supplies here but last time I bought something it was defective and they refuse to exchange it saying they don’t do exchanges. They just suggested me to buy a new one
When something is broken from the manufacturer they should take care of it if it’s defective. The owner contacted me and explained to me that the employee had the wrong information about warranty, so he offer me an exchange/​refund and I got it. Still when I got my refund another employee told me again that they don’t have warranty in anything despite I told him the manager told me that they do (but not on liquids that is understandable).
I hope all this confusion can be cleared by the manager to his employees. Thanks again for making things right to a customer.

The staff, management, and owner are some of the friendliest and most charming people I have ever met. They are knowledgable and exhibit great customer service.
My neighbor recently purchased a vape from this awesome place and when she went back to buy more flavors, I tagged along to see what vaping is all about, etc. I didn’t even know this place existed, until my neighbor showed me.
They have a vast amount of flavors, vapes, pipes, etc.
I was blown away by how friendly everyone was to someone like me, who has little to no knowledge of vape pens or their mechanics.
Highly recommend – my new favorite hangout for all your vaping needs.

First of all as a customer Iam intitled to my opinion, its just that, my opinion of the service I recieved while shopping at your Vape shop. There is not 1 single bone in my body that is, jealous, malicious, or full of hatred. When I mention the owner should kill himself. It was a figure of speech never did i mean it literally, but people like yourself will use that to try and avoid the real reason why we are here having this discusion. TRUTH IS YOUR VAPE SHOP SUCKS ASS… And not just any ASS but that LAS VEGAS HOTT, SWEATY, CLAMMY ASS… And who wants bad service or shitty oil to smoke? No one does… Now if you were to head down to san jose to the to the vape bar, or to the vape lounge or Platinum vapes. These vape shops go above and beyond to make sure they hire salesman that are willing to answer all your questions and be more than happy to provide all the oils they sell for you to try. (Top shelf) Not to mention, who in the f#@k provides only 0mg Of nicotine as testers? That in itself is what we in san jose call a DVT, OTHER WISE KNOWN ASS A DIRTY VATO TACTIC. By providing a 0mg. As a tester is bullshit. It is known that all companys even tho the bottle says it contains 3mg of nicotine some are alot harsher then others especially when dealing with the cheap vape oil companies you deal with. Lol i think the local 7−11has a better selection then the crap your store offers. By the way where do you get that oil from? The sweat shops in BAGDAD? SMH SLAP YOURSELF TWICE FOR BEING SUCH A CHEAP SCAPE… And to top it all off you mention living in a shelter as a cry for sympathy. Your not just an embarrassment to yourself but to your whole family. Now go and get your SHINE BOX YOU DEGENERATE CHEAP SCAPE…

Before I say anything else, I’ll just say that, 10 months ago, this is the shop that helped me quit smoking after 10 years of half-​a-​pack-​a-​day *and* they made me feel great about it. At the very, very least, I love ‘em for that.
This was the first vape shop I ever walked into. I did my research online for a few weeks, got an idea of what I was looking for, and walked in here to ask questions I didn’t fully understand. Mike, Zach, and Nick were the first employees I met and they’re just as helpful, silly, and genuinely good people today as they were then. Since then, they’ve hired a number of other people and they all bring their own good qualities to the shop. The regulars in the shop are generally just as helpful and friendly as the staff, which is just ridiculously cool. Great Vape attracts good people, and Rob, the owner, is genuinely proud of his business and supportive of the community.
OK, the shop: massive wall of juice. They’ve got a huge number of flavors and, while the selection doesn’t change dramatically, they’re always testing new flavors and asking what customers think of them to see what to bring in next. Don’t be intimidated; all the flavor testing is free. Come in, grab a seat, and tell them you have no idea what you want.
Tons of hardware in the shop. The selection of mods and atomizers has grown dramatically over the past few months and it’s awesome to see the shelves packed and regularly rotating the latest and greatest (while holding onto a few tried and true items that never fail).
After visiting Great Vape, I started checking out other vape shops in the area and up in Seattle. This one is my favorite. I’m really glad to see so many other shops being successful, but at the end of the day, I’ll hang out here.

This is probably the best vape shop in the area! Customer service is great, everyone is nice and very helpful. Prices are friendly as well:) recommend this place!!!

This shop is awesome. The staff is friendly and they have a lot of flavors in their menu. The layout of the store is very chill, and I like how they have the bar setup so you can sit down. You can try as many flavors as you need to; for free. I highly recommend this shop!

