Love this place. Well, it’s not really a place but it is a taco truck. The food is delicious and piping hot. I usually come here for the tacos but everything else is just as good. They are located on grape Ave right next to Lozano’s car wash. I’m not sure what their business hours are but they seem to be there during the day. They also serve lengua, which is cow tongue. It’s super flavorful and tender! They also serve their food with a side of radishes and lime or lemon wedges. Every time I get a car wash, I try to run over and grab a quick bite. Their service is really good and the staff is usually friendly. They always give you plates and some napkins for the food.

Best tacos in Sunnyvale area(so far). My friend and I are always on the prowl at lunch time for tacos near work. We checked out Unilocal, and thought we were going to try the El Taco D’oro truck near El Camino and Grape Ave., but the Dos Pinitos truck was the only truck sitting there. I had 2 tacos – carne asada and carnitas. Both had a slightly crispy tortilla – probably not homemade, but close enough to make me wonder – and came with tasty radish slices and peppers on the side. The meat was moist, well-seasoned, and lacked gristle, which can be a problem for a lot of taco trucks/shops. If I have to choose a favorite, it’s the carnitas. My friend started with 2 tacos – carnitas and pollo. He agreed the carnitas rocked, but said the pollo had too much gristle. He followed up with the Al Pastor, and gave that a thumbs up too.

I’ve always seen this truck parked across the street from where I work. and it wasn’t until recently I finally walked across and tried them out. It was mostly due to the fact I had another co-worker that worked a mile or so away, and drove all the way over to get food. After that, I pretty much figured the truck couldn’t be that bed if he drove over to find it and get food from it… so I tried out their tacos and also ordered the tostada de camaron. The food came out wrapped up and ready to go. The salsa was delicious. and like any other street taco. the meat was cooked tender and juicy. Glad I ordered 4 of them! Well. it’s convenient that they stop by only a few feet from my workplace on a regular basis. I’ll be eating here plenty more often now.

I’d rate this a 3.5 stars out of 5. The first time I went here, I would have rated the taco’s at 4 stars. The second time I came here, the tortillas weren’t fresh like they were before, so I rated the tacos 3.5 stars. The price per taco is $ 1.25, so it’s worth trying at least once. They offer 6 types of different cuts of meat, and the taco truck is always available in the front of Felipe’s Market in Sunnyvale from 1pm-2pm Monday-Friday. They also go other places, but I’m not sure of those locations.

Parked in front of Felipe’s Market right on the intersection at Grape and El Camino, is an excellent Mexican taco truck. I was hoping for some pescado and camorones for lunch but they were out. Got an al pastor, lengua and cabeza which were all excellent. The key here besides the meat being well seasoned and cooked is that the tortillas are cooked through to a slight crisp but with enough pliability to hold onto the fillings without getting mushy. This is totally key to a good taco. It’s too bad I don’t live/work in this area because I’d try and hit it all the time. 4.5 stars