The staff who helped me were great. But I can’t say I’d vouch for the quality of the product, or at least products I purchased, here. I came in as an amateur vape user looking for my first set up and willing to spend a decent amount of money on a nice piece of equipment. I walked out $ 200 poorer and very unhappy with my purchase, though it was about six months ago I’d expect that amount of money to buy something of quality that would last longer based on the experiences of fellow vape pen users.
Strike one:
When I got home the charger didn’t work with the cable it came with. I had to jerry-​rig my speaker power source cord to the charger in order to charge my battery from the get go.
Strike two:
After a month, maybe less, the bottom of my rig started to become loose and wiggly when I attempted to put it on the safety mode in order to avoid burning out the element while it wasn’t in use (in my purse etc.). Eventually I had to unscrew the middle to avoid disconnect the battery from everything.
Strike three:
The thing would leak CONSTANTLY. No matter what I tried to tighten or fiddle with to avoid this simply became an occurrence I had to accept. I basically needed a tissue and/​or plastic bag to contain it when not in use at all times.
Strike four: (maybe «strike» isn’t the correct way of categorizing my problems…) whatever
Finally the bottom «lock» screw became a complete failure. Trying to connect the «on» button with the battery became a hit or miss during use.
Final strike:
((This may or may not be a fault of my own, nonetheless had it not been so janky in the first place I doubt this would have happened)) I ended up falling asleep with the pen on the bed next to me, unscrewed enough to be in the «lock» or disconnected position, or so I thought. I woke up a few hours later to find a huge mess of juice on my bed and instinctively reached for it to prevent any further spillage. It was blazing hot and I burnt my thumb. I needed to use paper towels to pick it up and unscrew everything without injuring myself further. It was quite unnerving after seeing the circulating Internet photos of people who had their pens explode in their hands.
I should also add that I started smoking again anyway so it was rarely used, meaning it didn’t fall apart because I was using it ²⁴⁄₇.
I realize it’s probably far too late for a refund or exchange of equipment. I’m also quite afraid to even try to use it again after scorching my hand with it.
If nothing else I hope this review helps buyers know to avoid the model I purchased and to maybe look up online reviews before asking the advice of the sales person. Oh, and being the amateur I was I had everything set and ready to use when I left the store so I doubt it had to do with my noob vape assembly abilities.

It’s a great vape shop. I’ve seen this shop grow since it opened and have come to make this my go to spot in the south bay. At this point I’ve been vaping for 5 years and have seen it all. Here’s my take on Great Vape.
Staff: Very friendly and helpful folks. I’ve always felt welcome here.
Atmosphere: Nice and chill. It’s cool to sit at their bar and try out the long list of flavors.
Selection: Better than I have come to expect from a vape shop. They have everything I’ve wanted from the cheap stuff to the cooler items for vape enthusiasts.
Pricing: Personally I think they’re prices are great and very fair. Not so high that I want to shop elsewhere and not so inexpensive that I question the quality of juices.
Location: Easy to find and there’s always parking. I love that!

First time reviewing on Unilocal and doing so because this spot deserves the recognition that has earned them 5 stars up to this point. First time vape user and the employees were very knowledgeable and didn’t mind educating me on the topic. Huge selection and the ability to sit down and sample numerous oils is fantastic.

Bought my first vase from here. Staff is very helpful. If you describe what you want to vape, they are pretty on point to what you are looking for. They are friendly, cool, good vibed, and down to earth (easy to have conversations with). Also you have a very wide selection as to what you want to smoke. I came in to find out what’s wrong with my vape after I took it on the airport. They found the problem and fixed it instantly.
Glad I came here for my first vape!

Great Cape has a nice staff and an awesome selection of mostly top shelf juices. They are knowledgeable, have a great attitude toward sampling and chatting. This is a really great crew and store.
The setting is a bit like a pub, where you sit and enjoy the products. They have many brands, which most have 5 or more options. Most of them have more!
The hardware they sell is not notch and up to date; the staff knows what they are selling and the owners are interested in selling you what you need and want: the tacky upselling is not felt here.
If you have not visited, do. Now.

This place is awesome and is practically my 2^nd home, the staff is amazing, really tentative, really friendly to all, great environment. I immediately felt comfortable compared to other shops I’ve been to not knowing much about vapes. If your like me and get nervous going to places you know nothing about this is the place if it’s just to come try flavors or to buy a setup, they will help you a lot and they know their stuff.

I feel inclined to change my four star rating to a five star.
Mike was helpful and ballsy enough to drill out two of my brand new Kayfun 4’s. They came out perfectly and now I can run them super low ohm without ever getting a dry hit.

So this place is totally awesome, one of THE best places to chill for a couple reasons. Let start with the owner, chill, cool, and the ladies love em, think about it… think everyone like Fonzi for the weird noises he made no, cuz he was a pimp! Movin on, the clientele is cool too. Seriously first shop I liked to just go and kick it at and feel like it’s cool to chill. There is diversity, I think MlK sees us vaping together and he sheds a tear. Conveniently located and not hard to park. Prices great, staff knowledgeable. What the hell u waiting for, he should be on Unilocal greatest. Stop reading and go! Recommend Fasho!

I’m starting to quit smoking, happened to be in the area and stopped by.
Super informative (and friendly!) staff, huge huge huge selection of juice, and a pretty wide selection of mods and pens to choose from. The environment is inviting and you’re allowed to try a bunch of different juices for free. I probably had a stand of a dozen different flavors I decided to try…
Bought an awesome boxmod and it was completely built and set up for me and ready to go when I walked out the door.
Great place, great inventory, great staff. Will definitely be returning.

Great Vape is my go to vape shop in the sunnyvale-​mountain view area.
The reason is simple: Genuinely helpful staff.
Alongside the chill laidback vibes and reasonable prices, the level of attention to detail and effort they put into their builds reflects their passion for vaping and s up to par with what you can expect from a true vape hobbyist (Mike for example, was able to unscrew my kraken’s impossibly stuck cover — an impressive feat).
Also, I always learn something new to add to my hobbyist skillset when I come here, as I owe it to Robert for introducing me to DYI juice making amongst other invaluable info.
As for objective store feedback, the visual merchandising definitely needs work, although they just changed the layout of the store so I’m sure they’ll get to that as they continue to improve.
Once again, Great vape is awesome. Recommended.
